  1. Partner with ORCid to provide a list of Faculty that have ORCid but don't have a registered pivot profile

    Use the ORCid API to pull a list of faculty based on current affiliation and be able to send them a promotional email to alert them that we subscribed to Pivot

  2. Dismiss an opportunity

    It would be great to be able to dismiss an opportunity and have it hidden from view for the future. For example, if I search for limited opportunities for my campus, I get many hits and most are irrelevant. If I search again a week later, I get them all again. I would like to be able to check a box on an opportunity that will hide it from me or delete it from my future searches.

    Please allow administrators to share permissions with other administrators to add to their already existing curated lists. I work with a team of three and each of us are administrators who would like to not only curate our own lists, but have permissions to let other administrators add to or make changes to these lists when necessary. I understand that others that are "users" can see curated lists with no editing rights, but we really want to be able to have other administrators add to our curated lists so this is a "team effort" in curating the best lists for…

  4. 1 button access to a proxied, persistent URL for Pivot searches that all users (not just admin) can create and share

    Easily obtain (through 1 click or 1 button) a proxied, persistent/stable URL for a Pivot search that can be shared with others at our institution who sign in via IP authentication. We are looking for an option to share Pivot searches that does NOT require Admin privileges, does NOT require specifying the email addresses of the folks with whom the search will be shared with, and also does NOT require users to create a separate Pivot account to create/share their searches (although they will need to sign in through our university).     Like funding opportunities has a widget, have a widget available for faculty to search for collaborators that admins can embed into websites.

  6. Expand the number of opportunities shown in email alerts

    Please expand email funding alerts to include all the new opportunities found rather than just a few and making us click on a bigger results page to see the rest? I often get through email on my phone when I don't have internet access but cannot complete processing these alerts until I am at a computer, even if I am not interested in any of the titles.

  7. Usage Report Expansion

    From my perspective as an admin, it would be helpful to see a report that contains the highest frequency searches by opportunity and type of opportunity (foundation, federal, etc.). Not necessarily linked to an account but this would be useful because we want to be able to separate what faculty are interested in from research administrator searches.”

    The Calendar feature is great. Would be better if it included the internal deadlines we add as well as the agencies' deadlines.

  10. Internal awards: reoccurence of opportunity box

    When adding/editing internal awards currently, the only choices for Reoccurence of Opportunity under the Deadlines heading is "One-off or award terminated", and "Continuous, no deadline". These two options do not include the vast majority of our 75+ internal awards (we do not have a single"one-off or award terminated"). The most obvious type should be "Annual". Another category could be "Multiple" or "One Per Term" or "Quarterly", etc. to capture those with more than one deadline in a year.

  11. Provide tracked opps the same features as saved searches

    Provide tracked opportunities the same features and functionality of a saved search. This means including the names of the funders in addition to the program grant name and allowing users to drill down to get more specific lists such as "Deadline Certainty," "Funding Types," "Funder Types," etc.

  12. Anticipated/ Confirmed options for Internal Awards

    Currently, there's no way to define an internal award as an anticipated deadline (other than in deadline notes). I would like to see Internal Opps function like External Opps so that in the search list it's clearly defined as either Anticipated or Confirmed deadline, and can even be filtered as such like the external awards are.

  13. Improved email alerts with Limited Submission label

    Current email alerts for tracked opportunities (both for updates and for upcoming deadlines) do not specify if the opportunity is a limited submission or an internally coordinated opportunity. One must click on the link of the opportunity and open Pivot page to see if it is LS. We use the upcoming deadline email alerts as a way to know it is time to add our own internal deadline to the opp, and it is extremely inefficient to not be able to quickly see which opps are LS, and which are not from within the email message itself.

    I'd like to be able to sort my list of users (as listed under User Accounts and New Accounts) by College so that we can track activity by College.

  15. View a combined list of funding opportunities for a group of faculty

    It would be helpful for an administrative view of all funding opportunities available for a group of faculty (e.g., those in a multidisciplinary center or institute). This would be helpful for research administrators to quickly review, curate, and disseminate relevant opportunities to the group.

    This is partially supported. Could you share more details about this idea.  We currently have functionality like this.  If you view any profile we will display funding recommendations based on the aggregate profile for the person’s department.  But this is at a department level – not institute or center.

  16. Customized templates or settings for emails sent from Pivot

    I'd like to customize the emails that get sent to a user when I create an account for them, or when I mark something with an internal deadline, etc.

  17. Funding opp matches to profiles at institution

    When viewing a specific opp, and you select the option at the right side where it matches to "# from inside your institution," allow us the "Refine Search" option on the results page, the same way we do on a profile or funding search.

  18. Percentage on Relevance

    When a user sort by relevance, it is very helpful to show the percentage of the relevance.
    NSF funding opportunity provides the percentage of relevance.

    I would love to be able to choose to receive my funding alerts on a daily basis rather than a weekly basis. Sometimes the turnaround time for deadlines is so short that a week away is valuable time lost. Thanks! Hilda

  20. Integrate papers invited with funding opportunities

    If there's a seminar or congress abroad, it could be helpful a hyperlink to access those opportunities that match with travel funding, for example.
