Please allow manual reordering of record fields inside the MDE, particularly Dublin Core records.
Within Alma search results, dc:creator doesn't display accurately if dc:contributor fields are present. Alma's internal logic displays the final dc:creator or dc:contributor field from the record as the primary creator within search results by digital title. There is no way to force a save or to "lock" the fields in the record within the Metadata Editor to accept dc:creator as a field AFTER dc:contributor. Upon "Save", the dc:creator is always reordered above dc:contributor. This has led to staff confusion when searching within Alma.

Compare Sets via Overlap and Collection Analysis tool
Provide the ability to compare the results (either itemized or logical) or two sets of the same type (physical items, physical titles, all titles, etc.) created by the user.
For example, we're trying to decide which of the two sets created by two library staff is a better set for sending our holdings to GOBI. The results of each set are well over 350k titles. These sets are too large to download and manage a local comparison. So, could Alma's Overlap and Collection Analysis Tool be modified to compare items across two different sets? Analytics Authorities Locals Deletes
We need an analytics report for deleted authorities in which we can determine the type of vocabulary it belongs to. We made an incident on the Alma support portal "10583316", and they gave us this explanation and suggest us to report a new idea:
"The Analytics behavior for authorities is that the vocabulary code is not displayed for deleted authority records. Short Loan Letter Timing
It would be great if the trigger timing for the Short Loan Letter was modified or an option was added to only trigger after 1/5/10 minutes of transactions.
Example right now it is triggered by each item scanned, so I can check out 3 short term items at the same time, and then get 3 emails back to back, one for each item. It would be better if there was an option to send the notice for all short term items checked out in 1 minute or 5 minutes.

Add Kortext to the list of vendors for Autoholdings
As many institutions in Germany need to switch to Kortext, it would be very helpful if ExLibris could add Kortext to the list of vendors for Autoholdings.

Add a Remediation Status/Step to the Digitization Workflow
Alma's digitization process has no built-in status or step for accessibility remediation before a digitization request is delivered to a patron. Alma customers adhering to WCAG 2.1 AA under Title II ADA compliance for document delivery have no internal way to flag, route, or track items that need remediation (e.g., OCR correction, tagging, reading order) before fulfillment.
We'd like to see a dedicated "Remediation" status added to the digitization workflow, allowing staff to route an item for accessibility review before it's marked complete and delivered. This would let Alma customers track remediation volume and turnaround time via Analytics and support…

Display of refund message of lost (overdue and billed item)
When an item has been billed for replacement. Then that item is scanned in (returned) a message pops-up that says the fee has been refunded.
I am aware that this is based on the refund ration as part of the terms of use. We have our TOU set for 100% refund.
The issue is that some fees get sent to bursars. When that happens the fee is not automatically removed (either from ALMA or bursars) upon check in. In addition the library may decide not to refund any or part of the fee that has gone to bursars.

Allow Resource Sharing Request status as displayed in user account to be customizable
When viewing resource sharing requests in a patrons account the system truncates the request status description. For example status of Ready to be sent is truncated to Ready. Desk staff (not always those who work directly with RS requests) see Ready they assume the item is available for pick up. While we can train staff given the large number of staff and turnover, ensuring everyone knows and retains the information about what those truncated status descriptions mean is a nearly impossible task. Alma Mobile: scan in sort order and remove automatic active curser
Two suggestions that would greatly improve the workflow in the Alma Mobile app.
First, please stop placing an active cursor in the barcode field when switching to Scan In from the Pick from Shelf area.
When the cursor is active in the input field, it automatically opens the keyboard on the phone. As a result, I have to close the keyboard every time before I can access the button used to scan a barcode with the camera.
Secondly, please make it possible to sort scanned-in items in either ascending or descending order.

Add facets to left side when working with electronic collections and portfolios
The current facets for electronic collections are limited to material type. I would like to see a facet to filter by activated/non-activated collections and portfolios. Two use cases:
1. Activated collection, missing a few portfolios in our IZ because did not have auto add turned on. If I go to the CZ version, there is no way to easily see the unactivated portfolios in that collection so I can activate them. had to page through 17 pages to find the few titles that were not activated.

Enable configuration of character limits in mandatory fields for request forms to prevent blank spaces on mandatory fields
We have had issues with users submitting blank details in request forms. Specifically Home address, which we need if we are to deliver items to them.
For privacy reasons we do not hold patrons addresses in the system and ask for them as part of the request form.
Even if we set the field as mandatory users can enter a space and still submit the form.
We would like to be able to configure character limits or character minimums for mandatory fields.

MDE Release displayed records in list send back to previous screen
When clicking the Release displayed records in the list the entire list is cleared. That functionality should not only clear the list, but also close MDE to return to the previous screen.
There are too many clicks involved to get back to what you were doing previously.

Convert "request communicated to storage" to resource sharing
When a request has the status of "Request Communicated to Storage," there should be an option to convert the request to a Resource Sharing Request.
If an item cannot be located in the ARS, it stays at the "Request Communicated to Storage" status until the item is marked missing or the request is cancelled. When the item is marked missing, the request is also cancelled. There should be a way to convert these to Resource Sharing first, as we do with other items that can't be located.

Job to update 'Retention note' needs to provide 'append to field' option
We need to be able to add to existing Retention Notes via the ‘Change Physical items information’ Job, without losing what was already in the note.
Idea is to add the ‘append to field’ condition option, when running a Job to update field ‘Retention Note’.
In the physical item editor, the Retention Note is a free-text field. It can be updated via a job, but the conditions for this field are missing the option to ‘append to field’ i.e. there is no ability to retain any text already in the field, and add to it via the job.

Searching in Resource Sharing requests by more than one parameter
It should be possible to search Resource Sharing Borrowing and Lending requests by more than one parameter for example: Requester + Title or Requester + Journal Title or Author + Title to prevent duplicate requests.

Expired requests available in Analytics
I would like to pull statistics on the number of requests that expired without being picked up in a given time frame. Expired is not a hold status available in the Requests subject area. Currently, the only way to get this data is to create a Fulfillment report of Loans from Holds, create a Requests report to find the number of holds placed, and then subtract to get the remainder that expired. This is tedious and creates opportunities for errors; it would be better to be able to get the needed information from the Requests subject area.
