Allow deleting or editing a manually packaged PO without deleting all the POLs
There needs to be a way to delete a manually packaged PO without also deleting all the POLs associated with that PO. I can understand not allowing this if the PO is closed, but if the PO is only in "sent," then it should be allowable to either delete that PO without also deleting all the associated POLs OR allow editing that PO to attach additional POLs to that PO. This would essentially be the same logic when manually creating an invoice in Alma: it's possible to add as many POLs as needed when creating an invoice in Alma by…

Retrieve metadata available in MARC-XML also in JSON
When requesting "bib", all metadata should be available as JSON. Most fields are by now represented as a MARC-XML string, bundled into a field called "anies".

Add API support for read/update/add/delete contact e-mails in Organization units: library, Institution Zone
Use case: Library / IZ contact e-mails are used in many workflows as the e-mail sender for letters generated in Alma. In our network (31 IZs), we are running a consortia mail server. As part of the configuration, we moved the library and IZ contact e-mails to our consortia domain. For example, library@abc.ch is now library-abc@swisscovery.net. This means changing the configuration of each library contact e-mail in the IZ to a different e-mail address and adding a description.
Initially, we made these changes manually. However, as e-mails can change, we have to maintain these changes. In addition, these e-mails…23 votes -
Enable fines and fees to be searchable by barcode
Search in a Patrons Account
I know you can search by barcode in a patron's loans; however, it is not an option when searching in Fines and Fees. Is this something that could be added?5 votes -
update expiry from booking
For bookings, it is possible to update expiry from the request list in the user account, but it would be very practical to have this option in the active and expired hold shelves item lists for bookings, too.

Display of refund message of lost (overdue and billed item)
When an item has been billed for replacement. Then that item is scanned in (returned) a message pops-up that says the fee has been refunded.
I am aware that this is based on the refund ration as part of the terms of use. We have our TOU set for 100% refund.
The issue is that some fees get sent to bursars. When that happens the fee is not automatically removed (either from ALMA or bursars) upon check in. In addition the library may decide not to refund any or part of the fee that has gone to bursars.
However, when…3 votes -
ADD RECORDS TO SETS
Be able to add selected records to a set that's already created. There is often multiple ways to find records that are part of a group. It seems there's no ability to do a search and select records to add to a set that's already in existence. This could also help if multiple people are trying to find a large number of records that could belong to one set for export or modification.

Request limit
It will be useful to limit the number of request for a specific library. Likewise for loan limits.
If an institution has more than one library then it may want, for example, to allow a patron to borrow from several of them. Then the order limit should be correspondingly larger. However, if the loan limit is larger than the request limit, this situation can be confusing for the user. For example - a patron has a request limit of 10, and loan limit 5 in Library A and 5 in Library B. However, for the moment he can request 10…19 votes -
Manage Purchase Requests [Acquisitions > Purchase Requests > Manage Purchase Requests] menu
All user purchase requests are directed to the 'Unassigned' tab in the "Manage Purchase Requests" menu. It seems that this could be somewhat inconvenient for the staff handling acquisitions. Therefore, we would like to propose two suggestions. ① Enable the selection of multiple items within the 'Unassigned' tab for bulk assignment, either to oneself ('Assigned to Me') or to another staff ('Assigned to Others'). ② We would like purchase requests to be automatically assigned to the appropriate staff member based on the MARC format or vendor selected during the request.3 votes -
bluk edit vendor information
There is some information in vendor records which could be the same for all vendors, such as library, vendor type, whether to make vendors active or inactive, delivery claim information, etc. It would be great if there were a way to edit these details for multiple vendors at one time rather than going through each vendor to change their information.

Allow Alma users to choose the match routine when using the ‘Link to Community’ tool to link portfolios to a community zone collection.
The ‘Link to Community’ match routine for matching local portfolios to the CZ is too restrictive. We would like to be able to use our local bibliographic records and have them link to portfolios in the CZ, however, the match rate is dependent on what metadata is available in the CZ records, which are often brief and do not contain the ISSN/ISBN match point that Ex Libris has selected for that collection in the CZ.
Alma users should be able to choose the match routine when using the ‘Link to Community’ tool, similar to how we can choose the match…64 votes -
Make the labels feature in ILL/Resource sharing a preconfigured list that staff have to choose from.
We suggest an enhancement to the Labels feature within Resource Sharing/ILLs area of Alma, so that staff have to select labels from a preconfigured list/dropdown menu? At present, it is a free text field, that creates a new label any time it is entered in a slightly different format or spelling. This makes it hard to keep the labels tidy as variations and spelling errors can occur and makes stats collection more difficult.

Need more facets electonic collection search
When searching for items in the CZ, I find the left side facets and sort by options to be too limited.
Would love a way to sort electronic collections by most recently added to CZ.
for example, I am looking to see if any new gale collections were added so I can activate them. There is no way to sort by this, and there is no facet on the left to limit to non-activated collections. Adding a left facet to search for In IZ or activated/non-activated collections would be very helpful.1 vote -
ALMA interface - Why unnecessary steps to edit a holding?
Dear colleagues, regarding Alma interface, it would be highly useful that the option EDIT HOLDINGS had a 1-step shortcut. It is pretty annoying to continuously click 3 times to open de item in order to work on it. Thank you for your attention.

Add filters and columns to import profiles screens for zone, protocol, scheduling, status
The Import Profiles screen has few options for narrowing the list of profiles if one isn't certain of the profile name, or if descriptions are too similar. Please add filters and columns to the display screen--preferably sortable columns--for fields that distinguish the zone, scheduling, and status for import profiles.
Priority 1, Zone: Users should be able to clearly see whether an import profile is using the network zone or the institution zone for an import profile, as this affects the workflow and processing of records being imported.
Priority 2, Status: While the Active/Inactive status of a profile may be useful…

Provide a way to duplicate a terms of use
This is especially a pain point when you are starting in Alma. When libraries are tweaking circulation rules, often you need to create a new terms of use as part of that, but what you really are doing is taking an existing terms of use and setting a new one up in the same except for one or two policies that are different. Right now, you have to have the TOUs in different tabs to make sure all the right values are matching, when having the ability to copy and then edit an existing TOU would save a bunch of…

Treat invoices created from Excel as distinct from manually created invoices for the purpose of creating invoice review rules
Currently, invoices that are created from Excel spreadsheets are considered to be created manually. We want to be able to create invoice review rules (https://knowledge.exlibrisgroup.com/Alma/Product_Documentation/010Alma_Online_Help_(English)/020Acquisitions/040Configuring_Acquisitions/100Configuring_Invoice_Review_Rules) that set invoices created from Excel files to a status of 'in review' and those that are created manually by staff to 'in approval'. In order to do this, we need to be able to distinguish between invoices created manually by staff and those created from Excel files.

Alma - Analytics - Users - Add field 'Has password' true/false
Sometimes users may have no password set. For example, in our system we have some internally managed users left with no password when Alma switched to external IDP. Filtering them in Analytics would be useful, but currently there is no way to do so.
Please add Add field 'Has password' true/false in Alma Analytics Users dimension.
