Generate item-level request for reading room materials
Currently, if there is one copy of an item in general stacks and another in a reading room location, assuming both are available, Alma will prioritize the stacks copy for requests and the request form will be based on the stacks request TOU. Some institutions use reading rooms for Special Collections materials, so the items may not be interchangeable and if a patron requests the reading room copy, we want the request to be specific to that item and the form to follow the reading room request TOU (limiting the pickup location).

Show Additional ID under Manage Patron Services > Request
The Royal Danish Library has placed the pickup number in Additional ID. In order to have easy access to the number, we would like to see the number under Manage Patron Services / Requests. We would like to have an extra column (Additional ID)

Request option via List of Items screen
It is possible to place a Work Order on an item from the List of Items screen, but not a Request. Could this function be added?

Enable a user to upload a snip or screenshot to the resource sharing request form
When placing a resource sharing request, our users sometimes wish to attach a screenshot or snip to give us additional information about their requested item. Could this ability be added to the resource sharing form please.

Converting Digitization request to RS request - The RS request should show this on the first page rather than in the notes section
When converting a digitization request to a resource sharing borrowing request. Currently this is only shown in the notes section. This means interlibrary staff have to do an extra click to see whether the request is a conversion from a digitization. it would be better if this was shown on the first page. So that interlibrary staff can deal with this type of request differently, as it has already been triaged by other library staff.

More PO line options for Create Purchase Request
Purchase Requests functionality is great idea (ACQUISITIONS --> Purchase Requests); unfortunately, the usefulness of this new feature is limited because it appears that it can only be used with certain PO Line Types (Print Book - One Time, Electronic Book - One Time; Print Journal - Subscription; Electronic Journal - Subscription). We cannot use the purchase requests workflow for physical media, for example, because there is no option for a requester to choose a "Citation type" that would map to a PO Line Type of Visual Material. when convert resource sharing request to purchase request - having default settings
Currently when a resource sharing request is changed to a purchase request our doc del team have to change the same settings everytime. It would be better if we could set defaults on this process, so this team doesn't have to keep changing the same settings.

Link to edit POL when a purchase request is approved
When a purchase request is approved, a pop-up appears with a confirmation message and a link to the POL that has been created. This link only allows you to visualize the POL.
It would save time if it was an edit link of the POL or that from the display there would be a button to edit the POL.A video is attached
8 votesDear community, when a Purchase Request is approved and ordered, a PO line is created, Alma provides the user with a confirmation message with the newly created PO line number, this number is clickable and will navigate the user to the PO line in view mode. In case the user hase the relevant role, there is an “Edit” button on the top right corner of the screen which will convert the PO line from “View” to “Edit” mode.

Place in queue for hold requests is confusing for users
Can the queue numbering begin with 1 rather than zero? The zero is confusing to users when an item request is made. Users interpret this as not available. It's hard to explain the queue is for those waiting not those who placed the first request.
256 votesThe OTB value of the labels was changed from “Place in queue: {0}” to “{0} user(s) before you get served”. The change is not affecting existing customers, only new ones. In case existing customers would like to user the new label, there is a “Restore” row action on the label, this will bring the new label to your Alma.

Displaying the "Requester Notes" from Purchase Requests in the list of Purchase Requests
In the Purchase Request List you can't see the "Requester Note" for a Purchase Request. In many cases there are very helpful information for managing the Requests. So it would be great if you can see the information immediately.
If the Note is very long, a mouse over with the text could be a solution.21 votes -
Ability to customise borrowing request statuses and actions
We only use a limited number of the borrowing request actions and statuses but find staff sometimes pick one that we don't use and then the request becomes stuck. We would like to be able to customise the list of actions available at the institution level (not just the user level) and also the list of statuses available in the Change Status drop down at the top of the Borrowing Requests page.

Authority linking issue with bibliographic field 240
We'd request that when Alma links up bib field 240 with a uniform title entered in authority record, it should take into account of bibliographic contents in field 240 PLUS field 100 ALTOGETHER, and link these combined contents with uniform titles entered in authority records.
Currently, it links up the uniform title in field 240 only with authority record. So, those generic uniform titles e.g. Works, Poetry, etc. will be ambiguous, and do not have proper linking with their authority records established with author's name.

Automatic request not filled notification for on loan items which are requested but not returned without cancelling the request
If a user places a request for an item currently on loan to another user and the requested item is not returned there should be an option to notify the requester that the request is not going to be fulfilled without using the cancel request function and disassociating the user's request from the item.

Digitization requests
By default, digitization requests are considerered as "Full". We would like customers to be able to choose between "Full Digitization" and "Partial Digitization" by default when creating a Digitization request. Alma administrators should be able to define a default digitization request type.

(Option to) make an aborted search request permanent and prevent it from loading in the background
Sometimes you hit the search button to early by mistake, starting a request that takes quite a long time to load. If you cancel this request and make a new request, the new one will often be completed earlier, giving you the right results. Yet the original request would continue to load in the background, making the results list to switch back to the wrong results.

Monitor Requests Workbench: export
When exporting (digitization) requests via the Monitor Request Workbench, we would like an overview containing also the specific request info (chapter title, pages...). The latter info can now only be obtained by manually clicking on "Edit" per request and this is only possible for active requests. For multiple digitization requests on 1 item, it is useful have all desired pages/titles exported in one overview for swift handling. Also for completed requests, it is valuable information to have all requested pages/titles in one overview.

Analytics: Add Purchase Request Requester user information at the time of request
The Purchase Request Subject Area Purchase Request Requester user information is updated every day by ETL to the current user information.
In many cases, this is useful. But it is not useful for reporting when it is important to know the information of a user at the time of an action.
