View all PAID invoices
Right now there is no easy way to see all of the recently paid invoices after they return from the ERP. Our business office needs to verify that they were, in fact, paid. We are using an analytics report but this is non-optimal

Provide multiple hold pickup options within a single Alma library
We'd like to provide, within a single Alma library, the following pickup location/delivery options to our users: locker, circulation desk, or mail to home. At present, this is only possible through the creation of additional libraries.

Add Collection related subject area/dimensions/parameters in Analytics
Please elaborate Collection in Analytics. We suggest three ideas for that;
Idea 1)
Collection can be a separate dimension, with the existing/new parameters below;
- Collection ID (existing)
- Collection Name (existing)
- Collection External System
- Collection External ID
- Collection MMS ID (of the collection's BIB itself)
- ★★★ The PIDs of the collection's direct sub-collections (in different rows, not combined with semicolons; should be repeatable so that the created report can show the hierarchical structure of whole collections)
- Collection level (the depth)
- Collection Path (from the collection's top level collection to itself)

Delete interested users job - independent of Interested In Letter
Ex Libris says the Delete interested users job "Runs weekly to delete interested users that are linked to closed or canceled PO lines. The job checks that an interestedin letter was sent to the interested users before removing it from the PO Line. Interested users will not be removed from a closed or canceled PO line if a letter was not sent to them."
Due to privacy regulations, we would like the job to run regardless of a letter being sent or not. The closed or cancelled PO line should be sufficient to run the job.

The ability to sort the "List of Items" by "Copy ID" or "Item Call Number"
Adding "Copy ID" and "Item Call Number" to the "Sort routine" in the "List of Items would be very helpful for us. We catalog various types of equipment to loan out to students. The equipment has a Permanent Call Number which designates the type of equipment and where the equipment is from using a code. Each piece of equipment belonging to that bibliographic record has an item call number so being able to sort by item call number or copy ID would make our life easier. Thank you.

Option to Return Items Without Filling Patron Requests
Items checked in that have patron requests on them are automatically placed on hold shelf and the patron is immediately emailed. Currently Ex Libris allows a delay for the notice for a maximum of 999 minutes, which is often not long enough. Sometimes materials come back that need repair, updates, or to be quarantined. This can take varying amounts of time. Permanent Call Number in Physical Item Editor
It would be extremely useful if we could edit the permanent call number in the physical item editor the same way we can edit the permanent location. This information is an holding's element in many libraries.
Otherwise, after receiving the orders, we need to edit both the physical item and the holding after cataloging and before scanning the items to put them on the shelves.. This is tedious and prone to errors.20 votes -
Configure paired libraries to have own Discovery Widget in Alma
We have two libraries and would like to have the Discovery Widget visible on Alma's initial page based on own libraries collection. When I go to Configuration Menu > Discovery > Display Configuration > Configure Views, 2 libraries are listed. If I select my own library, my own library discovery widget becomes the default to both libraries. We'd like each library to have their corresponding collection on the Discovery Widget.

Cost Per Use *by fund* Report for Electronic Collections (Databases)
Problem: We are looking for a way to run a cost usage report by fund that includes titles with the PO Line Type ‘Name of Electronic Collection - Subscription.’
Description: Our library evaluates cost per use of all serials by fund. We have been able to run a cost per use report by fund for our print and electronic journals. We run into a roadblock, however, when we try to generate a report on the cost/use of a database by fund.

Always add newly implemented fields to API and Analytics
We have repeatedly run into issues with the following: Things implemented in the Alma UI are not automatically available via API and/or Analytics.
Recent examples include:
* June 2020 "Can't edit restricted users" - Ex Libris offered to add this to the API, but not to Analytics
* CDI Search activation status - as of now it is not clear whether we will have access to this via APITo be honest: I am not willing to open an idea or NERS every time Ex Libris thinks it's nice to have something in the Alma UI, but do not care…

Update Resource-sharing request through the ALMA API
Currently with the API, the only update option possible is shipping a resource sharing request. We request the option to perform other updates, e.g. change the status.

User information in Print slip report
We are currently using the print slip report for our click and collect service but for us it is missing some vital user information around the requester. We would like to see the primary identifier in the report. We tried to deal with this in analytics but we also require the item barcode and this caused problems where there are multiple items under a title. The print slip report contains all the information (including the multiple barcodes) we need except for more extensive user information to help staff deal with this off site. Time to reshelve not applicable if there is a request
After testing the Time to reshelve, we found that if an item is requested, the delay for reshelve is not applicable.
It make sense in a way that the on hold shelf is not really a reshelve, but we would like to take into account the delay for reshelve for requested items too. In case of quarantaine.23 votes -
Delay for hold notification - up to 5 digits
Even if a library is closed to the public, the staff are working.
When they scan a returned loan, a notification is sent but the patron cannot retrieve his document due to the closed library.
It would be beneficial for us to be able to delay the notification for a week.

Making Copy to Community / Network / Institution configurable
When searching for authoritiy records, there are options to copy an authority to Network or to Community or even to the Institution zone.
We understand there may be institutions and consortia administrating different kind of vocabularies at different levels, but this is not the case for all. We see in our consortium too many mistakes due to catalogers selecting the wrong button when importing a record. We therefore strongly suggest making all these options configurable, so that it will be possible to hide the buttons.

I would like to share our current approach and confirm that it aligns with your expectations for this idea.
In the new UX, these actions will be available as row level actions and will be configurable. Users will be able to hide them if they prefer not to see them, and administrators will be able to define them as hidden by default so that only users who choose to enable them will see them.
Does this approach address your request? Please let us know if this meets your needs. If confirmed, this capability will be included as part of the new Search UX.

Online payment - Transaction ID optional
Actually, when choosing Online as payment method, the transaction ID is mandatory. We would like it to be optional, for our staff to be able to validate a payment without having to fill out this ID when on the circulation desk.

Purchase Request additional citations types
We are trying to utilize the purchase request form in Primo to have users request streaming video through Alma. Streaming videos are very popular nowadays but unfortunately there is not an option for this material type and citation in the purchase request form.
Can you add more citation options? Besides books or journals there is not an option that matches the streaming video material type. It would be really helpful to have a streaming citation or video since this resource is very popular among our users.

Separate the ability to delete holdings and items so they depend on different privileges and roles.
Currently, the ability to delete holdings with no inventory and to withdraw items is controlled by the same user role and privilege. 'Physical Inventory Operator Extended' role, 'Physical Inventory Delete' privelege.
This idea proposes to separate those functions into 2 roles:
one will be able to delete empty holdings records (and may be assigned to a broader population of users)
and the other (the 'extended' role) will be able to withdraw items - which is considered a more sensitive action.

Managing Collections - more options for searching and display
In the Collection Resource Editor (Alma) - it would be really useful to have greater flexibility for searching within a collection. Can we have the option to search by MMS Id and keyword? At the moment only Title and Publisher are available.
This would be really useful when you don't know the specific title/publisher you are looking for - so you want to do a keyword search within the collection to browse. Also if you know the specific MMD id that would be useful too.
