Temporary Location Status
Alma temporary location due dates are informational only; adding configurable alerts or automated actions when those dates expire would reduce manual monitoring and improve location accuracy.

Enhance Analytics Support for Authority Records (Additional MARC Fields)
We would like to propose an enhancement to Alma Analytics for authority records.
Currently, Alma Analytics provides limited support for authority fields, such as 1XX and 373. However, many other important MARC authority fields are not available for reporting and analysis.
We recommend adding more authority fields to Analytics, including but not limited to:
046 – Special coded dates (commonly used for birth and death dates of authors)
372 – Field of activity
374 – Occupation
375 – GenderThese fields are widely used in authority records and are highly valuable for data analysis, authority control, and research purposes.

RS Pick Slip configuration
Currently the FUL Incoming Slip Letter can only be configured to display the Library of Congress classification, and not the Item Permanent Call Number. This means the pick slip generated in the Resource Sharing lending workflow shows an incorrect call number.
Please make the Item Permanent Call Number available as a configurable field in the FUL Incoming Letter, so that pick slips display the correct shelf location.

Rename Fulfilment Request status "READY" to either "PENDING" or "INQUEUE"
Currently Fulfilment request status READY - is misleading given its definition is
"The request is still in the queue, not activated yet. Currently, there is no available item to fulfill the request."It does not even mean "ready to be requested" given the request has been made already.
Note also "READY" is displayed in the User Request area in Alma, and this can be confusing to the client facing staff. They have to understand and be able to explain to clients that their requests are NOT READY yet despite the Alma labels says READY.

reminder
I understand that there is an intention to add Reminders to the task widget. Since the reminder is at the bibliographic title level, would it be possible to add a "flag" that would display when retrieving records? This would provide a visual cue to staff that there is a reminder for this record, and they could investigate further if needed.

Adding an entry (as a brief) in quick cataloging for a reserve item.
When working on reserves and adding a quick cataloging entry, make 'institution' the default for the placement of the new record. If you overlook that network is already selected for you, you cannot go back and change it to institution when completed. You have to remove that entry and start all over again. Another option would be to give the choice of either institution or network so that you have to choose one or the other.

Add Alma integration for Better World Books ISBN screening API
As a library staff member managing large-scale weeding and donation workflows, I would like Alma to integrate with the Better World Books ISBN PreScreen API (https://ps.betterworldbooks.com) so that ISBNs from Alma records or item sets can be screened directly in Alma and acceptance results returned within the system.
This would reduce the need for manual exports, spreadsheet-based processing, and external lookups during high-volume deselection projects. For libraries screening several thousand items, this would save staff time, simplify workflows, and make Better World Books donation decisions easier to manage within Alma.

Support MARC 956 thumbnail images in Alma Staff Interface
Description:
Currently, Alma Staff Interface does not display thumbnail images originating from MARC field 956, even when these thumbnails are correctly displayed in Primo VE through thumbnail template configuration.
At the moment, Alma Staff Interface only displays cover images resolved through internal mechanisms such as:
ISBN-based cover services (MARC 020)
Digital representations

Resource sharing partner letters preferred language
Please add the option to select a preferred language as a parameter when adding a partner's email address. This would make communication easier with partners from abroad who have an email profile.

Find User in Other Institution
Currently, the "Find user in other institution" functionality is only available for designated Resource Sharing libraries.
Many institutions have multiple libraries, only some of which are designated Resource Sharing libraries, yet all libraries are open to all users. We would like to see the "Find user in other instutition" available for ALL libraries in the institution (not just Resource Sharing libraries), to facilitate checkout of library materials to borrowers visiting from other libraries within the network zone.
This functionality is found on the Patron Identification page after going to Fulfillment > Manage Patron Services.

Extend bibliographic API to create/update/delete bibliographic sets
Currently, the only way you can interact with sets via API is to have permission to configuration read/write. This is unnecessarily broad - it allows the user to change integration profiles, update some mapping and configuration tables, and change location configurations.
The Bibliographic API needs to be extended to allow manipulation of bibliographic record sets. Anyone working with bibliographic records via API should be able to use sets as part of that workflow without also exposing configuration changes to the same API key.

Copyright declaration displayed only for copy requests on blank ILL form
Configure the copyright declaration on the blank ILL request form to display only when a copy request is being submitted, and not for physical loan requests.
Current gap: The copyright declaration currently appears for both copy and physical loan requests, even though it is only relevant to copies
Impact:
Users requesting physical loans are shown unnecessary copyright messaging
May cause confusion
Creates a less streamlined request experience

Please allow manual reordering of record fields inside the MDE, particularly Dublin Core records.
Within Alma search results, dc:creator doesn't display accurately if dc:contributor fields are present. Alma's internal logic displays the final dc:creator or dc:contributor field from the record as the primary creator within search results by digital title. There is no way to force a save or to "lock" the fields in the record within the Metadata Editor to accept dc:creator as a field AFTER dc:contributor. Upon "Save", the dc:creator is always reordered above dc:contributor. This has led to staff confusion when searching within Alma.

Analytics Authorities Locals Deletes
We need an analytics report for deleted authorities in which we can determine the type of vocabulary it belongs to. We made an incident on the Alma support portal "10583316", and they gave us this explanation and suggest us to report a new idea:
"The Analytics behavior for authorities is that the vocabulary code is not displayed for deleted authority records. This is because the MMS ID is taken from the MMS record table, which preserves information on both live and deleted records, while the Vocabulary Code is taken from the authority heading table, which preserves information only on live…

fine free return
It would be great to have an option to fine free return items when they are found.
Currently we only have the option to backdate returns, which requires us to look up the original due date to ensure there are no fines. This would skip that step

Short Loan Letter Timing
It would be great if the trigger timing for the Short Loan Letter was modified or an option was added to only trigger after 1/5/10 minutes of transactions.
Example right now it is triggered by each item scanned, so I can check out 3 short term items at the same time, and then get 3 emails back to back, one for each item. It would be better if there was an option to send the notice for all short term items checked out in 1 minute or 5 minutes.

OAI publishing profile - Add portfolio provenance field to Enrich Electronic inventory section
In a OAI publising profile, Data Enrichment tab, section Enrich Electronic Inventory, it is not possible to choose Provenance Field, we need it to be available via OAI for integration with third party systems. Thanks
