Make personal delivery labels in Resource Sharing request form configurable
We have had many complaints from users who don't understand what Work Address means in the pickup/delivery location drop down menu in the resource sharing form, or they don't even see it.
We much prefer the layout within the patron physical item request form where home and work address are separated from Library pickup locations under a personal delivery heading and where we can customise the labels for Home and Work Address.
Please make the same functionality available in the resource sharing request form so that we can make all of our request forms a consistent experience for users.

Converted from hold request needs adding to Resource Sharing Borrowing Request Subject Area
We are currently trying to get statistics of Scan and Send requests that we have completed. Over 121 of these requests where converted into Resource Sharing Borrowing Request. However, it is difficult to find out how many of the 121 request that were converted have then been completed by RS. It would be good if a column was created for the Resource Sharing Borrowing Request subject area to show whether a request was converted from a Digitization or a hold request. So we can create a report that shows the lifecycle of these types of requests.

Enable Purchase Requests to be auto-assigned to a specific user based on either fund code or name/EID of the person submitting the request.

Request cancel: Can we make the reason drop down options configurable?
Some of the options for canceling a request do not apply to our institution, so I would like to put the most likely options at the top of the drop down menu.

Override Resource Sharing Request Limit
There is an Active Resource Sharing Request limit, which you set in the Fulfillment rules for your resource sharing libraries.
However there doesn't appear to be an ability to allow staff to override this limit, which from time to time they need to do.
I propose that there is a parameter that allows staff with a particular role the ability to override this limit.
Either something that was set as the default for the Fulfillment Services Manager role, or a block preference that you can override.5 votesHello All,

Ability to reverse 'completed' requests in Resource Sharing
There are some occasions where we have completed a resource sharing request, and then later realise we aren't actually "finished" with the request.
Even if you change the status to something else (e.g. shipped physically), you are still unable to receive an item on the request number.Would it be possible to create an option to 'un-complete' a request? Which would then give the request all the available options as active requests?
36 votesThe July 2019 release has a feature for ‘Reactivate Resource Sharing Requests’.
For completed peer to peer resource sharing requests, a new row action, Reactivate Request, is available on the Resource Sharing Task List. This action may be used to reactivate a request that has been mistakenly marked as completed.
The option is available on both the borrowing and lending request task list.
For borrowing requests, a temporary item is recreated using the previous barcode with the process status set to ‘In resource sharing’.
For lending requests, the shipped item’s process status is set to In resource sharing and the item is relinked. The request status is Request Reactivated.

Alternative process for resource sharing borrowing requests rejected by last partner on rota
This idea is copied from ners request 4995 proposed solution which didn't make the cut-off in the second round of voting.
When a resource sharing borrowing request is rejected by the last partner on the rota the request is automatically cancelled. The proposed solution would mean the request isn't cancelled and then staff can add new partners to the rota or decide to cancel the request if there are no other options for fulfilling the request.

Attach copy in Borrowing Request
We would like to be able to attach a PDF article that has been supplied by another library, into a borrowing request in Alma RS to send to our client rather than using our email, similar to the way you can with Lending Requests.
Currently we have to email all PDFs outside of Alma RS.

XML Expansion for "Ful Resource Request Slip Letter" with Data about Reshelving Status and about Expected Date when Item will be Reshelved
For fetching requested media at the stacks we are making use of the "Ful Resource Request Slip Letter" in printed form which we customized according to our needs.
Unfortunately, the data fields that contain
- the information that the requested item might currently not be at the stacks because it has just been returned and is therefore very likely on its way back to the stacks (Status = awaiting_reshelving)
- and the information when the requested item is expected to be reshelved ("reshelving_time")
are not provided in the XML data of the "Full Resource Request Slip Letter".

Alma RS Borrowing - view the patron ID (primary identifier) number in the main body of a borrowing request
When you edit a borrowing request you can't see the patron ID number in any of the fields. It is only seen when you come out of editing a request and view the details next to the Request name. It should be seen with the request information.

Request option via List of Items screen
It is possible to place a Work Order on an item from the List of Items screen, but not a Request. Could this function be added?

Converting Digitization request to RS request - The RS request should show this on the first page rather than in the notes section
When converting a digitization request to a resource sharing borrowing request. Currently this is only shown in the notes section. This means interlibrary staff have to do an extra click to see whether the request is a conversion from a digitization. it would be better if this was shown on the first page. So that interlibrary staff can deal with this type of request differently, as it has already been triaged by other library staff.

Allow Purchase Requests to be re-linked to a different bib record
After the March updates and the removal of the search in repository it has become difficult to correct mistakes after the initial creation of a purchase request. I suggest that the search in repository function be added back to allow us to relink a purchase request to the correct bib record instead of having to recreate the purchase request.

Currently when a resource sharing request is changed to a purchase request our doc del team have to change the same settings everytime. It would be better if we could set defaults on this process, so this team doesn't have to keep changing the same settings.

Generate item-level request for reading room materials
Currently, if there is one copy of an item in general stacks and another in a reading room location, assuming both are available, Alma will prioritize the stacks copy for requests and the request form will be based on the stacks request TOU. Some institutions use reading rooms for Special Collections materials, so the items may not be interchangeable and if a patron requests the reading room copy, we want the request to be specific to that item and the form to follow the reading room request TOU (limiting the pickup location).

Configurable hard coded date for request expiry
We've struggled with users not understanding the purpose of the 'Not needed after' date field in the various request forms linked to Primo VE. This often means we received requests with supplied 'Not needed after' dates of a few days later meaning they're cancelled before even being in transit or picked, particularly on unstaffed weekends. Relabelling the field hasn't helped matters due to users not paying attention to it and thinking it's a 'needed/collect on' mandatory date.

The Royal Danish Library has placed the pickup number in Additional ID. In order to have easy access to the number, we would like to see the number under Manage Patron Services / Requests. We would like to have an extra column (Additional ID)
