Add a SUSHI account column in the usage statistics missing data page
Currently, a lot of publishers have chosen SilverChair as their platform, e.g. Duke University Press, Geological Society of America, American Medical Association, etc. Their COUNTER reports all have SilverChair as the platform. In the Alma Usage statistics Missing Data page, their harvesting are all together under SilverChair. One day, when one or more of the publishers have problem harvesting, we would not know just by looking at the Missing Data page, because other publishers may have harvested data under SilverChair.
Requesting Ex Libris to add a SUSHI account column so usage data with the same platform will be differentiated by the SUSHI accounts. As a result, we would be able to see which publisher has problems harvesting the data.

Allow keyboard shortcuts/hot keys to be configurable
Allow for the creation of keyboard shortcut/hot key profiles that will support re-mapping of shortcuts. Some of the preset shortcut are not currently available due to the removal of function keys by manufacturers.
stares at Apple
It would be a nice touch to let customers share the shortcut profiles among each other as well.

Ability to Toggle the Missing with Fulfillment Role
Currently, the only way to mark an item missing with a fulfillment role is from a request. However, circulation staff often need to mark items missing that do not have requests. As far as I can tell, it requires the Physical Inventory Operator role to toggle the missing status from the item record. I would like staff to be able to toggle the missing status without having permission to edit/add records. Marking something missing is typically a fulfillment activity though and not always related to a request.

Add option (permitted) text data mining clause to license terms of use
Some publishers allow text data mining of databases/ejournal packages and this needs to be noted as a license term of use

Recovered missing/lost item notification
When an item marked lost (or missing) is checked in on Alma (i.e. found), we would like a notification (via email or otherwise) be sent automatically to the circulation supervisor.

Vendor Interface > Contact Information > Email addresses
The default display for Vendor Interface > Contact Information > Email addresses, does not include an option to display the "description" field on the main page. The fields available for display are: Preferred, email address, created by, creation date, and type.
Since most correspondence with vendors and sales representatives happen by email now, it would be useful to be able to see the description on the main page without having to click on .... and Edit for each email listed to see who is the correct contact.
Some email addresses do not contain the person's full name, and if you have different contacts from the same vendor for different purposes, it would be one less click to view the description that explains who to contact for what specific purpose.I'd rather remove "created by" and "creation date" as display options and replace them with "description" in the display options on the Vendor Interfac > Contact Information > Email addresses main screen.
Using the Vendor Interface > Contact information is preferred because Vendor > Contact People creates internal users - and we do not want to create internal users out of our vendor sales and support contacts - especially since those contacts may change frequently.
Thanks for considering. Sandra.

Set temporary location to yes in import profile
We can add temporary location information to inventory records in an import profile, but we would also like to be able to set our temporary location indicator to "yes."

Highlight text in persistent search box when pressing "/"
After completing a search in the persistent search box, the inputted text remains in that field. When pressing "/" to select the persistent search box, the cursor jumps to the beginning of the previously inputted text without highlighting it. Automatically highlighting the text would allow one to overwrite the previous text (e.g., scanning a barcode) without selecting and deleting it.

Check out an item to a visiting patron's account at their home institution. Direct Pick-up Resource Sharing
Instead of creating and managing a visiting patron's record, allow libraries to check items out onto their home institutions record. The patron could validate by choosing the institution and having the patron sign in to their account.
As a patron I could go to any library in my network and easily check out an item there by signing into my home library and checking out the items. Everything checked out would show up on my home library's record and I could return the item either at the lending library or my home library.

Add 880 field to the Bibliographic Details dimension table in Analytics
In MARC bibliographic records, the 880 field is used for non-Roman script equivalents of other fields in the bib record. CJK (Chinese, Japanese & Korean) libraries, for example, may use the 880 to record the non-Roman script equivalent of the Romanized characters in a 245. We would like the 880 field to be searchable in Analytics so we can create new book lists in the CJK scripts. New book lists are very popular with our users and we would like to be able to present these lists in the CJK scripts.

Notes Tabs not in Analytics
We would like to be able to retrieve all the details in the Notes Tabs for Borrowing and Lending requests via Analytics. Currently, only the Request Note is retrievable.

We would like to print Book Straps (like in OCLC) to attach to books as quite often our patrons return books with out the Slips.

Physically Received by Library
It should be possible to change the status of a Borrowing Request to Digitally Received by Library from Physically Received by Library or vice-versa, if the wrong Format was received. Currently, it is impossible to create a barcode if the item was Digitally Received.

Recent Searches & Customization of Searchable Fields
I would like to customize the fields displayed and their order when searching Borrowing and Lending requests. In addition, I would like Recent Searches to be displayed first. Currently, there are many fields that we do not use and we need to scroll down.

Add "Move to department" option for Acq departments
We would like a new option called "Move to Department" in the Receiving workbench AND in the Scan in Items form. The new option would have the effect of marking the existing Acq process as Done, and putting the item(s) in transit to the next department. Currently, if a workflow involves moving something from the Acq department to another department, such as a central End Processing unit that handles multiple libraries, the receiving staff have to perform multiple time-consuming steps. They must 1) Receive 2) Search for Physical Item 3) Create new Work Order 4) Scan in item to mark as Done. The new option would allow for batch processing of new receipts, rather than handling each item separately, which reduces productivity. Likewise in the Scan in Items form, the new option "Move to Department" would allow staff to mark something as Done at the same time as putting it in-transit to another department. Currently, staff must first search for the item to create a new Work Order for the next department, and then Scan in the Item to mark it as done. The new option would simplify this process and improve productivity.

Add a way to tell if an item/holding has 3 or more open requests
It would be nice to know if a given item or holding has 3 or more open request. It would signal the acquisition that another copy of the title would be helpful. This could be achived for example if the queue number is searchable, either in analytics or in the request search.

Add fulfilment, Public and Internal Notes to the Excel spreadsheets for physical item sets
When a Physical Item set of records is exported into a spreadsheet via Tools > Excel, the fields Fulfilment Note, Public Note and Internal Notes 1, 2 and 3 are noticeably absent from the columns of data offered in that spreadsheet.
Those fields frequently play a major role in determining the action required by staff for the given item upon its return, as they’re used for requests for reclassification, relegation, etc. It would constitute a sizeable labour-saving fix to be able to generate/save/print off a ready list of all such messages, alphabetically sortable by contents, from the spreadsheet for staff to work from more easily.
