rename "Draft" status during ledger rollover
When you run the "Rollover Ledgers" job, you can choose either "Draft" or "Active":
• If you choose "Draft," Alma creates a ledger with status "Inactive"
• If you choose "Active," Alma creates a ledger with status "Active""Draft" should be renamed "Inactive" in the ledger rollover menu because it creates an inactive ledger, not a draft ledger.
This is a problem because many staff mistakenly think choosing "Draft" will roll over the ledger in report mode. This is a reasonable assumption since report mode is available for PO line rollover.

Make physical item templates available in receiving workflow
The new physical item templates look super useful. However, the vast majority of our new items are added as part of our receiving workflow, so they do us little good currently. Can the physical item templates be made available as part of the receiving workflow?

Improve "Select all" search results selection
When running a search within Alma, we have the option to "Select All", at which point we can accomplish various tasks like "Push selected to MDE" (for a Physical Titles search), "Add to Itemized Set" and "Create Itemized Set" (for a Physical Items search), etc.
However, when clicking "Select All", this only selects the results on that page of results, which is capped at 50. If you create a search with many pages of results, you would have to take action on each page individually. Clicking "Select All" should actually select all results, not just the results on that page--or…

Add barcodes to an items available facets in customize view.
When viewing items in Alma, it would be nice to add an items barcode as an available facet to see. All other impertinent item information is available (call number, title, author, etc.)besides item barcodes.

Retain loosing accounts identifier in all IZ and NZ after a merge
After merging two accounts the primary identifier of the loser account can only be found in those IZs via the search in which it was also merged manually. In such cases, the message that the two accounts have been merged is added to the Notes of the winner account; including the primary identifier of the loser account.
We think this information should appear in the NZ as well as in all other IZs so that it can be tracked which accounts have been merged. This is important, for example, in cases where fines and fees in Alma have been closed,…25 votes -
Disable the license terms from cascading down from POL to electronic collections and portfolios
The current situation is that after attaching a license to a PO Line, this license will override the license(s) originally attached to the electronic collections and the portfolios. We have 5000+ Chinese ebooks that come with a wide range of number of concurrent users. While we can update them using the 'Run a Job' function, but once the POL that is connected with the electronic collection is updated, it will override the license terms we have for the individual ebooks. Lost in Transit Items Alert
I would love it if we could get an alert sent to the task list widget for staff in charge of fulfillment when an item has been in transit too long ("too long" as defined by the institution could be set somewhere in config settings). This would then alert the staff member to check shelves, and if not found on local shelves, contact the other institution to ask them to check theirs. If the staff member alerted wanted someone else to follow up on things, they could assign it to another user.

Need job to force POLs out of Claims status
Over the years, many items of all resource types have fallen into Claims for one reason or another. For the purposes of cleaning up records, Alma should have a job that enables Acquisitions managers to force POLs out of Claim status, even for closed fiscal periods or POLs that are closed. The inability to move an item out of Claim due to it not following the strict receiving process is very inconvenient and makes the Claims function almost useless when its so cluttered.

Allow internal users to have a phone number as default required field (not email)
We have a mix of internal users, some community users do not have email addresses. We find that it is nearly impossible to set up Alma accounts for them when they do not have an email. We would like to have the option to set those users to have a default phone number as the required contact field and the ability to print on demand any notifications they may be.

Disable Electronic Activation Tasklist
It would be helpful to have the option to disable/enable the electronic activation tasklist. Whether or not the tasklist is incorporated into local workflows, the tasklist continues to grow with resources as they are ordered from the community zone. This leads to a very bloated tasklist with no clean way to clear items from the tasklist (i.e. resources that have already been ordered and received/activated remain on this list).
In a case with ExL (06794492) it was confirmed that items from the tasklist cannot be cleared in batch and each resource needs to be manually deleted.

update expiry from booking
For bookings, it is possible to update expiry from the request list in the user account, but it would be very practical to have this option in the active and expired hold shelves item lists for bookings, too.

renewal reminder
Is it possible to add the name of the e-collection to the POL renewal reminder email? the current reminder is generic and doesn't have any information in the email to let us know which collection is being renewed. most of the e-collections I have in the network zone, are Electronic Collection -> Subscription. the email reminders are not really helpful without the name.

Improve access to Developer Network by consortial staff
Currently the Developer Network requires unique email addresses for accounts, even across different institutions. This prevents our central office staff from having one developer network account, with their real email address, to use across our consortium.
Instead, they're forced to create multiple accounts, with bogus email addresses or no email addresses at all, in order to have access to multiple institutions Developer Network accounts. And, as we understand it, bogus or missing email addresses mean that the Multi Factor Authentication can not be used.

Create a set from records held in the Metadata Editor
It would be useful to be able to save all of the records that you are working on in the metadata editor as a set to come back to later.
For example, this would be helpful when working on a bound with where you need to work on several records at the same time and need to add links across the records. Please, let us use the full power of rft_dat / pid again!
rftdat (OpenURL 1.0) and pid (OpenURL 0.1), respectively, is one of if not the most powerful OpenURL field(s) and SFX allowed the customer to make full use of this power. It's such a shame for the Alma link resolver not even being able to parse a local identifier from rftdat / pid in cases when these parameters contain anything else than just the identifier (like in rftdat=<GVI>BV012345678</GVI>). So please allow regular expressions to define a pattern for a substring to extract from the value passed in rftdat / pid.

Add Available From/To dates (in General Tab) to Extended Export/Portfolio loader
The Available From/To fields in the portfolios general tab are currently not included in the portfolio extended export. Nor is it possible to populate the fields using the portfolio loader spreadsheet.
This makes it impossible to identify if these fields are populated in a portfolio without using Analytics. These fields should be included in Extended Export to make it easier to find, and should be available for the Portfolio Loader to make it easier to populate.14 votes -

Subtotal multiple allocated fund values on an invoice (for multiple invoice lines)
We often use multiple allocated funds for different invoice lines on the same invoice. When I am trying to compare with our financial system, I have to manually subtotal the amounts per fund to make sure it matches the cost center values. If the subtotal of all allocated funds used on an invoice (different invoice lines) could be present on the invoice lines tab or summary tab, that would be very helpful.
