Scanning books with Alma Mobile to do Shelf Report
The idea is to allow staffs to scan the barcodes of a batch of books on the shelf to automatically create a list that will upload to Alma Shelf Report, so we can check misplaced books, missing books, and books that have not been added to Alma, etc. This eliminates the need to create an excel list of barcodes, a desktop laptop, and a handheld scanner. Shelf reading will become faster, more streamlined, and more accurate.

This would be so useful when weeding. My library doesn't have portable barcode scanners so being able to scan a barcode from the shelf using my phone camera would save me from having to print out long usage reports or type in whole barcodes to check how many times an item has been checked out.
