Allow to start the "Import PO Approvals" job via the Alma API
The "Import PO approvals" job from the Finance integration can only be executed in 2 ways as far as I know:
- either by scheduling: daily at 2AM, 11AM, 4PM, 6PM or 7PM; 2 of which are within business hours
- or by clicking the "Run" button next to it manually for which you need the "General System Administrator" role in Alma (not an option to give to regular staff)
Alma does allow us to set up the Finance integration multiple times (up to 5) to have it run on more than one schedule but that is not nearly enough.

Feature Request: Add Vendor Filter for "Acquisitions > In Process Items"
We would like to request the addition of a Vendor filter in the Acquisitions > In Process Items screen.
Currently, we organize processing items by distinguishing between purchased and donated materials. However, there is no way to filter or sort processing items by vendor, making it necessary to open and check each individual item to identify its vendor information for purchased materials.
Adding Vendor as a filter option would allow users to quickly view and organize processing items by vendor, significantly improving the efficiency of the acquisitions workflow.

Track Active/Inactive status changes in the User History tab
Changes to a user's Active/Inactive status aren't captured in the User Details History tab — even though this is one of the more consequential changes a user record can undergo, directly affecting circulation and access privileges. The History tab tracks a wide range of other field changes; Status just isn't one of them. Right now, figuring out when and why a user went inactive means piecing it together from Analytics, job reports, or institutional memory instead of just checking the record.

Display Requester's Name in Interlibrary Loan (ILL) Request Details
We would like to request an enhancement so that the requester's name (Ful outgoing email letter-code: %reqName%) is displayed together with the Request ID in the request details when submitting an Interlibrary Loan (ILL) request to another institution.
Currently, the receiving library can only view the Request ID. Since each institution uses its own ID format and structure, the receiving library cannot identify the requester based on the ID alone or access the corresponding user information.

Move the Fund and Ledger Fiscal Period Table from Configuration to Operational Acquisitions Module in Alma & Update Role Requirement
We request that the Fund and Ledger Fiscal Period table be moved from the Configuration menu to the operational Acquisitions module in Alma and associated with the Fiscal Period Manager role. The management of fiscal periods is an operational, recurring activity performed by acquisitions and finance staff as part of the annual fiscal rollover process. Although the table is currently located under Configuration, updating fiscal periods does not represent a system configuration change. Instead, it is a routine operational task that must be completed each fiscal year.

Add Resource sharing requesting to block_request_if_not_loanable
Currently blockrequestifnotloanable only includes holds and bookings for items we own. And digitization requests, if you are using that functionality and not doing the fill locally workflow. We use the fill locally workflow.
A block on resource sharing requesting if people meet criteria of blockrequestifnotloanable block parameters, is essential. We are particularly trying to catch those with fees in excess of a certain amount who won't be able to check out the item they are requesting. List of Home Delivery Request to print labels and inform courier company
We manage a big number of home delivery requests. Alma does not allow you to create a list of loans of home delivery to print labels and send the list to the courier company.
The only way to do it is the day after by Analytics or developing a custom solution using webhooks and users API, to have it the same day.
It is necessary to make a list of patrons name, address, zip code, city, telephone and email address to print labels and create a csv file to be imported to the courier company software.

Allow Digital Lending Requests to Transition to “Shipped Digitally” When Lender Ship Email Letter Is Suppressed
Description
We have encountered an issue with Resource Sharing lending requests when supplying articles or book chapters digitally.
When a digital lending request is supplied using either:
Ship Item Digitally, or
Deliver Digital Documents for scanned items,the Ful Digitization Notification Item Letter is sent successfully. However, Alma then displays a “Could not send report” message, and the lending request does not transition to Shipped Digitally.
Instead, the request remains in its previous status, such as:

Separate local requests from resource sharing requests in block preferences
At present, there is no way to separate local requests from resource sharing requests for the “Item is on expired hold shelf for another patron” block preference configuration.
If front desk staff attempt to check out an item to the wrong patron by mistake, this lack of separation between request types results in an undesirable outcome—a resource sharing item being checked out to the wrong patron! When duplicating a list - we tend to duplicate sets to test functionality on a small group of records before applying a new update to thousands of records - there has to be an easier way to remove records from a set than selecting 50 and removing 50 at a time...

Include Entry-Level Primo Indexing for Bloomsbury Encyclopedia of Popular Music of the World
According to the CDI coverage list (new one here https://knowledge.exlibrisgroup.com/@api/deki/files/210988/CDI_collection_list_alma_07-09-26.xlsx?revision=1) it looks like Bloomsbury Encyclopedia of Popular Music of the World via our purchase of the Bloomsbury Popular Music Collection/Bloomsbury Music & Sound is Book Chapter level, which does not mean much in a search. We would like Bloomsbury Encyclopedias to have entry level indexing so that a user who searches for a topic will be directed to that specific entry to the Encyclopedia.

In House Use Function
There needs to be a separate function for 'In-House Use'. Scan-ins for activating Holds and the Return function are being too easily conflated in our In house use statistics. For example we have Kiosks that periodically scan all of the books inside the kiosk and each time it detects an RFID tag it scans in the item which then registers it as an in-house use. Also, staff may scan in an item that they are unsure about which registers it as an In House use. All of this renders In-house use statistics unreliable. The only remedy for this is a…

Sort "Manage sets" by modification date
It would be nice to be able to sort "Manage Sets" by when the set was modified. The current options only allow sorting by name and creation date, which can make it frustrating to find frequently used sets that aren't at either end of the alphabet and aren't super old or super new, especially when you have many sets. Sorting by modification date would provide an easy way to access the sets you are recently working on.

Color coded pop-ups
It would be great if the various pop-ups in Alma on return or scan in would be color coded for additional indication of what needs to happen to an item.
Example - Transit item could be a green box, and a fulfillment note could be yellow.

Consortia Dashboard for Normalization Rules
It would be helpful for Alma consortia to have a centralized dashboard where Network Zone administrators can view Normalization Rules configured at both NZ and IZ levels.
The dashboard could display:
• Normalization rule name and NZ/IZ ownership
• Corresponding normalization processes
• Import profiles or other workflows using the rule
• Last modified date
• Filters for institution, rule, and process

Add Article Processing Charges (APC) as Order Line Type for Import Profiles
For libraries that routinely pay APC fees (not just part of transformative agreements), it would be great if APC-One Time was one of the Order Line type options for Import Profiles. Currently, we have to manually enter order details in Alma. We receive APC data in batches 20 or more at certain times each year and entering orders manually is very time consuming.

Add Access Type to Customize View
It would be very useful to be able to display the Access Type: Current, Perpetual, or Current and Perpetual under collections in the search results.
Right now we need to click edit collection to see this information. we want to be able to see at first glance which of our collections are perpetual access.Please add Access Type as a field we can choose to see. It is not currently listed as an option in customize view.

Make bulk job reports explain why individual records were skipped
When a bulk job finishes, please provide a downloadable report for records that were skipped or failed. For each record, the report could include its ID, the attempted action, the reason it was not changed, and a suggested next step where possible.
This would help library staff distinguish records that need correction from records that were intentionally left unchanged, without opening each record individually.
