  1. Improved email alerts with Limited Submission label

    Current email alerts for tracked opportunities (both for updates and for upcoming deadlines) do not specify if the opportunity is a limited submission or an internally coordinated opportunity. One must click on the link of the opportunity and open Pivot page to see if it is LS. We use the upcoming deadline email alerts as a way to know it is time to add our own internal deadline to the opp, and it is extremely inefficient to not be able to quickly see which opps are LS, and which are not from within the email message itself.

  2. Provide tracked opps the same features as saved searches

    Provide tracked opportunities the same features and functionality of a saved search. This means including the names of the funders in addition to the program grant name and allowing users to drill down to get more specific lists such as "Deadline Certainty," "Funding Types," "Funder Types," etc.

  3. Internal awards: reoccurence of opportunity box

    When adding/editing internal awards currently, the only choices for Reoccurence of Opportunity under the Deadlines heading is "One-off or award terminated", and "Continuous, no deadline". These two options do not include the vast majority of our 75+ internal awards (we do not have a single"one-off or award terminated"). The most obvious type should be "Annual". Another category could be "Multiple" or "One Per Term" or "Quarterly", etc. to capture those with more than one deadline in a year.

  4. Newsletter Performance Statistics

    Add email performance statistics such as the open rate and click rate. Or bounces or did not open etc. This would be helpful for the evaluation of a campaigns metrics which in Pivot is called Newsletter and by using it replaces traditional email campaigns such as ConstantContact or MailChimp.

  5. Anticipated/ Confirmed options for Internal Awards

    Currently, there's no way to define an internal award as an anticipated deadline (other than in deadline notes). I would like to see Internal Opps function like External Opps so that in the search list it's clearly defined as either Anticipated or Confirmed deadline, and can even be filtered as such like the external awards are.

  6. InfoReady Integration: Pulling Internal Deadlines Back Into Pivot

    It would be amazing (and hopefully this is eventually the plan) if the Pivot/InfoReady integration had the functionality that, once you "push to" IRR and create the competition, that when you "launch" the competition it also exports data like competition URL and internal deadline back into Pivot to add to the Deadlines section of the opportunity. Right now I'm doing this manually, and having it done automatically would save me lots of time.

  7. lnternal Deadlines included in sort

    Currently when sorting a search by deadline only the funder dates that are editorially entered by Pivot-RP show up. If I add an earlier internal deadline this shows up on the listing but NOT in the sort. I would like manually entered deadlines (that are usually the "soonest") to be the date that a search uses as the earliest deadline. If we have a limited submission competition for example, I want that due date to show up as the "soonest" in a sort list.

  9. "Push" InfoReady Competitions to Pivot

    It would be super neat if admins could "push" competitions (especially internal funding competitions") into Pivot, so that we don't have to manually enter internal funding opportunities if we have InfoReady, we'd just need to push certain information into the partner system. I would enter a lot more internal funding opportunities into the Pivot database if there were an easier way for me to take competitions that are listed/posted in InfoReady and "push" certain data from those competitions into Pivot, so that they show up in our users' searches.

  10. Editing Funding Contact Person to Be or Include Campus Contact Person

    We want to be able to add our own Foundation/Corporate Engagement representatives to the “Funding Contact Person” part of a opportunity page--or even replace it with our own contact if possible. With most of our foundation/corporate opportunities, we don’t want the user to contact the foundation’s own representative directly. Instead, we want them to contact our own relationship manager for that foundation first. Adding this as a note to the bottom of the page is ineffective; users don't see it. We want to add to or replace the contact information already listed at the top right of the page.

  12. 1 button access to a proxied, persistent URL for Pivot searches that all users (not just admin) can create and share

    Easily obtain (through 1 click or 1 button) a proxied, persistent/stable URL for a Pivot search that can be shared with others at our institution who sign in via IP authentication. We are looking for an option to share Pivot searches that does NOT require Admin privileges, does NOT require specifying the email addresses of the folks with whom the search will be shared with, and also does NOT require users to create a separate Pivot account to create/share their searches (although they will need to sign in through our university).   13. Add "match any/match all" choice to keyword field in Conferences and Papers Invited

    Similar to how it works for funding opportunities, it would be useful to toggle to "match all" in the keyword field for Conferences and Papers Invited to narrow down results.

  15. Include Proposers' Days and opportunity-related webinars on the opportunity pages.

    The DOD and NSF frequently have Proposers' Days and other webinars/info sessions about specific funding opportunities. Including these dates with the other opportunity information would be very helpful so faculty don't have to hunt for them.

  16. Import publications/integration

    Develop a way to integrate with additional tools such as Digital Measures. Our faculty use that program much more extensively than they do ORCID and it would be nice to be able to import their publications from that system.

    Allow users to choose whether they are searching for exact match or contains. So I could say that I want to search for people with the name Boe and it either return only exact matches or any name that contains boe.

I work with a team of three and each of us are administrators who would like to not only curate our own lists, but have permissions to let other administrators add to or make changes to these lists when necessary. I understand that others that are "users" can see curated lists with no editing rights, but we really want to be able to have other administrators add to our curated lists so this is a "team effort" in curating the best lists for…

  19. Incorporate machine learning into Advisor Alert algorithm

    It would be wonderful to build a feedback mechanism for the Advisor Alerts system and incorporate machine learning based on that input. For instance, a scholar could get an Advisor Alert email, mark or dismiss opportunities as they see fit and have that data utilized by the system to create better results for the individual researcher.
