  1. Allow BOTH Analytics widgets and Data Visualisation workbooks on Alma homepage

    I currently have a DV workbook on my Alma homepage. I recently wanted to add an Analytics Widget but was unable to.
    I opened a case with ExLibris and was advised that it is not possible to have BOTH DV and a widget on your homepage and they suggested raising it as an ideas exchange.

    So I propose that it would be useful to be able to have BOTH Alma Analytics Widgets and DV Workbooks available to view together/at the same time on the Alma Homepage.

  2. Add "Job category" in the expandable requester's info label in the RS request.

    We would like to have a requester's "Job category" (Department) listed in the expandable requester's info label in the RS request (see the picture attached).
    When a request is unfilled the Document Delivery staff send a notification message to the relevant department mailbox straight from the request via “Send query to patron”.
    Currently, we must open the requester's account to find out their department then go back to the request to send a message. This is very inconvenient.
    It would be useful to make the label modifiable to let a library to create the label by selecting only parameters necessary…

  3. Add "Price paid" field to POL form

    Adding a "Price paid" field in the Pricing area of the Purchase Order Line Details form-- and/or making the Net price per copy box accept text input-- would be helpful for invoices/receipts that only include the price paid.

    Currently one needs to calculate the Discount (amount) [or Discount (%)], which may also include looking up [current] List price before subtracting the amount paid to calculate the discount.

    (Speaking of current List price, if this could somehow be "grabbed" to automatically populate the list price field, rather than needing to look up the information and manually input the amount, that could…

  4. Physical Item Hold Requests

    Multi site library - prevent users from placing a physical item hold request on items that are available on the shelf of the library they are placing the hold request from - if the item is not available on the shelf but a copy is available at a different location then placing a physical item hold request should be allowed.

  5. Improve Loan Activity Letter so that it does not duplicate information

    Loan Activity Letter lists loans and overdue loans separately. Thus, when a user only has overdue loans, they appear twice.
    I propose that in the event that a user only has overdue loans, these loans apeears only once.

  6. account or book alarms

    we often invoice customers for lost items only for them to return it without notifying a member of staff, meaning we have to keep checking either the book or the account to see if the books have been returned prompting us to cancel any invoices - it would be great if we could add an alarm to an account or book to notify us when a book has been returned...I envisage adding the ALARM to a BOOK or ACCOUNT when ever setting up blocks/fees associated with the account.

  7. Material types not sorted and not searchable at the title level

    The item-level search for specific material types is not sorted alphabetically. This is the case in the English user interface.
    A title-level search for this parameter would also be desirable.

  8. Configuration option to prevent Digitization request when item is on loan.

    Issue: Digitization requests are typically needed “ASAP” by our users. When an item is on loan, we don’t want to recall it as it will typically take longer than the requester can wait.
    Current configuration options:
    When Configuring Loan Recall Requests and the following is set to “Yes” PHYSICALTODIGITIZATION - Patron digitization request for physical resource, the item will be recalled. When set to “No” the item will not be recalled, instead a hold is placed on the item.

    Need: A configuration option for digitization requests that does not recall or place a hold(prevent renewal) on items that…

  9. Desable default "Assigned to Me" in the new Review PO line list

    In the new Review (PO line) list, the default Assignment is "Assigned to Me". It would be beter that the default Assignment is deactivate here.

    In some libraries, the PO Lines are centralized and managed by specific person/service and not by the PO Line creator/assignment.

  10. Allow re-ordering of categories (Online Services; GES) within ViewIt area

    It is currently possible to modify the Online Services Order and General Electronic Services Order, so that some services will be displayed at top or bottom within these individual categories (Fulfillment Configuration > Discovery Interface Display Logic). However, all the Online Services always display above all the General Electronic Services. We would like to be able to modify this default, to move a single (or all) GES above the Online Services in ViewIt display.   11. Analytics for count of resource sharing requests made via Course Reserves citations

    We'd like to be able to see analytics data for resource sharing requests placed via Course Reserves citations. We are told by Support that this is not currently supported, and it was suggested that we create an idea here.

  12. Customize the Register/Update User (Quick User Management) screen/window

    Watching a Primo demo complete with a discussion on how the view was customized, made me wonder if certain areas in Fulfillment could be customized. Is it possible to customized/configure the Register/Update User (Quick User Management) screen/window depending upon the role of the user? For instance a Circulation Assistant or Student Assistant would see only a limited number of fields (of course all the mandatory ones) whereas an Admin would see all the fields?

  13. Reduce the number of recurring order types.

    The number of recurring order types is confusing and causes issues not only when ordering new serials but when processing them. Even Ex Libris staff often have trouble explaining the differences between standing order types and if we need to change an order type someone with the authorization has to run a job. The operational differences don't make sense. Reports can easily distinguish between different order types from the Material type and Reporting Codes fields.
    This change would make recurring order management much simpler and more efficient.

  14. View members or results button from Set Details page

    When looking at the list of sets on the Manage sets page, it is sometimes necessary to click into the Set Details to view the description or notes to make sure that it is the correct set that I want to work with. To then view the members, it takes three more clicks: 1) go back to the manage sets screen 2) right click or click the ellipsis button 3) click the members or results option on the dropdown menu. It would be really nice if on the Set details page there were a button to view either the members…

  15. Enable opting out of automatic deletion of unused labels in Resource Sharing

    It should be possible to opt out of automatic deletion of unused labels. For example, we have a label "To be Checked" which is used frequently and we aim to remove it from all records by the end of every working day. The automatic deletion means that we have to re-enter the label the next day as there are usually no records left with the label.

  16. Recent Material suppliers in drop-down

    Currently, when creating new orders in Alma staff users don't get a list of the most recent Material suppliers but only an alphabetical list of all of them.
    It would be useful to see 1-2 most recent suppliers in the drop-down in order to gain some time when acquiring multiple books from the same suppliers.

  17. Ability to edit label names

    I would like to be able to edit label names as you can't delete or remove old ones if they are in use. Ability to edit the name so it will change on all records using it wold be useful.

  18. Improve E-Resource Activation Task handling for additional copy ebook orders

    Currently when an additional copy of an already active ebook is ordered, there is no e-resource task added to the Electronic Resource Activation Task List, since the resource is already active. However, we add interested users to almost all of our ebooks, and if there is no activation task, the interested users are never being notified.

    If the ebook order is already on an active item, it would be nice if the interested users would automatically be notified, or just have an e-resource activation task added as normal to fulfill the process of notifying the interested users.

  19. Display 'suppressed bib' icon consistently in every Alma context.

    I'm looking at a list of portfolios in Alma, many linking to suppressed bibs. None of those portfolios whose bibs are suppressed display the 'eye with a line through it'-icon (which should also maybe include alt text for screen readers?)

    How about making suppressed-ness sticky throughout the UI, with a baked-in rule to protect exceptions. (ARE there exceptions?)

  20. Customize letter to allow for item-replacement_cost

    Add @@itemreplacementcost@@ to Ful Lost Loan letter and also Courtesy letter to motivate students to return expensive items. Currently if the label is not listed as a @@label@@ then I would
    not be be able to customize letter as needed.
