  1. Add item policy to the summary tab in Acquisitions when placing an order

    It would be useful to have the library, physical location and item policy on the same page when creating an order. At the moment when ordering a print item we add the library and physical item location and then have to go back and click on the library to enter the item policy which creates an extra click.

  2. Please allow to link PO Lines with status "Cancelled" in the Physical Item Editor

    It is possible to select a PO Line in the Physical Item Editor. This also works well for PO Lines that already have the status "Closed".

    However, it does not work for PO Lines with status "Cancelled". But it happens from time to time that we cancel a continuation order, but not all volumes already paid for have been delivered.

    It is not an option for us to just close such PO Lines, as the distinction between "Closed" and "Cancelled" is important to us.

  3. SUSHI Account filter and a new filter under the Usage Data tab of the Vendor Details page

    Can the SUSHI Account filter under the Usage Data tab of the Vendor Details page list only the SUSHI Accounts that have been used to harvest usage that particular vendor?

    Also, I think it would be great if we could filter the usage reports under the Usage Data tab of the Vendor Details page by COUNTER release version (4 vs 5).

  4. Provide a way to select and download multiple usage reports under Vendor Details > Usage Data tab.

    I saw that the ability to select & delete multiple usage reports has been planned for development. Along with the ability to select & delete multiple usage reports, it would would be great to have the ability to select & download multiple files from the list of usage reports under the Vendor Details > Usage Data tab.

  5. Add usage statistics -field for other statistics than Counter

    A need for a new Usage Statistics -field that could be used for usage statistics other than Counter. Smaller e-journal etc. publishers don't have Sushi statistics but libraries collect usage data another way. The new usage statistics field should be for every year. The Usage Statistics -field should work on the Analytics. Statistics notes -field is also required.

  8. Linking of licence amendments back to the main licence.

    Licence records link really well to their amendments - from within the licence record there is an amendment tab and you can link straight through to the amendment.

    If you're looking at the amendment record the only way to get back to the base licence is from the search results screen by going to base instead of edit.

    It would be really good to have a base tab in the amendment record similar to the amendment tab that already exists in the base licence record.

  9. Allow harvesting of reports with the non-standard SN:Total_Chapter_Request metric

    I noticed that some vendors - Taylor and Francis and Springer- are adding this non-standard metric - SN:TotalChapterRequest - to their TR Master Reports. These are 2 big vendors, and these TR master reports won't load into Alma with this nonstandard metric in them.. I was hoping there is a way to accommodate them and allow them to load.

  10. Add Vendor Reference ID to search index

    At present, we search Vendor Reference ID with the searching criteria of All. However, All does not provide a exact search result for the target Vendor Reference ID but for all the expressions part. Please consider adding Vendor Reference ID to the normal or advanced search criteria for PO Lines.

  11. Allow locally created options for SUSHI scheduling

    Options for SUSHI schedule are fairly limited. Different libraries have varying deadlines for statistics to be reported to administrators. It would be nice if libraries could add a personalized schedule to when SUSHI harvesting is accomplished, especially given the time lag between when it is run and when data is available in analytics, which can make manually running it impractical.

  12. License Section Names

    I would like to be able to add my own license section names not just rearrange the order. The current names don't really match well with our agreements. In addition, there are other clauses that don't really fit under the only available sections. It really limits the usefulness of the license terms area.

  13. Trial : request of a Trial viewer role

    There are 3 roles about Trials : administrator, operator and participant.
    But none gives access to the Trials and all information with only option to view (and not delete neither modify datas).
    A license viewer role exists in ALMA ; we request a similar Trial viewer role.

    hi, Copy and modify a specific attribute value from its original value or from another attribute value is commonly needed and will be helpful. For example, copy the fund expenditure for physical items to the corresponding inventory price in the physical items, which will be helpful for asset management.

  16. Allow user to select ASCII (with) sort or Library sort (without) initial articles.

    Allow choice of schema for sorting any title list with or without the initial article. Right now my packing lists are sorted by title without the A, An, The.

    Receiving when the packing list is library sort and Alma is ASCII sort is highly confusing and requires lots of scrolling and paging back and forth.

  17. Digital Deposit Order Letters

    Currently there are letters in Alma for legal deposit orders and legal deposit claims. We have legislation for digital legal deposit which requires a different order letter to be sent out to publishers. Even a generic letter configuration that could be sent to any vendor would be useful. All libraries could change the words as required.

  18. Add Licensing Agent field to results info

    It would be beneficial to have the Licensing Agent field included in the columns when viewing results in license searches. Currently the License Code is present, but including the Licensing Agent field would be very useful.

  19. POL and its communication must be sent to account provider email

    At the moment in ALMA, if a POL has a communication:
    • the POL is sent in a first notification to accound provider email
    • the communication (with its file attached) is sent in a second notification to provider email.
    This behavour is not logical and doesn't respond to our need.
    Our request : POL and communication (with files attached) must be sent to accound provider email in one notification.

  20. Make the "Has Content" indicator responsive not just to tables and lists, but also to fields and drop-down options

    The "Has Content" indication appears only when a table or list on the tab contains contents, but not if it has information in the "form section" (https://www.screencast.com/t/F7G5uKmvcnh). Some tabs (e.g., Licenses> License Details > License Terms) only have a form section though, so the "Has Content" indicator will never appear regardless of whether it contains populated fields.
