Include variables in subject line in letter emails costumization
In Alma you can costumize emails and letters message body via XSL including the related data from xml, but not in the subject area, where you can write only fixed text. We need the possibility to add changing information in subject area, for example add the id of requests in the subject of the Resource sharing emails. It would be possible to configure the subject field to accept variables/placeholder containing the data in xml emails?

Allow edits to POL Bib Descriptions on Cancelled POLs
We want to be able to edit the POL Bib Description fields on cancelled POLs without having to reopen the POL. Reopening a cancelled order on a closed ledger causes complications, especially if the fund doesn't exist in the current ledger. It would be better for your users if we could just edit this tab without impacting the POL status. Thank you!

Death of a patron - Need to immediately and permanently cease sending all letters
In the unfortunate event that we learn that a patron passes away, we need a quick, clear, and finite procedure to immediately and permanently cease/stop any and all IZ and NZ notifications to the patron's email account, especially those that are tied to a SIS load (Example: Banner). College administration directs the library to ensure no emails are sent to the deceased's email account. We need to be able to definitively state to college administrators "Absolutely zero communications, automated or manually generated, will be sent regarding the deceased patron's library account from the IZ or NZ."

Post download links for digtization requests to user's Primo account
Currently, Alma will post a download link to the user's Primo account when a resource sharing request is filled digitally. Alma does not post a download link to Primo when a digitization request is filled. This difference can be confusing for users, so it would be very helpful if download links for both resource sharing and digitization requests were posted to the user's Primo account.

NOT erasing Return Items page every time we leave it
Every time we leave the Return Items page, it erases the list of returned books. This is disastrous for us, so we would like to keep the list of all books returned during the day (or since logging in until logging out).
If someone benefits from erasing the list, just give us a choice whether we want it erased or not.Now let me explain why it is crucial for our work:

Enable labeling enumeration and chronology fields
It can be difficult to recall the meaning of enumeration and chronology fields, e.g., Enumeration A, Enumeration B, Chronology I, etc.). It would be helpful if general system administrators could change the labels of these that show to staff, for example, change Enumeration A to Year.

Allow AFN resource sharing requests filled outside the AFN to be delivered to the user's preferred pickup institution
If a user in an AFN requests that a resource sharing item be delivered to an institution other than their home institution, the request must be filled within the AFN in order for the user's preferred pickup institution choice to be honored. If it is filled by an institution outside the AFN, the preferred pickup institution reverts to the user's home institution, and the user is never notified of this change until the item is placed on hold at their home institution. Link licenses to physical resources
Allow physical resources to have an attached license similar to electronic resources.
For example, a DVD may have specific educational and/or screening rights that we would like to save as a license and link to the DVD.

Add institution address information to XML for Ful Transit Slip Letter
When an item is placed in transit to another institution in an AFN, the institution name is included in the XML of the Ful Transit Slip Letter. However, no address information for the institution in included in the XML, so it's not possilble to add that information to the Ful Transit Slip Letter. SUNY has added resource sharing partner address info to our resource sharing shipping and return letters, and that has proven to be very helpful. Reopening closed POLs should re-encumber funds
Currently re-opening a closed POL doesn’t re-encumber the funds. The workaround for this is to delete the fund, save the change, then add the fund back and save again.
When we brought this up with Ex Libris they advised this can't be done automatically, but that they would instead add a popup message advising the funds will need to be manually re-encumbered. This was supposed to be added in December 2016 release but we noticed some time later that it didn't eventuate (SalesForce case #00436654).

Additional Exportable Fields
When viewing electronic collection results, after a search, we would like the ability to export several additional fields: Alternative Title, General note (electronic collection), and General note (Service). This would allow our consortium to do some real-time analysis of how multiple collections are setup which would save significant time over having to click into each electronic collection individually.

PO Line for Standing Orders: Renewal field
when creating a POL for a standing order, the Renewal field is required before the order can be saved/sent. But the whole point of a standing order is that I don't have to do anything to renew it; the vendor just keeps sending them. This should not be a required field; it's clogging up my renewals because I there is no action needed on my part.

Ability to surface details of recipients/subscribers to Scheduled Analytics Reports
Allow for export/inclusion of subscriber details when exporting list of scheduled reports or creating Analytics reports from Analytics Usage Tracking subject area or Analytics Objects subject area.
I am trying to do an audit on recipients/subscribers of our Scheduled Reports in Alma. The aim is to streamline who receives which reports/ remove staff who have moved roles and/or staff who have left the institution.
Currently neither the extract of Analytics Objects from Alma or any of the Analytics Subject Areas include details about the recipients/subscribers and I feel this would be very useful for auditing/access control.

1. Ability to choose location and general call number range
2.Displayed by call number order including title, number of charges, number of browses and current item status (missing, work order, on loan)

When we renew POL, we would like to be able to tick or not tick the box "Manual Packaging".

Add Alternative Title to Alma Analytics
Adding the Alternative Title for an electronic collection would allow us fully use Alma Analytics and not need to maintain separate reports that are created outside of Alma. As a consortium, this would also allow more information sharing with our members and more efficient troubleshooting and maintenance.

Change / improve the Booking process for staff and patrons
Hi all,
We wish to submit a proposal to change the current booking process for staff creating a booking request in Alma AND for patrons creating their own bookings in PRIMO VE.
Now, Alma’s option to submit ‘’ Booking ‘’ requests requires us to first search an item, select it and then enter booking times for each piece of equipment desired, which is very time consuming.
When patrons book equipment, they often need up to 10 or more pieces of equipment for the same booking period. This is quite inconvenient and increases the risk of mistakes in the process.

Set Linking Parser Parameters at the Interface level
It would be more efficient to set the Linking Parser Parameters at the interface level, with an option to override the parameter at the Service Link level.
For example, I want to set our university's ProQuest clientid at the ProQuest interface level rather than have to open each of our 20+ ProQuest collections to edit the Service Link Parameters.

Please show Access Type in Alma brief view search for Electronic Collections.
Access Type is quite important, since it may be not only Current but also Perpetual or Current and Perpetual. From the brief view many operation, included deletion, can be performed. Having this information at first glance, if possible together with a warning on deletion attempt as suggested here ( https://ideas.exlibrisgroup.com/forums/308173-alma/suggestions/42179845-prevent-deletion-of-portfolios-with-access-type-pe ) may help preventing accidental deletion of important perpetual assets.40 votes
