Analytics - make History tab in User Records indexed & searchable
We have been informed by Ex Libris that when a User Record is updated, either with an API or via the Alma interface, then those fields updated will not be updated with the daily SIS feed. They are considered "manual" changes and are therefore, locked. Now, in the history tab of User Records, you can see the changes made and by whom, but we have been told this information is not available in Analytics and the only way to know who has these locked fields is as we come across them. Upload Electronic Holdings (Autoload holding list) – the reports do not listed out the deleted titles
We use the autoload feature to update electronic holdings for specific vendors such as ScienceDirect and Ovid.
After autoload, we find that the job will list out the no. of portfolios “added”, “updated”, and “deleted” but without the deleted titles listed out at the job report. Whenever a portfolio is deleted, we need to check if the deleted titles are removed correctly? Do we have perpetual access right for the deleted titles and do we need to claim for the access right with the new publisher.

Ability to create sets from "Manage Deleted Repository" search
We would like the ability to create a set from a "Manage Deleted Repository" search.
Some vendors cannot use the "delete" files currently generated by Publishing Profiles. We would like to create sets (especially logical ones) from a "Manage Deleted Repository" search so that they can be attached to a Publishing Profile and help automate delete processes for these vendors rather than using an external script with the API and analytics.
This way, someone would only have to update the deleted date range of the set periodically, or even better, more search options and filters could be created for "Manage…

May release : deletion of empty holdings.
Dear all
the May release introduced a change concerning the deletion of empty holdings:The 'Delete Holdings' link in the 'List of Holdings' page, which was formerly visible to users with the 'Physical Inventory Operator' role, is now visible only to users who have the 'Physical Inventory Operator Extended' role.
This change is a problem because not all the operators can have the physical Inventory Operator Extended role: this role allows operators to delete copies and it is quite dangerous.

Alma RS - Lending - Ship item digitally - email address to be viewable & editable
When Lending requests are shipped via ‘Ship item digitally’ staff cannot see the Borrowing library’s email address.
Below is a specific case with a VDX borrowing library. However the case can be applied to other scenarioes such as when a borrowing library asks to have the request shipped to a different email address.

Reading lists - notification on Alma if an attempt is made to delete an item on a Leganto reading list
We would like there to be a notification on Alma if any attempt is made to delete an item that is on a Leganto reading list, whether it is deleted individually or as part of a batch-job. The deletion could be because the physical item is in poor condition or has been lost by a user, in which case we would need to know to purchase another copy. Alternatively, we may be deleting because we have purchased a newer edition, and would need to make sure that our reading lists are updated. This would apply to both physical and e-resources.…

More information on Process Type Transit
In 'Item history', you can see when an item was checked in and out of transit, but not for whom or whereto. If something goes wrong with the transit, you can't get any information about the inactive/completed request.

Item Sequences Configuration: "Set Next Sequence Value"
It is currently not possible to change the sequence value to a lower one --> error message: "The new sequence value must be greater than the current value."
In order to achieve the desired result, you then have to delete the counter and set it up again.

Location color schemes
I would like to make it an option to change the color scheme of the ALMA top ribbon/possibly sidebar to differentiate locations especially between Main Circulation Desk and Acquisitions, of which I have to switch regularly. This would save me time spent on correcting errors due to being in the wrong location for a particular procedure.

Provide a solution to use POLs in context of Auto Holdings collections
The Auto Holdings collections are a big help for activating electronic resources. However, if you want combine them with manage your orders for the resources in Alma, you run into problems.
Use case 1: A library orders several thematic e-book packages on a yearly basis from Springer. They activate SpringerLink Books - AutoHoldings. All e-books are activated there. If, however, the library wants to retrace, wich thematic packages they bought in which year, they are confronted with n POLs attached to SpringerLink Books - AutoHoldings with no chance to sort out quickly, which order pertains to which collection and which…21 votes -

Hello,
To be able to develop several external tools (relabelling, cataloging, ...) we need to access the "Accession number" table by API (read and write).
This would probably give many other clients oportunities in developing external tools for managing physical collections.

Send borrowers an email when they place a request
It would be good if, when someone places a request on Primo, they could be sent an email receipt to confirm what they have requested. (This is an idea for both Alma and Primo, as I assume the email would be sent from Alma).
Not only would it be useful for users to have confirmation (a lot of webforms will send users a copy of their completed form, so people half-expect one from Primo/Alma), but it would allow libraries to include important messaging.

Add Collection related subject area/dimensions/parameters in Analytics
Please elaborate Collection in Analytics. We suggest three ideas for that;
Idea 1)
Collection can be a separate dimension, with the existing/new parameters below;
- Collection ID (existing)
- Collection Name (existing)
- Collection External System
- Collection External ID
- Collection MMS ID (of the collection's BIB itself)
- ★★★ The PIDs of the collection's direct sub-collections (in different rows, not combined with semicolons; should be repeatable so that the created report can show the hierarchical structure of whole collections)

Delete interested users job - independent of Interested In Letter
Ex Libris says the Delete interested users job "Runs weekly to delete interested users that are linked to closed or canceled PO lines. The job checks that an interestedin letter was sent to the interested users before removing it from the PO Line. Interested users will not be removed from a closed or canceled PO line if a letter was not sent to them."
Due to privacy regulations, we would like the job to run regardless of a letter being sent or not. The closed or cancelled PO line should be sufficient to run the job.

Prevent deletion of portfolios with access type perpetual or current plus perpetual
When deleting portfolios individually or through a batch process, add a feature to flag/warn about portfolios with perpetual or current plus perpetual for the access type before they are deleted. It could be similar to the message and process you run into upon trying to delete a portfolio with an active po line or a physical holding with an active po line. My library's portfolios attached to larger collections often do not have PO lines (as much of this work was done in our former library system prior to Alma migration).
