schedule job api support "Reload & Delete"
Currently there are api interface to trigger running of schedule job. However there are situation where OAI repositories does not support tracking deleted items, therefore, the current solution is to update import profile harvest start date and run "Delete & Reload" manually from time to time. We would like to suggest to include support to update import profile parameter and running of "Delete & Reload" job.

Implement the Counter Registry API
Tasha from COUNTER asked (during ER&L 2024) if anyone had spoken with ExL about implementing the registry API. In the registry, there's SUSHI details, contact details, and notifications. Harvesting from COUNTER registry would reduce complications and would alert librarians to any problems.
Tamar, Tasha, Beda, and I discussed this in person at ER&L 2024. :)

Add letter resend to Privileges Report so that it can be added to other roles and removed from Fulfillment Admin
Issue - Currently we need to give staff in reader services the Fulfillment Administrator role so that they can resend emails on users accounts. This role is too significant and gives reader services staff access to change loan rules and other processes.
Solution - Could Letter Resend be added to the Privileges Report so that it can be added to more appropriate roles (User Admin or User Manager). And it could then be removed from Fulfillment Administrator role.4 votes -
Clicking on the 'tick' alert takes directly to the notification
Clicking on the 'tick' on the Alert column on a reading list (in the Reading List Task List) would take you directly to the list of citations filtered to 'Any Alerts', or would open the 'Notes' tab if the notification is for a Library Discussion Note at list level.

New PO line: Add pickup capabilities to autocomplete fields (for example, Interested users)
The following improvements were implemented to New Layout for PO Lines in Alma February 2024 release, so the pickup capability has been added to the Venders and Funds:

Improvement to the New Layout for PO Lines
February 2024 Acquisitions
Some improvements were implemented to the new layout for PO Lines. The existing Material Supplier and Fund fields were enhanced to allow users to select the value from a list which opens in a sliding panel. This is in addition to the existing option of selecting a value from the dropdown menu or typing the name of the vendor/fund.
However, the "Interested Users" does not yet have the pickup capability. This makes it more time-consuming to find and register users compared to the old UI
- When searching users with two kanji characters family name, entering the family name in the ‘Add Interested User’ field often retrieves no result.
- Due to the large number of "Interested Users" candidates, it is difficult to find the correct user by scrolling through the search box.
Please add the pickup capability to the "Interested Users" as well. This would greatly improve the efficiency of the process.

Improve E-Resource Activation Task handling for additional copy ebook orders
Currently when an additional copy of an already active ebook is ordered, there is no e-resource task added to the Electronic Resource Activation Task List, since the resource is already active. However, we add interested users to almost all of our ebooks, and if there is no activation task, the interested users are never being notified.
If the ebook order is already on an active item, it would be nice if the interested users would automatically be notified, or just have an e-resource activation task added as normal to fulfill the process of notifying the interested users.2 votes -
Unified PO Line Task List: Make the identifier field editable again
The identifier field in its new form allows for users to either select an existing value from a fold-down list or to enter a new value.
However, editing a value has become incredibly cumbersome. As the cursor cannot be placed in the current content of the field, users wanting to edit it have to copy the content to the clipboard, paste it in the field again and then perform the edit. From our point of view, this new feature is a regression.
It is not by choice that we often edit the identifier field, but because we see no alternative to using it for PO line-specific shipping addresses, as a dedicated field for such data still does not exist in PO line records (cf. https://ideas.exlibrisgroup.com/forums/308173-alma/suggestions/47439848-ability-to-define-a-shipping-address-per-po-line).The identifier field in its new form allows for users to either select an existing value from a fold-down list or to enter a new value.

Reverse Bursar Export and Restore State of Items and Fines/Fees
Have the ability to immediately reverse a Bursar Export and restore the state of items and fines/fees. This would be a good quick thing to have in case you have made an error.

