add course name to the course tab on the user profile
At the moment the only columns available in the Course tab on the user profile is course code and section.
Course codes will often consist of a line of numbers so the option to add course name as a column would add great value.

API access to Item's edit history
For rolling back changes in a batch of items, it would be extremely useful to have API access to the Item Changes that are reported in the History tab of each item record.

Make "Send Query to Patron" option available in other areas of Alma
The Send Query to Patron function found under Fulfillment - Resource Sharing - Borrowing Requests - More actions (on item) is a great tool for notifying patrons within a request without having to cancel the request to send a note. Can this be made available elsewhere in the system (e.g. Pick from Shelf, Patron Requests, Network Activity, etc.) for quick and easy access to the function?

Add a field for Library URL to the Library details that can be used in Letters.
Hello,
Most of libraries have a separate website with all relevant information for patrons. In Patron facing letters in Alma it would be useful to have a link to this library website.
Currently, there is no dedicated field in library details configuration where such link could be stored and then passed to the letters.
Please add a dedicated field for library website in library details configuration and feed this field to the Alma Letters.
Best regards,

Block lenders from updating expired lending requests to shipped
Alma currently allows libraries to ship lending resource sharing requests even after they expire. This can occasionally create extremely confusing situations where the borrowing library receives multiple items from multiple libraries for the same lending request. Unfortunately, Alma completes both the borrowing and lending request when the lender who let the reqeust expire receives the item they shipped back from the lender. The only way to fix a problem like this is to delete the original reqeust at all three libraries and then create a brand new request. Can you please have Alma block any attempt to update a lending reqeust to shipped after it has expired?

Add all fields from Invoice Payment Information area to Analytics
Currently the only field from the Invoice Payment Information area that is available in the Funds Expenditure subject area is Payment Status. I would like to be able to retrieve Payment Date, Payment Identifier, and Payment Amount in Analytics as well. These would be helpful for some of my reporting, especially when the payment amount is different from the invoice total because accounts payable has added or removed tax.

Receiving Note - Ability to see when the note was last modified and by who
It would be great if there was a way to see which operator added Receiving Note and when the note was added. We are trying to go through and update receiving notes, and are coming across some that we would like to get answers for. However, we aren't sure who placed the note in the first place and it could have been years ago.
Being able to see who modified the receiving note last and when it was created would allow us to follow-up with the appropriate people or realize they no longer work with us, and move forward on making decisions. Thanks!
(If this exists already, I'd love to know how to find the info...)It would be great if there was a way to see which operator added Receiving Note and when the note was added. Add Normalized Call Numbers to eBook & eJournal Analytic Reports
Many academic departments ask for accreditation reports that count resources available for students. We typically use Library of Congress Call Number ranges from the OCLC conspectus to get counts of resources. The report runs well for all physical items. However, eBooks and eJournals (both ubiquitous to our collection) do not have normalized call numbers as a part of an analytics report. Therefore the counts of titles between a range of Call Numbers is not correct.

Ability to queue borrowing requests for a temporarily inactive partner
Hi,
For resource sharing, we use Alma partners with the ISO profile type that are part of the Libraries Australia Document Delivery (LADD) network. When partner libraries suspend themselves from LADD services, their Status updates in Alma to Inactive.
However, sometimes a Library is the only possible lender of material. In these cases, we would prefer to wait until the Library becomes Active again, instead of trying to source a partner overseas (for us in Australia, time-consuming and much more expensive, plus challenges with postal delays). At present, we add a Note to the request that it is to be Sent to the partner Library at a later date. However, it would be great to have functionality to 'queue' the request against the Inactive partner, so that once the partner's Status became Active again, the request sent automatically.

A new design for the homepage of ALMA
It would be really lovely if the homepage to ALMA was colourful and bright with easy access to the major functions we use in the library. For example there could be a homepage that has different bubbles (5 in a circle with one in the middle for example) and people can drag and drop their 6 most used icons. For library assistants this would be super useful if we could open ALMA and instantly be able to issue / return books / search for a service users name / card number for easy access. It would also be great if you didn't have to press 'go' constantly but rather press the return button to search for someone.
Many thanks

