Quick Links and Keyboard Shortcuts in the Metadata Editor for Enhance the Record Normalization Processes
As a cataloger, I want to create quick links and keyboard shortcuts for normalization processes in the metadata editor, instead of selecting them via "Enhance the record", so that I can work more efficiently.

Calendar update recurring
It would be useful to be able to enter the dates of recurring holidays localized by country via "Calendar Management", in order to avoid having to confirm these dates every year.

Add Archived/Unarchived Visibility Facet to Reading List
When a course is archived all of its associated reading lists also become archived but when you look in the Reading List page there is no way to determine which reading lists are archived without clicking the ellipse next to each reading list to see whether it has an Unarchive option.
It would be nice to be able to filter for this with a facet like you can with Courses.

Ability to add option to see if line has invoice to POL summaries
When looking at a list of POLs, it would be useful to see in the summary or be able to add to the customised summary view, if the item has been invoiced.

Make the Send Message emails more customisable
Today it is possible to send messages to individual users from the General Information tab on the User Details screen, but the functionality is very basic. To be truly useful it should be possible to create your own templates and to customise them the same way we can customise Alma Letters. Without the usual letter components, such as a header with the institution logo, which are present in other Alma letters, the messages look unprofessional and can easily be mistaken as spam. Allow automatic barcode generation in quick cataloguing form from Manage Patron Services
The quick cataloguing form has a variant depending on whether you access it through Fulfillment > Manage Patron services > loan tab > create item or through Resources > add a physical item.
In the first case (Fulfillment > Manage Patron services etc.), quick cataloguing is used in the case where a document is presented for loan but does not exist in the database. The barcode is then obligatory for loan, otherwise loan is not possible. The barcode cannot be automatically created.

Allow patron to create "Alias" that prints to Ful Hold Shelf Request Slip Letter
When item that has a request is returned at the circulation desk, a Ful Hold Shelf Request Slip Letter is printed. There is a Patron name on the Print.
There should be a possibility for a Patron to choose an "Alias" (Name or Number) that would be printed to the Letter.This could be an Address -field that patron can update in Primo. Then it would be printed to the slip letter.

List of Home Delivery Request to print labels and inform courier company
We manage a big number of home delivery requests. Alma does not allow you to create a list of loans of home delivery to print labels and send the list to the courier company.
The only way to do it is the day after by Analytics or developing a custom solution using webhooks and users API, to have it the same day.
It is necessary to make a list of patrons name, address, zip code, city, telephone and email address to print labels and create a csv file to be imported to the courier company software.

Make address fields one of the searchable fields in user searches
Addresses on a patron record (at least the preferred address fields) need to be a searchable field in the universal search box on the dashboard.

Pick from Shelf, sort by title
Hello,
Currently our Pick from Shelf has 4 options to sort the titles:
Location Name- Asc
Location Name - Desc
Call Number - Asc
Call Number - DescI would like to see the titles sorted into alphabetical order.

Extend or allow one to be able to extend the time it takes to time-out when on the Manage Patron Services screen.
Please extend or allow one to customise their own time-out settings for the Manage Patron Services screen.
Gets on my nerves when I'm in the middle of composing an email to a Patron about their loans and I have to keep bringing up their account because it goes back to the search screen.
I need more time if I'm dealing with: fines, loan history, and making notes on an account, whilst trying to communicate what I'm doing.

Allow the rollover of a set of POLs or the results of an Alma Analytics query
It would be nice to be able to roll just a set of of orders, not individual POLs, or specific types of POLs. In our case, we have two libraries that prefer to have their orders rolled over on encumbrance, and the remainder on expenditure plus an FPC factor. We tried doing this this year by separately rolling the specific library's ledger and then associated POLs, but it took days. I think the issue is that it is trying and failing to roll every other active POL, and then just failing on those that do not yet have active funds.…

Allow default filter settings in searches to be customised
Dear creative minds,
There are many search bars in ALMA that have default filter settings. Depending on personal preference and work tasks, the default is not always practical. Time and time again I need to change the filter settings to my particular preference or need. Not efficient in terms of mouse clicks and time!
This issue is conspicuously time and click-consuming when one tries to add a closed PO line to a portfolio, collection or associate it to another PO line. The default filter is set to 'Active' PO lines, so closed PO lines will not be searched. One needs…

List the "Pick from Shelf" list, "Monitor Requests and item processes" and results from a "Requests" search in order from latest to oldest

Show when a MMS record is Suppressed on the Electronic Collection search results
When using the Electronic Collection search, the results list does not show whether the MMS record is suppressed. This Idea is to suggest that the suppressed icon is displayed on the Electronic Collection search results when the MMS record is suppressed from discovery.
This is important if the Electronic Collection has CDI results - if the MMS record is suppressed from discovery, so too are all of the CDI results. Allow Request Notes to be edited even with complex Fulfilment Rules
We introduced Fulfillment Rules to check if there are any "Process Types" assigned to an item and make them unrequestable. For example if an item is MISSING, REQUESTED, LOST, LOANED, etc.
This allows an item without a process type to be requested fine. Unfortunately, the moment you try to edit the Request Note and update the request, it ends up rechecking the Fulfillment rules and oddly cancels the request.

The option for Fulfillment AND Internal notes to pop up during Check in/out
When scanning an item into the Scan In Items screen, both Fulfillment and Internal Notes pop up. However, when scanning items into the Circulation screens (Manage Patron Services & Return Items), only Fulfillment notes pop up.
We would like the option for Fulfillment AND Internal Notes to pop up for staff while using the Circulation screens at the desk. There tends to be important information in both fields that they should be aware of while checking items in and out.

Expand Number of User Identifiers in Analytics
In Alma Analytics, when running User analyses, only two user Identifier options are made available under the Users | User Details subject area. Each of these two Identifier options can be associated with a single user identifier type by Ex Libris, requiring that a case be opened with Ex Libris to change that association as needed. Given that there is no limit to the number of user record identifier types in Alma for an institution, having only two user identifiers readily available in Analytics is very limiting and inefficient.