Death of a patron - Need to immediately and permanently cease sending all letters
In the unfortunate event that we learn that a patron passes away, we need a quick, clear, and finite procedure to immediately and permanently cease/stop any and all IZ and NZ notifications to the patron's email account, especially those that are tied to a SIS load (Example: Banner). College administration directs the library to ensure no emails are sent to the deceased's email account. We need to be able to definitively state to college administrators "Absolutely zero communications, automated or manually generated, will be sent regarding the deceased patron's library account from the IZ or NZ."
Existing work-arounds include toggling the account to internal, removing the email from the account, or entering a fake email; or use of the "Patron Opt-in/Opt-out function" that does not cover all possible letters. However, work-arounds are insufficient and not best practice. As it stands, any patron account toggled external (account information controlled by SIS), will continue to be subject to automated and manual notifications outside of the letter list. Our college uses "Banner" for our SIS. Whereas Banner will eventually remove the patron, there is a governing policy which states the college must retain student records for three years, which means the purge date could be up to three years away from the expiration date of the patron account. Our instance of Alma is also part of a shared library system (consortia NZ) and part of an AFN (automated fulfillment network) and thus linked records may exist in other systems, which would not apply in most Alma instances. As part of the AFN, patron notifications originate from the lending institution and not the patron's home institution. We do have a procedure to remove items involving the AFN from the patron record, however that takes time. The need to block notifications is immediate under these circumstances.
We recently received notification about the tragic death of a patron and the college made it clear that the family should not (ever, now or in the future) receive any notifications about any college business such as overdue notices. I am 100% in agreement with the college's policy. We would like to honor that policy, but if we toggle the student's account as internal, the account will likely not be purged according to the college's policies. It would be best if we maintained the record as externally controlled by SIS and simply prevent generation of any notifications, period. The need is to have a very simple way to instantly stop any and all notifications from being generated from the deceased's account in their home institution as well as any linked accounts via a simple, clearly labeled toggle switch available in the patron's account by an operator with the appropriate permissions/role.

Loan due date should appear in Facets and/or Analytics
It should be possible to the the actual Loan Due Date given to the patron, in addition to the Due Date given by the Lender in Facets.
It should also be possible to retrieve a list of such RS requests by Loan Due Date via Analytics.1 vote -
Data visualization to include export to Excel/CSV function
Currently users without Design analytic role can use Data visualization(DV) reports but they can only export report in PDF, powerpoint. It would be very useful to have an export of data in Excel or CSV.

Bulk update letter labels
The system should have an ability to bulk update all letter labels in a single place. It is especially important after a premium sandbox refresh that you would want to update Email subject or From address to show that email is coming from Sandbox but not from Production. The current system has ability to export labels per letters but it is too tidious to export labels for over a hundred letters. It can also be used to keep track of changes by exporting labels.

Move requests and temporary locations - option to flag for processing, etc.
At present the item move requests sometimes work too seamlessly. Especially for items that are onloan when the request are made (or the item is restored to its permanent location). This is an issue when the items need manual intervention, e.g. relabelling. Items go through the process without being flagged unless another process is used, e.g. a work order or fulfillment note.
It should be possible to flag items for manual intervention when they arrive at their new or original location. A message on the lines of 'Move Request: check labels etc.,' in the manner of a fulfillment note.

Allow license on NZ - managed electronic resources to be viewed by member institutions in their IZs
For electronic resources activated in the Network Zone where access is distributed to member institutions in the consortium, license terms attached to the e-resources cannot be viewed in the IZs of member institutions. License terms can be viewed by institutions only by searching Primo VE, only if "Enable Display of License Information" is enabled in their Fulfillment configurations. This is not an optimal way to search and view license terms for these resources are shared via the NZ.
Since institutions in the consortium have access to the resource via the Network Zone, it would be beneficial if staff at member institutions can see license information on NZ activated e-resources in their own Alma instance, considering that they cannot log into the NZ Alma to access those terms.

2) Go to the portfolio list
3) Search for the title

Save Facet Settings
There are facet settings/searches we tend to run more than others. It would be really excellent and save a lot of duplicated work if it was possible to save certain facet configurations or bookmark the search so we could quickly access it again later. Would be even better if those searches could be shared among our staff, like how public sets are.
An example would be having a saved Request/Process type facet filter so we could quickly see what items were needing to be shipped physically, but there are any number of facet searches that it would be fantastic to have one-click access to.

Add Lender/Borrower addresses to Label code table in select Fulfillment and Resource Sharing letters
Fulfillment letters and Resource Sharing related letters would benefit from having an easy mailing label field, to be toggled on and off in the “Labels” section for letter editing when a Library would like to add a mailing label to a letter.
With collaboration from our Alliance colleagues, we created a shipping label directly on our Ful Resource Sharing Request letter. When we print our pull slips, a second page is automatically generated with a printed mailing label with the Borrowing Schools address information, along with information to allow our mail room to expense it to the correct fund. By adding this to the pull slip, we skip needing to print a separate shipping label later, increasing our efficiency and saving paper.
We think this is a valuable enhancement to the use of this letter, and think it should be added as a “label” or set of labels to toggle on and off for other folks to use and not have to write the extensive coding we did. We like not having to waste paper and cut out extra steps when doing Resource Sharing.
We also think this could be added to other letters, such as the Borrowing Receive letter, to be kept with the item until we need to mail it back.
