Receiving
During receiving allow multiple of the same issue to be checked in at the same time. It would save a lot of time to be able to do this all at the same time rather than have to enter back into the issue title and do the process all over again for a different date.

JavaScript in the Alma Resolver Menu (GetIt/ViewIt)
"Delivery system skins" enable customers to modify the Alma resolver menu using custom CSS and images, but it would be extremely useful if customers could also add custom JavaScript to the resolver menu.
In many cases, desired customizations require DOM manipulation that cannot be achieved with CSS alone. Moreover, many libraries rely on JavaScript-driven web analytics tools (such as Google Analytics) to track user engagement across various web properties.

Normalisation rules that apply to holdings using information from Bib record, and vice versa
Have normalisation rules that are applied to holdings able to use information from the bib record. This would allow more complex holdings and call numbers to be automatically generated more easily than using the current call number system as a workaround.

Show Service temporarily unavailable message even if Direct linking is enabled
The Service temporarily unavailable message is only visible if direct linking is not enabled.
It would be useful if activating the message, would automatically disable Direct linking for that particular service

Enable a "Reprompt" option in Analytics
Currently, when running a prompted report, if you want to change your selections after running it, you must go back to the catalog and start over from "Run". It would be a great time savings if there were a "REPROMPT" option, which took you directly back to the prompt screen. Inclusion of a "retain choices this session" toggle and a "clear all choices" button on the prompt screen would be useful as well.
A use case would be when I am trying to determine why a particular item is hanging up on a task list or is being prevented from withdraw/delete. Sometimes this can be sussed out by looking at the item hit list information in Alma, or the item History tab, but I have found it is often quicker to pull up the item in Analytics using an analysis that prompts for barcode and returns MMS Id, Title, Author, Ownign Library, Call number, Request Type Description, Managed by unit (latest step), Active request flag, Modifocation date, Current process, Lifecycle, and Modified by. After checking one item, I would love to be able to click on "Reprompt" and be returned to the prompt screen with my cursor in the input box.
Similarly, I have an analysis for finding items with mismatched locations and item policies. I first run an item count by Location and Classification Code. Where "unallowed" combinations exist, I need to find the specific items and fix. Creating or modifying an advanced search in Alma Repository Search is cumbersome, hence the analysis. It prompts me to select a Location and a Classification Code, then returns the barcode, MMS ID, Title, etc. Again, the option to return directly to the prompt screen (and have my previous selections retained, so, for example, I can keep the location and change the classification code or choose to clear all) would make working through a list of several combinations much more efficient.

Ability to remove Associated PO Lines from a POL
If we add a POL # to the Additional section of a POL > Associated PO Lines and then discover that it was incorrect we are not able to remove it. We can change it but not remove it.
We would like to be able to remove the Associated PO Lines if we find that we have made a mistake

Shared Dimensions
It would be really useful if you could only see the "fields" that are available to be used when using two dimensions to construct a query.
This would make the Analytics interface more user friendly, and remove the need for checking documentation to find out what fields are/are note available.

Add HTML to Analytics dashboards
It would be cool if we could include active HTML in our dashboards.
For example, ibrarians who are reviewing new electronic acquistions could pull up a list of new acquisition and, in a one click, link directly through to the resources. (Currently, they would need to pull down the report, find the URL in the data, then copy and paste that back into the browser)
Additionally, outside images (via <img> tag) could be incorporated into reports for branded presentations.
By default in OBIEE, only Administrators have the right to use HTML in the data format of any column.
This can be remedied simply by adding the HardenXSS element to the Oracle BI Presentation Services Configuration file and setting it to false.

