Preferred email address and system messages
If a user account has no preferred email address, no letters will be sent to this user. It is possible to save a user account without preferred email, and I guess that some libraries need to be able to save email addresses without having one that is preferred. But at Uppsala university we need better messages from the system about this, otherwise some users will have no preferred email and consequently get no letters from the library.

Scanning books with Alma Mobile to do Shelf Report
The idea is to allow staffs to scan the barcodes of a batch of books on the shelf to automatically create a list that will upload to Alma Shelf Report, so we can check misplaced books, missing books, and books that have not been added to Alma, etc. This eliminates the need to create an excel list of barcodes, a desktop laptop, and a handheld scanner. Shelf reading will become faster, more streamlined, and more accurate.

More flexibility with Shipped Physically borrowing and lending request statuses
We have situations where we need to either alter the shipping cost of a Lending request that is at status Shipped Physically or cancel/expire a Lending request that is Shipped Physically. However, there is no way to update a request at this status that will update the partner library's system. After a request is Shipped Physically it can only be completed. We would like the ability to continue to make changes that will send through to the partner library after a request is Shipped Physically. Allow public display of the AcqWorkOrder type to be customized
Currently, when items are in processing under the AcqWorkOrder type, the public display reads, "Acquisition technical services," and cannot be changed. I would like the ability to customize this label as we can with other work orders.

Link single or selected local portfolios in a CZ collection to the community instead of all local portfolios in a CZ collection
Currently, when linking local portfolios in a CZ collection to the Community Zone (CZ) using “Link Local Portfolios to Community”, it is only possible to run the job on all local portfolios in that collection, rather than just a single portfolio or a selection of portfolios. (Linking a single portfolio only works for stand-alone portfolios, not for local portfolios in a CZ collection).
It would be useful if an option could be added to link a single local portfolio in a CZ collection to the CZ. Also, it would be helpful if the "Link Local Portfolios to Community" option in…

Mass deletion of purchase requests
Purchase requests can be mass rejected but cannot be mass deleted after that, so they need to be deleted individually, which is frustrating and time-consuming.

Create functionality to remove portfolio General Note entries using the Portfolio Loader or the Change Portfolio Information Job
Currently, there isn't a way to remove General Note entries in batch. It would be ideal if there were a way to remove General Note entries using either the Portfolio Loader or the Update Portfolio Information job, instead of having to do this work manually.

Make Display of Inventory Groups list sortable (alphabetical by one of the columns.)
Display of Inventory Groups list is not predictable or sortable
In the Electronic Service Editor > Group Settings tab, there’s no predictable, consistent order for the display of associated Inventory Groups, and there is no way to sort them.The list of groups in the Inventory ‘Available For’ Management Groups (Configuration Menu > Resources > General > Inventory Network Groups) is also in no order and is not sortable.

Library staff Email Notifications capability for Subscription Renewals
Although Alma allows library staff to specify the Renewal Reminder Period in number of days, there is currently no mechanism in place to allow the configuration of subscription renewal reminders to be sent via email to staff.
This would be a particularly useful tool for subscription management. Could this capability be added to the Renewal Information section please?

Add "Prefer Open Access resources" option on the Online Services Order page
Configuring the Online Services Order (https://knowledge.exlibrisgroup.com/Alma/Product_Documentation/010Alma_Online_Help_(English)/030Fulfillment/080Configuring_Fulfillment/090Discovery_Interface_Display_Logic/035ViewIt#Configuring_the_Order_of_Online_Services) includes several options, including an "Additional Preferences" section where one can choose whether or not to prioritize CZ collections, source service, ID based linking services, or prefer resources with a PO Line. However, there is no option for prioritizing OA resources. In order to allow libraries to make Open Access resources more readily available to end users, in this idea, I request that a preference be added to this list, "Prefer Open Access resources." Currently, Alma does not allow libraries to configure different default Format values (Physical vs. Digital) for Book (Loan) requests versus Article (Copy/Scan) requests in the Resource Sharing Request form. The single “Delivery fields > Format” default applies globally to both request types even though these request types have very different workflows and downstream impacts.

Add a filter to remove consortia-specific e-collections from CZ search results OR remove consortia from "Interface" facet
It would really improve the CZ search experience (when looking for the right package from the large publishers of e-journal/e-book packages) if there was a way to toggle off the results from all of the consortia-specific e-collections. For large publishers like Springer, the consortial results completely overwhelm the search results.
OR, at the very least, to separate consortial names from the "Interface" facet - these consortial names aren't actual interfaces - the links in these collections go to publisher platforms. Would it be possible to tag the consortia name in some other way? In a new field?

Allow for recurring monthly allocation
We have restricted funds where we get a monthly endowment. It would be nice to have a recurring entry feature where the allocation would be set up at the beginning of the year to apply an allocation once a month. Alternatively, the ability to process a monthly allocation and then duplicate it for the following 11 months would be an improvement. Many accounting platforms have "recurring journals"- we'd like something similar.

Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) for developer portal
Currently login to the developer portal https://developers.exlibrisgroup.com/ requires username and password. If a user account associated with an organisation is compromised this gives the malicious actor access to use/create API keys to do anything they want in Alma.
For example a malicious actor could create an API key which allows them to access all the user information stored in Alma.
Access to manage API keys should be locked down with 2FA, password login is not sufficient.

Notes for display logic rules
We would like a notes tab in the Discovery Interface Display Logic rules screen. We have over thirty rules, and some are inactive. We would like a way to record some notes as a record of our decision-making for this quite complicated area.

Show barcode field of requests in Manage Patron Services
Please add the ability to see the barcode of a requested item (where available) on the Requests tab of the Manage Patron Services screen. It is possible to see barcodes on the Monitor Requests & Item Processes screen but not this one.

Prevent GOBI API from matching activated CZ records in IZ
Problem - The matching method used in the API will ink to the CZ bib records if it is in the IZ. The match methods are not flexible in the API integration profile when compared to something like import profiles that allow ignoring the record from the Community Zone and creating a local record.
We would like the API to always create a local bib even if a matching CZ record exists in the IZ. Or, at least make this an optional setting.

Add Cancellation Reason code and Notes to the Interested In Letter XML
This essentially replicates an earlier request that was closed in 2021 without resolution:
We would like to have Cancellation Reason code and Cancellation Note available in the XML that is supplied to the Interested In letter template. The Cancellation Reason code is a distinct field In Analytics, so I would hope that this would be easy to add to the XML. Remove 'Level URL' from CZ collections
We'd like to move more Electronic Collections onto fewer bib records to help with organisation of our e-resources within Alma. If there are multiple IZ collections linked to an unsuppressed bib record, you can control how many URLs display in the Primo record by controlling which Electronic Collections have Level URLs. However, this is not possible when using CZ collections as there is already a Level URL hardcoded into the collection. I don't think it's possible to override the Level URL with 'nothing' to hide that collection's link from Primo. We'd like the ability to be able to hide that…
