Alma APIs Multilingual Code-tables
We’d like to request an enhancement to the Alma API that would allow PUT and POST requests to include translation updates. Currently, only GET requests support the lang parameter for retrieving localized data, while updates ignore these descriptions. Enabling translation updates via API would streamline content management across languages, making it easier to keep localized information current and consistent.
Updating code tables for around 80 patron-facing letters in three different languages via the web UI is extremely time-consuming and inefficient. Allowing translation updates through the API would greatly improve this process, making Alma more effective for multilingual institutions.

Pop-up window with information about blocks and reader's fees when create a request
It would be helpful if, when filling out the user request form in Alma, a pop-up window with information about the users's blocks and financial obligations appeared when their card number was entered.
A pop-up window exactly like the one that opens when you open a patron's account using the “Manage Patron Services” option.This solution would allow the users to be immediately informed of their obligations and avoid being sent from one station to another.

Physically Received by Library
It should be possible to change the status of a Borrowing Request to Digitally Received by Library from Physically Received by Library or vice-versa, if the wrong Format was received. Currently, it is impossible to create a barcode if the item was Digitally Received.

Allow keyboard shortcuts/hot keys to be configurable
Allow for the creation of keyboard shortcut/hot key profiles that will support re-mapping of shortcuts. Some of the preset shortcut are not currently available due to the removal of function keys by manufacturers.

Eliminate the confirmation step when editing item records.
The process of receiving journal items is unnecessarily slowed down by having to confirm every single edit. Clicking on "Save" should be enough to get the job done. Breaking out Receive as a separate step has already added a step to the process. Please consider any and all ways of reducing the amount of time spent looking at blue spinning circles. Thank you.

Renewal Operator in Analytics
It would be useful to include Renewal Operator details in the Fulfillment Analysis area on Alma Analytics. This would allow us to identify and report on the number of renewals that took place at the circulation desk, via self service or via Primo.

Make the email that is generated when an ILLiad resource sharing partner exports a request to a third party customizable
Unfortunately, ILLiad's email import feature does not always import emails generated by Alma properly. This happens mainly when there is a copyright symbol in the requested item's publication date. Giving us the ability to remove the publication date field from the email generated by Alma would help us manage this issue until OCLC and Atlas Systems can find a proper fix.

Trials : when a participant reopens a survey form, the replys already submitted should display
At the moment, when a participant reopens a survey form he already submitted, all the answers are empty.
If he fills in again the survey form, at the end, when submitting his answers the second time, a warning message displays (do you want to submit again ?)
We consider that this warning is too late in the workflow.So our request is : when a trial participant has filled in a survey form, if he reopens the same survey form later, this one should display the answers already submitted.

Enhance Report to ExLibris ticket fields within Alma
Enhance the Report To ExLibris form in Alma with the following so that it matches the tickets submitted via SalesForce:
Contact Name field: defaults to whomever is logged in/made the default contact if there is no match. Ex: if Person B is logged into Alma and is configured to report from Alma, they are the default when submitting a problem, not Person A (which is currently listed first because its an alphabetical listing). This would help staff to submit tickets faster and without having to go into SalesForce after submitting to change the name.

Allow a staff to set his/her default department
We are required to choose a "current desk/department" for each login. However, since each staff usually has his/her major role, meaning he/she might most of the time work on the same desk/department. To be more friendly, it's better to have staff to set his/her own default department and select other location when necessary.

Fulfillment Configuration Utility for resource sharing
I would like Fulfillment Configuration Utility to also work for Resource Sharing. Or a separate service for RS.
It is invaluable in troubleshooting.
This service could be a light in the dark cave that is RS.

Move general email feature outside of the User's form
The General Email function is currently located inside the form for updating general information in the user record.
If there are any problems with missing mandatory data in the form then the email cannot be used at all.
Since it is unrelated to user general information I would suggest that the Send Message function should be located outside of the user data area perhaps up near the buttons "Toggle Account Type", "Open for Update". (See screenshot)

Relay that job report gives real time
We have more than one jobs that start at certain time and ran for long time (more than 10 hours) but reports the job ran only for about 3 hours.
You can see SFC #00795696 for example.

Fix Analytics request creator field to stop it changing to Alma staff primary ID when request cancelled on Alma
When a user places a request on Primo, the ‘creator’ field in the Analytics requests table shows as ‘System’. When a request is placed by a staff member on Alma, the staff member’s primary ID shows in the creator field.
If a request placed by a user on Primo is subsequently cancelled by a staff member on Alma, the creator field changes from System to the staff member’s primary ID. This means reporting on requests placed on Primo vs. requests placed by staff members on Alma is not accurate and the field is misleading (creator should refer only to creator).

Delay for hold notification - up to 5 digits
Even if a library is closed to the public, the staff are working.
When they scan a returned loan, a notification is sent but the patron cannot retrieve his document due to the closed library.
It would be beneficial for us to be able to delay the notification for a week.
We would like to get up to 5 digits the delay for hold notification. Currently, it's 3 digits max, 999 minutes (16 hours).19 votes -

Analytics - make History tab in User Records indexed & searchable
We have been informed by Ex Libris that when a User Record is updated, either with an API or via the Alma interface, then those fields updated will not be updated with the daily SIS feed. They are considered "manual" changes and are therefore, locked. Now, in the history tab of User Records, you can see the changes made and by whom, but we have been told this information is not available in Analytics and the only way to know who has these locked fields is as we come across them. Monitor Requests & Item Process Activity Status Filter
Add Activity Status: Rejected to "Monitor Requests & Item Processes"
It would be extremely helpful to have the Activity Status Rejected on the "Monitor Requests & Item Processes" Activity Status Filters. If it could be added as an option with Active, Completed and All, that would remove a ton of extra time and labor for our fulfillment processes.19 votes -
Make PO line Rollover Job work dependent on ledger and possibly fund codes.
User Story. Currently we our Acquisition team have a different set of ledgers to our Subscription team. When we do a Rollover of funds and ledgers this is not an issue. However, when we are trying to test the PO Rollover it is difficult to separate out the PO Lines that are for the Acquisitions Rollover and the Subscriptions Rollover.
Solution - It would be better if you could only roll over PO lines that were attach to a specific ledger (and possible set of fund codes). So that we could run the Acquisition rollover separately to the Subscriptions rollover.19 votes -
Add Normalized Call Numbers to eBook & eJournal Analytic Reports
Many academic departments ask for accreditation reports that count resources available for students. We typically use Library of Congress Call Number ranges from the OCLC conspectus to get counts of resources. The report runs well for all physical items. However, eBooks and eJournals (both ubiquitous to our collection) do not have normalized call numbers as a part of an analytics report. Therefore the counts of titles between a range of Call Numbers is not correct.
