Track data on what in a record was modified, and add that data to analytics.
We run a couple reports that look at when a record was last modified. But there are many reasons why a record might be marked as "modified". It would be great if we could create filters on what in the record was modified, such as item status, location change, barcode change, note added, etc. This could allow for things such as running reports on what items had their fulfillment note last modified after "X" date.

Process type "Lost and Paid" Should Not Be Added To Items After Waiving Their Lost Item Replacement Fees
We discovered that the process type "Lost and Paid" is applied to items whose Lost Replacement Fee has been waived by staff! This is misleading. It means that we have items marked as Lost and Paid where no money has exchanged hands. This can have financial audit/reconciliation implications if a report is generated on this process type without relying on other data to clarify past transactions.
I wonder if Alma could add an additional process type that would better distinguish between lost books that were actually paid for and those whose fee was forgiven by using, for example, "Lost and Closed" or "Lost and Waived", etc.
Has anyone else seen this behaviour in their instance of Alma? If so, are you fine with using Lost and Paid for both scenarios?

Adding 'Normalized Item Call Number' field to analytics, similar to existing 'Normalized call number' field
We would like to have 'Normalized Item Call Number', derived from 'Item Call Number', in analytics. This field is similar to 'Normalised Call Number' derived from holdings 'Call number'

Display purchase request approval/rejection reason in purchase request alerts in citations
We think it would be helpful for the purchase request approval/rejection alerts for citations in Alma to include the approval/rejection reason. This would appear in the Type field of the alert in addition to the "Citation Purchase Request Approved/Rejected" text (like how the rule used to approve/reject copyright for a citation appears after "Approved" or "Rejected" in the Copyright Status field).

Make the amount of a user account's TOTAL outstanding fees a feature in the Fines/Fees Notification Profiles
Presently, the amount-for-user-limit in the Fines/Fees Notification Profiles targets only those accounts with fees of the selected trigger fee type(s) that are all - BY THEMSELVES - in a certain range, let's say between 1 and 25 Euros. We want to be able to select fees of a certain fee type and a certain creation period to trigger a notification, but ONLY, if the TOTAL SUM of outstanding fees amounts to a certain sum. Thus, we could decide to send letters to heavily indebted accounts and e-mails to accounts that owe not much.
A second, immensely helpful improvement of the Fines/Fees Notification Profiles would be offering the exact opposite of the "Skip users with loans" option: If we had "Skip users WITHOUT loans" in addition, we could create perfect notification profiles for all unpaid fees cases without having to resort to manually created letters for accounts falling between the profiles' cracks.
Thank you very much for considering this wish and / or for supporting our case

Monitor Requests Workbench: export
When exporting (digitization) requests via the Monitor Request Workbench, we would like an overview containing also the specific request info (chapter title, pages...). The latter info can now only be obtained by manually clicking on "Edit" per request and this is only possible for active requests. For multiple digitization requests on 1 item, it is useful have all desired pages/titles exported in one overview for swift handling. Also for completed requests, it is valuable information to have all requested pages/titles in one overview.
Desired export:
- request ID + request info
- all requests (not only active)14 votes -
show exchange rate
Under the Summary tab, Pricing, have a Native Pricing line where the price is calculated with the current exchange rate. Also, in the Invoice Lines tab, allow for an option to show Native Pricing in the table settings.

RS Borrowing Requests - search by 'Old value' 'External ID'
'External ID' identifying reference numbers, are not fixed in Alma Resource Sharing. They can be overwritten by third parties, e.g. The British Library, RapidILL, and once overwritten, the previous External ID cannot be used to search for the request. However, the former identifier still appears in the 'History' tab of the request under 'Old value', so they are still somehow attached to the record. It would be great, then, if Ex Libris could enable search by 'History' or 'Old Value', so that if the number has been changed by a third party, we can still easily locate it with the previous reference number.

Customization of the search categories
The customization of the search categories to be displayed in the Advanced or Simple Search is solved very very awkwardly. 3 clicks for each category is just too complicated.
My suggestions:
- Make activation switch directly operable
- Make list sortable by activated terms
make
- Checkboxes for the terms in both columns for advanced and simple search
- Improve the explanation in the KB, because
translating "dc:Title" with "Dc Title" has no added value. An explanation that dc:title B is e.g. DUBLIN CORE title would be super, so that one knows what one activates there. Please improve at least the KB urgently!

Enable opting out of automatic deletion of unused labels in Resource Sharing
It should be possible to opt out of automatic deletion of unused labels. For example, we have a label "To be Checked" which is used frequently and we aim to remove it from all records by the end of every working day. The automatic deletion means that we have to re-enter the label the next day as there are usually no records left with the label.

Add a timestamp to 'modification date' for physical items and holdings in Physical Items area.
The timestamp and date of 'delete date' for physical items/holdings can only be found in "Manage Deleted Repository' in Alma.
It is good to have the timestamp appeared at the field 'modification date' of physical items/holdings in Analytics. It is particularly helpful when getting records of deleted items/holdings for weeding report.

Select multiple POL in communications with vendor
When using the communications functionality in the vendor account, it is only possible to select one POL from the list. It would be very convenient to be able to choose more than one POL.

Add a job that can set the CDI option collectively
We would like you to add a job to set "Activate for search in CDI" collectively for the electronic collection set of CZ.
Also, please add a job to batch update the following CDI options for the electronic collection set of IZ.
- CDI Search activation status
- We subscribe to only some titles in this collection
- CDI-only full text activation
- Do not show as Full Text available in CDI even if active in Alma59 votes -
Clone PO LInes to order again
We create different PO Lines for the same order. We need to put different funds, different reporting codes or order more items.
There is no way to clone the PO Line as a way to keep all information and just edit the fields that we have to update.
We need to clone and put the clone in review to edit the fields we need to change and send it to the vendor.

Add "Loans (Not in House) From Resource Sharing Lending Request" measure
Currently in the Fulfillment subject area in Analytics, there is a measure for "Loans (Not in House) From Resource Sharing Borrowing Request". It would be helpful if any item loaned from our collection to another institution as part of a RS lending request have a loan measure applied to it as well so we can see how the collection is being used using just one report.

Customize "Add Invoice Line" fields for past serial invoices
Serials invoicing does not always use the same tax status (taxable vs exempt) for every invoice based on material type and frequency. Our campus uses the Reporting Codes to record tax category. When adding an invoice line in an invoice, using a Subscription POL brings up display of past invoices, but the Reporting Code fields are not available. We would greatly appreciate being able to see the First Reporting Code in addition to the Notes (where we record enumeration)

Change Opening Hours calendar 'Apply Changes' from link to button
Currently the 'Apply Changes' link on the Open Hours configuration page is easy to miss. Since it is so crucial to click this when editing timings (such as End of Term), it should be more prominent. I would suggest making it a big button right next to Save, that will be greyed out if there are no changes to apply.

Additional SMS possibilities using webhooks
I would like to suggest additional SMS possibilities when using webhooks. Currently, there are only four SMS message possibilities triggered when using webhooks (Borrowing Activity Letter, Fulfillment Cancel Request Letter, Loan Status Notice, and On Hold Shelf Letter). Others that would be very helpful to include with webhooks are:
Courtesy Letter, sent to patrons before their items are due
Ful Overdue and Lost Loan Notification Letter, sent to patrons after their items have become overdue