Searching/Connecting Barcodes from other Institutions (Consortium)
In a Consortium, it is currently not possible to look up an item from another institution zone with its barcode in Alma. It's also not possible to connect the fee to an item from another institution zone, based on this same architecture issue.
We would like to have the possibility to search for items from other institutions to, among other things, place request on them on behalf of a patron directly in Alma - therefore this Idea goes along with https://ideas.exlibrisgroup.com/forums/308173-alma/suggestions/17887696-initiate-consortium-fulfillment-requests-for-items

Please allow to link PO Lines with status "Cancelled" in the Physical Item Editor
It is possible to select a PO Line in the Physical Item Editor. This also works well for PO Lines that already have the status "Closed".
However, it does not work for PO Lines with status "Cancelled". But it happens from time to time that we cancel a continuation order, but not all volumes already paid for have been delivered.
It is not an option for us to just close such PO Lines, as the distinction between "Closed" and "Cancelled" is important to us.
Thank you!

Ability To Search Invoices By Payment Status
We would like the ability to search invoices by payment status. This is important to us because we bulk export invoices (XML), one campus at a time. For example, we need to be able to check that all invoices in Ready to Be Paid status are of one campus before we send to the integration.

Seasonal Serials Prediction Patterns only work when beginning with Spring.
Area of concern: Serials Prediction in Alma.
Currently, when creating 853 predictive patterns, there are limitations to titles with a seasonal frequency. Attempting to create seasonal prediction patterns, whose enumerations begin with anything but Spring (21) results in errors, such as skipped issues, or improper numbering.
This limitation means that many journals with seasonal patterns cannot have their issues correctly predicted out through Alma’s automated process. Staff members are stuck manually creating/receiving issues for these titles. This decreases efficiency, increases the likelihood of human error, and prevents Alma’s claiming process from working correctly.
What should be changed: As Serials Processors, we would like to have the option for a seasonal prediction pattern to begin enumeration with any season. This would benefit our workflow by allowing these titles to be predicted and eliminating the need to receive them manually.

Add fields, ‘Pattern Type’ and ‘Linking Number’ to the ‘Change Physical Items’ Job
Area of concern: Additional indexes for ‘Change Physical Items’ Job.
Please reference Ex Libris presentation ‘Automation Tasks for Summary Holdings’:
In order for 863/866 Summary Holdings generation to work properly, each item record must contain certain information in the ‘Pattern Type’ and ‘Linking Number’ fields. Currently, neither of these fields are available via the ‘Change Physical Items’ job.
What should be changed: As Serials Processors, we would like item level fields, ‘Pattern Type’ and ‘Linking Number’, made editable via the ‘Change Physical Items’ Job. Being able to change these fields in batch would benefit our workflow by allowing us to quickly optimize our records for Automated Summary Holdings generation. This would save a massive amount of time when compared with editing each item record individually.

Map item level fields, Pattern Type and Linking Number in Analytics.
Area of concern: Analytics Fields for Reporting on Serials 863/866 Generation.
Please reference Ex Libris presentation ‘Automation Tasks for Summary Holdings’:
In order for 863/866 Summary Holdings generation to work properly, each item record must contain certain information in the ‘Pattern Type’ and ‘Linking Number’ fields. Currently, these fields are not mapped in analytics, so there is no way to report on which records lack this info. Without this reporting capability, we are stuck individually checking many thousands of records to be sure they have the required information.
What should be changed: As Serials Processors, we would like to have item level fields, ‘Pattern Type’ and ‘Linking Number’ mapped in Analytics so that they are easily reportable. This would benefit our workflow by allowing us to easily locate item records that do not have this information filled in. If we can find and correct those items efficiently, then we can optimize our records for Automated Summary Holdings generation.

Alma MDE: Filter by Marc21 field and subfield
As a cataloger I would like to have the possibility in MDE to filter the Marc21 data by field and subfield
value to have a better overview over the current part of the data which is to be checked/edited.
Further I would like to have the possibility to quick access filters which i use often.Proposal:
Add a possibility to filter by field and subfield, e.g. by having an input form for the Marc21
field (rows filtered by "Begins with {value}") and for the Marc21 subfield (rows filtered by
"Contains {value}"). The filtering should by done by "AND" condition. (See attached screenshot for an example of how it could look).Add a possibility to quick access filters. e.g. by having a list of the latest used filters from
which the user can choose or by letting the user save the current filter to a list.As a cataloger I would like to have the possibility in MDE to filter the Marc21 data by field and subfield
