Add functionality to Change Item Information
It would be useful to have more options in the Scan in/Change Item Information function - for example, the ability to change Material Type and Inventory Date.

Option to define which library will serve a patron digitization request with priority
We allow patrons to place digitization requests on print journal articles. For this we use a central digitization department that serves several libraries of the institution. Since the request can be placed on the journal title it often occurs that several libraries could fulfill the request. At the moment the system picks the serving library randomly. Since our central digitization department is located at our central library, it would be extremely helpful, if we could define that items of the central library fulfill the requests with priority. "Fulfilment Configuration Utility"- include specific loan date for closed days
When setting up the Closed Library Due Date Management for short loan items, it would be useful to be able to test it in the Fulfilment Configuration Utility by specifying the loan date and time rather than the only option being 'if the item was borrowed now'.
For example, in order to test the rule for our 24 hour loans when taking the weekend closed days into consideration, this can only be done on a Friday, which can mean having to wait 5 days to test the parameter.

Retain Course Reserves info in Alma Analytics
It would be helpful if the system would retain information about course reserves in Analytics, even after things are deleted in Alma. It would be useful to be able to look back over various terms and see what courses were run and when.

Make Push Selected to MDE button available for Itemized Sets
'Push Selected to MDE' (pushing records in bulk to Metadata Editor) is not available for Itemized sets, but it is available for Logical sets in the current Alma implementation. While the option to Push Selected to MDE is plainly visible in the Logical Set Results view (please see the attached screenshots), it is replaced by the 'Remove Selected' button in the Itemized Sets Members’ view. Authority control for name-title access points: link bibliographic 1XX+240 to authority 1XX $t
In Alma, bibliographic records containing 1XX + 240 do not establish an effective authority link with the corresponding name-title authority record (1XX $t).
As a result, when the authorized access point for a name-title authority is updated (for example, a change in the title portion in 1XX $t), the update is not propagated to the linked bibliographic records. The 240 fields in affected bibliographic records remain unchanged and must be identified and edited manually.
This behavior results in:
· High manual maintenance effort
· Increased risk of inconsistencies between authority and bibliographic data

Add Electronic Collection Information to the Bib Record Enrichment Fields in the OAI Publishing Profile
Problem - Database type electronic collections are not getting published to Blacklight in the OAI publishing job. So bibliographic records that have database type electronic collection inventory attached, display as records without inventory in the catalog.
Situation as described by Ex Libris - The OAI publishing profile is designed to publish the BIB record plus the enrichment fields. The Collection enrichment in the profile is for the Digital Collection, not the Electronic collection. Map item level fields, Pattern Type and Linking Number in Analytics.
Area of concern: Analytics Fields for Reporting on Serials 863/866 Generation.
Please reference Ex Libris presentation ‘Automation Tasks for Summary Holdings’:
In order for 863/866 Summary Holdings generation to work properly, each item record must contain certain information in the ‘Pattern Type’ and ‘Linking Number’ fields. Currently, these fields are not mapped in analytics, so there is no way to report on which records lack this info. Without this reporting capability, we are stuck individually checking many thousands of records to be sure they have the required information.

Barcode field should be active when "Set Barcodes" opens
When receiving physical items, "Receive and set barcodes" should open the "Set barcodes" dialog box with the barcode field active. This would remove the need to click in the field before scanning in the new barcode.

Manual Deleting of User (Patron) records and need for consistency in maintaining reportable data
At present Alma has an inconsistent method of maintaining reportable patron data when a user record is deleted. The reality is that the policies established by an institution (to keep fully reportable, or keep statistics, or fully remove) do not apply when a patron record is manually deleted - ie. Deleted in: Administration > User Management > Find and Manage Users.

When creating a new local portfolio generates a new bib record, the portfolio's material type should determine the bib's material type.
ExL documentation states, "When creating a new bibliographic record, the portfolio material is not taken into account. Thus, when you add a local portfolio and set a specific electronic material type, a bibliographic record is also created, but with 'Book' as the material, regardless of the portfolio's material. When adding ISSN, the material remains to be 'Book'. "
This is imprecise and creates issues for discovery: when I create a new portfolio for a Kanopy video and select Electronic Material Type=Streaming Video, the bib record is encoded for a book. So in Primo, the video's Resource Type shows as book,…

Set continuing orders not to claim
There are some continuing orders for which we do not "receive" every item, such as newspapers that will be discarded after several weeks. It would be great if PO lines had an option to indicate that they should not be claimed. They end up cluttering up the Claims list and making the list harder to work with, when we are never going to claim or receive those issues. We also can't set up automatic claiming because we don't want emails sent for these titles.

Order lines - Customize view: please add "Acquisition method"
Our colleagues are missing the field "Acquisition method" in the results list when searching for PO Lines.
Currently the field is only a facets value but this will also not add the field to the Excel export file.

Increase the number of available facets for all POL searching
All aspects of the POL should be available as facets, assuming they appear sufficiently frequently in a set of results. Most notably, all 5 reporting code fields should be available as facets.
Additionally, other sources of POL lists, such as the Alma Vendor Record should offer all of the same faceting functionality, including the ability to customize which facets are visible.49 votes -
Enable creation of individual patron blocks for loans of specific material types
If an institution needs to prohibit an individual user from borrowing a particular type of resource temporarily, e.g. placing a temporary ban on laptop loans for that person, then there is no way to block them from borrowing items of that specific material type without preventing them from borrowing everything else as well. As a result, we are unable to apply blocks in exceptional circumstances, such as with our laptop loans service, because the block would be disproportionate and prevent the user borrowing any physical items at all. Music Score as Material Type when PO Line Type is in Electronic Collection or Portfolio
"Musical Score" is listed as material type only when the POL Type is in print format, but it's not available when the PO Line Type is either electronic Collection or Electronic Portfolio. We do have full text e-score from either collections or portfolios, i.e. Proquest's Music Online: Classical Scores Library, vol. 1-6. They are not books or journals. Please make electronic Musical Score available in POLs.

When paying specific fees by selecting fees from the list of fees, the sum of the selected fees should be calculated and displayed immediately before leaving the list when entering the select button. As of now the sum is displayed only after leaving the list via the select button, which is too late for a correction of the selection.
