Physical Item Hold Requests
Multi site library - prevent users from placing a physical item hold request on items that are available on the shelf of the library they are placing the hold request from - if the item is not available on the shelf but a copy is available at a different location then placing a physical item hold request should be allowed.

Expand Course Reserves Facet/Advanced Search Functionality
When working in Reading Lists and Courses the facet filtering limits staff to a single selection in a category at time. However, many institutions have multiple terms or staff liaisons serving more than one academic department. In such cases, it would be quite helpful to allow staff to select multiple facets. The inability to multi-select prevents staff and their managers from being able view the whole picture and effectively managing the work.
If that’s not possible, we’d like to request that you expand the advanced search options for reading lists, courses, and citations to make all of the facet options…

Configure the User Services page to include statistical information
On the User Services page, when we are looking at a user's data, we can see the Notes and some other basic data. It would be interesting to be able to choose which of the user data we want to see here. Specifically, we are interested in including statistical data.

Add primary/user id of a Interested User as a Fund Expenditure Facet
Several Institutions have use cases that require the need to find the Primary ID of an interested User. This would allow an easier means of utilizing feeder reports in conjunction with the Fulfilment Subject Area. Currently, there is no easy way to obtain this information. Credit goes to Jihyun Song of Soul National Unversity for presenting this issue.

Statistics for Cloud Apps
We would like to be able to see some statistics within our IZ regarding Cloud Apps:
- Which user has activated which Cloud App
- How often is a Cloud App used
- When did a user use a specific Cloud App

Trial Feedback in POLine
Currently Trials are created from the POLine but once a trial is evaluated and closed only a single note appears in the POLine saying "Decision to purchase at this time" if approved.
It would be helpful if a trial information could be added to the POLine either as a Tab that includes the Summary and Analysis of the trial or as a Link on the Side Bar the same as the PO

Reminder notification for licenses due to expire
We have licenses that will expire in X number of years. It would be good to have an option for Alma to send out reminders/notifications (e.g. email) for licenses that are due to expire

Hide Pickup Location on Blank ILL Article/Book Chapter Request Form
The Blank ILL article/book chapter request form requires users to select a pickup location. Many libraries do not offer pickup options for articles, they are all delivered electronically. There should be an option to turn off the required pickup location for the Blank ILL article/book chapter request form.

SUMIF function for Alma Analytics
There is currently no way to do a SUMIF function within Alma Analytics. In Excel, a formula like =SUMIF(A:A, A2, B:B) will perform the following operation: it will look for duplicates in the first column and if present, sum the numbers in the second column and output them in the third column. This is particularly helpful when trying to determine something like the total number of serial volumes per library (or some similar metric) without using the subtotal function. The subtotal function creates an additional row at the end of each unique set of instances instead of putting this data…

Increase time in which the "reset password" link is valid
The link that is sent to patrons to reset the Primo-password is only valid for one hour. We would like to be able to configure this duration, as it appears to be rather short. Our patrons often miss this timeframe and have to resent the link.

Rollover PO lines that are fully invoiced but not paid
Example:
1. A PO is created and gets fully invoiced in mid-December.
2. In January the fiscal period closure happens. Said PO does not get rolled over (as it's fully invoiced).
3. Sometime later in January the invoice gets paid.The conflict lies in step 3: In Alma the payment is linked to the fund from the old year, while our financial department actually payed it from the fund of the new year.
One possible solution would be in step 2 to also allow rollover of PO lines that are fully invoiced but not paid yet.

Override patron physical item request Limit
There is a Max. physical item requests in Patron Limits.
However there doesn't appear to be an ability to allow staff to override this limit, which from time to time they need to do.
I propose that there is a parameter that allows staff with a particular role the ability to override this limit.1 vote -
Add permanent location code or name to fulfillment analytics
Under Alma Analytics we want to request that Ex Libris add the field of permanent location code or name to the fulfillment area of analytics. We need to be able to grab the count of items in a library and how many of those items (held) in that library have circulated by any mean (resource sharing, digitization, loan, etc.). The current table allows us to pull what circulation desk they circulated from. That is not entirely accurate as we allow items to be delivered and circulated from any circulation desk on campus. Add feature to change the background dark and the letters white in Alma
Please develop a way to change the background dark and the letters white. Reworded in hopes of getting an update on the previous idea from 2019. At that time it was stated this feature would be on a future roadmap, but we haven't seen anything yet. This is an important feature for those of us who spend a lot of our work time in Alma.

Bulk add perpetual access dates
We would like to be able to add perpetual access dates in bulk to individual portfolios. This functionality would be helpful for tracking perpetual access on packages/bundles where a large number of portfolios share a common start and/or end date.

Allow Alma to export preferred names to ILLiad when automatically creating ILLiad user records
When Alma automatically created an ILLiad user record for someone who has submitted a resource sharing request that must be exported to ILLiad, it always passes the First Name and Last Name fields to ILLiad even if the user's records contains a Preferred First Name and/or Preferred Last Name. It would be incredibly helpful if Alma could pass preferred names to ILLiad if the user's record contains any preferred names.

Ubicación temporal no prestable. Gestión de reservas
Al escanear un libro con reserva, ubicado en una localización temporal, Alma automáticamente activa la reserva y envía un correo electrónico al usuario, indicando que el libro está disponible en el estante de reservas activa.

From 'view vendor' list in POL, add '+' capability to Add Vendor?
Right now one has to either search vendor before order entry, or gamble that the vendor is already in the database and just try entering the POL. But then, if the vendor is NOT in the database, one has to back all the way out, add the vendor, and then start over.
It would be great to have an 'add vendor record' link right there, with a 'back' button to finish the POL in progress, That would really minimize workflow interruptions during the POL entry process. Might others find this helpful? If you hate stopping, navving somewhere else in…

Fulfillment Network Users get roles assigned by Role Assignment Rules
Network Zone/Fulfillment network users get roles scoped to our institution zone by the role assignment rules, which makes it appear that they have access to user and financial and other data of our institution, even if they don't.
I propose changing the behavior so that users who are not local, and from another institution are ignored by the role assignment rules.

Allow re-ordering of categories (Online Services; GES) within ViewIt area
It is currently possible to modify the Online Services Order and General Electronic Services Order, so that some services will be displayed at top or bottom within these individual categories (Fulfillment Configuration > Discovery Interface Display Logic). However, all the Online Services always display above all the General Electronic Services. We would like to be able to modify this default, to move a single (or all) GES above the Online Services in ViewIt display.
