  1. Add other participants to trial after initial trial email is sent

    There is only one opportunity to send out a "participate in trial' email. This means that although it is possible to add a participant to the trial, no email is sent out to this person if the initial trial email has been sent.

    It would be great to have the option of sending an email to individual or all participants again.

  2. Access Different Desks

    If you are working on a project in acquisitions and someone comes to the desk to check out a book, the acquisitions project must be scuttled in order to switch over to fulfillment. It would be great to have access to both desks at once (perhaps on different tabs) so that involved projects don't need to be randomly scuttled.

  3. Add an Owning Library facet in Repository searches

    Can we please have the owning library added as a facet in repository searches. At the moment it only appears in Acquisitions based searches as we have four libraries making up our collections this facet would also be very useful in the general searching

  4. Make modification date of user account available in the User API (v2)

    In the earlier SOAP-based version of the Alma User API, the last modification date of a user account was an available field. However, in the current REST-based API, that field is no longer available.

    This piece of information is very important to us when we synchronize Alma data to ILLiad via our custom ILLiad login script. That allows to us update ILLiad as needed and insert an accurate modification date into a user's ILLiad account.

  5. Keep user in Received Items List after Receiving a new item.

    Receive New Material - Action > Manage Items = Action > Receive.
    Why does Alma throw me out of the Received Items List, and back into the Receive New Material Screen - after I have received a new item?
    It is very inconvenient to have to click, click back into Action > Manage Items to continue working with items in this same title.
    This did not happen before last week.
    Seems to be a result of the August 2016 release?
    Please stop this automatic screen back up. I prefer to stay in the Received Items List in order to see…

  6. Ability to remove Associated PO Lines from a POL

    If we add a POL # to the Additional section of a POL > Associated PO Lines and then discover that it was incorrect we are not able to remove it. We can change it but not remove it.

    We would like to be able to remove the Associated PO Lines if we find that we have made a mistake

  7. Add previous price information to Column options

    Already some time ago a new feature, to see previous invoices, was added in Acq in Alma. This is useful and even better if the previous prices were visible too (see screenshot). Is this something that Libis could configure for us?

  8. Show editions of books when a repository search is done in either Physical Title search, or Physical Item search, not just all item search

    It's frustrating to do a physical title search or physical item search and only be showing the year of publication but not the edition, the edition only seems to show in an all item search.

  9. Add fields for Title of unit and other descriptors to the Item Record OR add radial buttons to Item record and description templates

    Currently, there is no good way to use the “Generate” button in the item record to create descriptions for supplements and indexes. In the interest of consistency, we intentionally do NOT enter the descriptions manually, which greatly improves searching and sorting of serials.
    While it is possible to have supplements and indexes list separately by creating separate records and adding the $o (unit title) to field 864 (supplements) or 865 (indexes), the holdings list does not display the unit title, so there is no visual difference between the two holdings.   10. Associating with more than one POL

    Currently you can only associate a POL with one other POL. I would like the ability to associate a single POL with multiple POLs. This is helpful in associating different titles that are paid in a single package, or arrive together.

  11. "Acquisition method"

    When creating a "PO Line" would it be possible in the "PO Line Summary" tab to move the "PO Line details" from near the bottom to the top as it actually makes more sense to select the "Acquisition Method" first as it dictates what fields you need to fill in, e.g. "Legal Deposit" means "Pricing" and "Funding" etc. become inactive and are no longer required fields. I know if you use a template it doesn't matter because you it populates that field for you but in terms of workflow it seems backwards.

  12. SIS - Save Rejected records in XML format for re-load

    Currently rejected records from the SIS batch upload process are only identified in the event log. It would be very useful if the rejected records were saved to a separate file in XML format. This would allow for easier re-load once the load error is resolved.

  13. When viewing an item, there should be an option to edit without leaving the item screen

    When you view an item (or click on the barcode to view an item), there should be an option on the item screen to edit the item. Instead, if we decide we need to edit the item, we have to back out of the item screen, then select Actions --> edit to edit the item. Too many clicks!

  14. Analytics Report for Staff Activity

    I would like the ability to analyze staff activity in Alma Analytics (how many times a staff member checks something out or in, marks something missing, scans in an item for fulfillment, etc.)

  15. Add breadcrumb trail to staff interface

    In Alma, the information displayed often depends on the task you are working on to get there. This is a nice feature, but it would be helpful if breadcrumbs were displayed to help track how you arrived at the screen.

    This would be especially helpful to new users.

  16. Cursor auto-return after refresh

    Can the field that you are editing be the one that centralizes the display after the screen is refreshed. When creating/editing a POL you are constantly returned to the top of the screen after you enter each piece of data, no matter how far down the form you are.

  17. Improve the ease of reordering the Online Services Order and General Electronic Services Order tables

    Currently, items in the General Electronic Services Order and Online Services Order tables need to be moved using up and down arrows. This can be very time-consuming if the tables contain numerous items. It would significantly improve the ease of use i, the items in this list could be resorted either through drag-and-drop or by moving a given item to a numbered slot in the table (similar to the Netflix interface).

    PO Line - Communications

    It is not possible to add all order communications with the vendor into one tab "Communications". All communcations that's starts from the vendor can not register here, only the communications that's starts from the library.
    It is not possible to select a communication type that's not sending a email to a vendor in the communication tab.
    It is very important for us that the chronology of communications is saved in one tab and not in many tabs.

  19. import profiles -- need the option to leave suppression codes "as is"

    When creating an import profile, the “set management tags” option is to either suppress record/s from publish/delivery, or to not suppress. This is for the entire file.

    We need a third option to leave the existing suppress status unchanged for replaced and merged records. (We had this option in Voyager, and it worked well)

    Rational: All GPO weekly brief Marcive records are loaded suppressed. When the monthly bib records overlay the weekly brief records, the suppress status needs to remain as is. “If” the bib record is suppressed, the cataloger will unsuppress at the point of cataloging

  20. More POL parameters/Mappaing fields to be needed in Import Profile (EOD)

    We suggest that more parameters or mapping fields can be provided in creating the EOD profile. For example, we add on the profile, we want to set POL Status as EOD General parameter - Auto Packing, Manual Manual Packaging and In review.