Customization of invoice line summary display
The notes field on the invoice lines summary display currently displays a tick if there is anything is written in the notes field of the invoice line. It would be more convenient if we could customize/configure what we can view so that we can see the content of the notes field without having to go in and view the individual invoice line.

import profiles -- need the option to leave suppression codes "as is"
When creating an import profile, the “set management tags” option is to either suppress record/s from publish/delivery, or to not suppress. This is for the entire file.
We need a third option to leave the existing suppress status unchanged for replaced and merged records. (We had this option in Voyager, and it worked well)
Rational: All GPO weekly brief Marcive records are loaded suppressed. When the monthly bib records overlay the weekly brief records, the suppress status needs to remain as is. “If” the bib record is suppressed, the cataloger will unsuppress at the point of cataloging

Improve ME Browse Call Numbers Tool
When editing a holding record in the Metadata Editor, the Browse Call Number tool shows the call number from the current holding record in a shelf list display. However, the resulting list starts with the call number in your holding record and shows the following call numbers. What we need is to see the call numbers both before and after the one we're working on. Request the list show at least 2-3 call number prior to the one we're working on, plus those following.

Improve the ease of reordering the Online Services Order and General Electronic Services Order tables
Currently, items in the General Electronic Services Order and Online Services Order tables need to be moved using up and down arrows. This can be very time-consuming if the tables contain numerous items. It would significantly improve the ease of use i, the items in this list could be resorted either through drag-and-drop or by moving a given item to a numbered slot in the table (similar to the Netflix interface).

Set standard opening hours in advance
If the Library decides to change the standard opening hours of the Library for the coming year you currently have to wait until the first day of new hours to be able to input them as standard hours into Alma.
It would be nice if Alma allowed you to enter new standard opening hours in advance and to set a date in which they would come into effect. That way you wouldn't have to schedule to change them on the first day of the new hours.
An example would be if new standard hours were decided on by Library Management in June for the coming year. Currently you have to wait for the start of the new year but we'd like to be able to set them up in June with a date they'll come into effect

make permissions on changing address data more granular (email/domestic)
Aleph allows to set an option to allow users change their "address" data via Primo OVP. This allows users to edit the phone number and email in Primo, but also their domestic address. Often, the change of the domestic address must be prevented, because it is the address where a possible court order is directed to.
We want to allow users to change their email and phone number but need to disallow the change of the domestic address. Therefore, we propose that Primo and Aleph/ALMA must be designed to work in a way that allows setting permissions on each field ( email, address or phone number).

Change Financial Year dates after they have been set
It doesn't look as if it is possible to change the start and finish dates of any financial year in Acquisitions Configuration > Fund And Ledger Fiscal Period table mapping tables once the year has been created, unless it is deleted completely.
Can it be made possible for the start and (in particular) the end dates to be edited having already been set and saved, if so required?
Being able to do this would be of particular benefit around the time of a financial year rollover, especially if an institution cannot be certain that all financial transactions for the outgoing year will be completed in time for the originally set end date (necessitating, therefore, an extension of the outgoing financial year and a delaying of the incoming one).

Automatically Associate Certain Payment Methods (e.g., Credit, JV, Deposit) with Prepaid Functionality when Creating Invoices
We would like the ability to automatically associate certain Payment Methods (Credit Card, JV (Correction), Deposit Account, etc.) with Prepaid functionality when creating Invoices. 1) This would save time. 2) Most institutions do not want certain payment methods going to their ERP, but occasionally forget to check the Prepaid box. Setting this up systematically would serve as a fail-safe for such situations.

Moving item records should have a better way of refreshing the list of items
When item records are moved from one location to another the move will be made and the list of items will refresh but then leave all of the items moved still on the page. From here there is no good option to refresh the page and continue working and moving item records. Using the Alma back button takes you back to the bib record where you have to reenter the the list of items. Moving a page forward on the list of items will display a blank page of no records being found. If a browser refresh is done a blank page will be displayed then requiring the use of the browser back button which then displays an item record where you can cancel the action and then finally get the updated list of items with them moved. None of these options are user friendly but one of them must be done to get an updated list of items. The desired outcome would be, when an item is moved to a different location to refresh the page like normal but instead not display the already moved items.

When viewing an item, there should be an option to edit without leaving the item screen
When you view an item (or click on the barcode to view an item), there should be an option on the item screen to edit the item. Instead, if we decide we need to edit the item, we have to back out of the item screen, then select Actions --> edit to edit the item. Too many clicks!
