Make bulk job reports explain why individual records were skipped
When a bulk job finishes, please provide a downloadable report for records that were skipped or failed. For each record, the report could include its ID, the attempted action, the reason it was not changed, and a suggested next step where possible.
This would help library staff distinguish records that need correction from records that were intentionally left unchanged, without opening each record individually.

Consortia Dashboard for Normalization Rules
It would be helpful for Alma consortia to have a centralized dashboard where Network Zone administrators can view Normalization Rules configured at both NZ and IZ levels.
The dashboard could display:
• Normalization rule name and NZ/IZ ownership
• Corresponding normalization processes
• Import profiles or other workflows using the rule
• Last modified date
• Filters for institution, rule, and process

Ability to de-activate collections with EasyActive setting
Once you have chosen EasyActive over FullyFlexible, there is no way to switch back (https://knowledge.exlibrisgroup.com/Alma/Product_Documentation/010Alma_Online_Help_(English)/Electronic_Resource_Management/070Alma_Single_Activation_Source_for_CDI/020Single_Activation_with_the_EasyActive_Setting). However, at the time of switching there is no way of knowing what future collections will be added, and all CDI records of future collections will be returned in an unfiltered Primo search. For various reasons, we have had to switch to a default unfiltered search in Primo and now results are flooded with CDI records, some not of good quality. Color coded pop-ups
It would be great if the various pop-ups in Alma on return or scan in would be color coded for additional indication of what needs to happen to an item.
Example - Transit item could be a green box, and a fulfillment note could be yellow.

Allow Saved Excel Export Profiles Without Changing Alma’s Screen View
Alma should allow users to create and select saved Excel export profiles that are separate from the Customize view used for the Alma screen display.
The current problem is that if I customize and save a limited view to make an Excel export smaller, my normal Alma screen view also stays limited. That is not what I need. I need my regular full screen view for daily work, but I also need a separate smaller export profile for reports.
Staff should not have to limit their everyday Alma display just to create a clean, narrow Excel export.Example:

Job to update 'Retention note' needs to provide 'append to field' option
We need to be able to add to existing Retention Notes via the ‘Change Physical items information’ Job, without losing what was already in the note.
Idea is to add the ‘append to field’ condition option, when running a Job to update field ‘Retention Note’.
In the physical item editor, the Retention Note is a free-text field. It can be updated via a job, but the conditions for this field are missing the option to ‘append to field’ i.e. there is no ability to retain any text already in the field, and add to it via the job.

Sort options and filters on item sets (from an imported file)
Why are there no sorting options on Sets?
I would like to sort according to the data within the set such as barcodes or title or call numbers. And i would like the list to not re-order once an item is removed from the set.

Integrated peer-to-peer chat and collaboration network within Alma
Establishing direct and agile communication between institutions using Alma would significantly improve daily workflows and collaborative problem-solving. Currently, exchanging specific information with librarian colleagues at other universities regarding day-to-day Acquisitions tasks (workflows, vendor issues, best practices) is complex and inefficient. Convert "request communicated to storage" to resource sharing
When a request has the status of "Request Communicated to Storage," there should be an option to convert the request to a Resource Sharing Request.
If an item cannot be located in the ARS, it stays at the "Request Communicated to Storage" status until the item is marked missing or the request is cancelled. When the item is marked missing, the request is also cancelled. There should be a way to convert these to Resource Sharing first, as we do with other items that can't be located.

Include Entry-Level Primo Indexing for Bloomsbury Encyclopedia of Popular Music of the World
According to the CDI coverage list (new one here https://knowledge.exlibrisgroup.com/@api/deki/files/210988/CDI_collection_list_alma_07-09-26.xlsx?revision=1) it looks like Bloomsbury Encyclopedia of Popular Music of the World via our purchase of the Bloomsbury Popular Music Collection/Bloomsbury Music & Sound is Book Chapter level, which does not mean much in a search. We would like Bloomsbury Encyclopedias to have entry level indexing so that a user who searches for a topic will be directed to that specific entry to the Encyclopedia.

Reinstate Add item and Add item from template menu options/buttons in New Physical Items experience
In the New Physical Items Experience, the "Add item" and "Add item from template" options are missing from the Title items list page when conducting an All Titles or Physical Titles search. The options are still present when conducting a Physical Holdings search.

Analytics - Allow copy and paste from reports/results
Once a report is run and the results are only two or three objects, allow copy and paste functionality - its not needed to always export a report to fix the problem.

MDE & Sets - Send to MDE should offer options to send bibs or holdings for editing
When working with sets, it would be very helpful to have the send to MDE offer two options. One for sending bib records to MDE for fixing AND one for sending Holdings records to MDE.
OR send BOTH (all) to MDE.
Working with sets of holdings requires you to see all holdings on a single bib to fix errors or move items from one holdings record to another - you cant see this on a holdings list.
So, i would like to bulk edit these records on either bib level OR holdings level.3 votes -
MDE Release displayed records in list send back to previous screen
When clicking the Release displayed records in the list the entire list is cleared. That functionality should not only clear the list, but also close MDE to return to the previous screen.
There are too many clicks involved to get back to what you were doing previously.

Enable configuration of character limits in mandatory fields for request forms to prevent blank spaces on mandatory fields
We have had issues with users submitting blank details in request forms. Specifically Home address, which we need if we are to deliver items to them.
For privacy reasons we do not hold patrons addresses in the system and ask for them as part of the request form.
Even if we set the field as mandatory users can enter a space and still submit the form.
We would like to be able to configure character limits or character minimums for mandatory fields.

Create a Distinct Process Status for Loaned Items Marked Lost When the Lost Loan Is Deleted
When an item is on loan to a patron and the loan has been marked Lost, deleting that lost loan in Alma changes the item’s process status to Missing. This creates confusion because the item is not simply missing from the library’s shelves; it was previously checked out to a patron, declared lost through the overdue/lost billing process, and then administratively removed from the patron’s active loan record.
A distinct status such as Lost Loan Closed would more accurately reflect the item’s history and current condition.

Include ocn or other 035 as an exportable field for Alma sets
Currently, 035 fields are not included as viewable or exportable fields in Alma Sets. It would be helpful if we could include 035 fields - specifically OCNs - in an exported list of titles. We use Analytics to gather this information, but it requires an extra few steps. In streamlining our workflows, we want to see as many details about records as possible.
