  1. Enable embedding fund balance graphs and data on Alma Home Screen

    Fund balance data from Analytics is inaccurate as data is piped in to Analytics on a daily basis, making fund balance widgets created in Analytics less useful for checking available balances. We would like to request the ability to quickly access up-to-the moment fund and available balances available under each fund under Acquisitions > Funds and Ledgers > Fund > Reports in home page widgets. This would enable staff placing order to check live fund balances easily on a regular basis.

  2. Change the parameters in "Item Search in Amazon"

    Change the parameters in "Item Search in Amazon" to include media (specifically DVD's and music CD's) and/or an "all" option so that all materials can be processed through this one workflow instead of just books or magazines.

  3. Information about the "Interested Users" in the List "Electronic Resource Activation Task List" is needed

    To work with the "Interested User"-Functionality in the context of Electronic Resources we need the Information about the "Interested Users" in the List "Electronic Resource Activation Task List" in a seperate column.

  4. Invoice - Vendor account - Mandatory field configurable

    The vendor account field in the invoice details should be a mandatory field. This is not configurable. We have not a choice here in the vendor field and the vendor account field will not filled in automatically. Please, change this.

  5. Add fund rules fields to Tools>Excel export in Funds and Ledgers search results screen

    Support have confirmed that it's not possible for an Alma user to access reporting on the fund rules fields e.g. over expenditure allowed, over-expenditure limit etc.

    They suggest the quickest way to achieve this would be to add these fields as columns to the Tools>Excel export function in the fund and ledger search results screen.

  6. Automated Invoicing for Amazon

    Amazon is a common supplier of materials for many libraries and the current process of needing to manually enter invoices in Alma is very slow and tedious. I don't believe Amazon supports EDI, but they do provide invoice/order information in CSV format. It would be really great to have the ability to automate or batch load Amazon invoices.

    There isn't a possibility to configure the display of a journal's 'Description'. It is possible to edit templates in MD editor to configure which subfields will be displayed, however the display order of these fields is NOT configurable.

    We need a configuration possibility for journal's 'Description'.

  8. Can option for viewing 'Ready to be Paid' invoices be added to Acquisitions menu?

    In the 'Receiving and Invoicing' section of the Acquisitions menu,
    there are options for displaying invoices in various stages of processing: 'Review', 'Approve' and 'Waiting for Payment'. (See Alma_menu.PNG)

    It would be very useful to be able to display invoices 'Ready to be Paid' - i.e., which have passed the review stage and await running of the job for export to ERP, which changes them to 'Waiting for Payment' status.
    Can the menu be configured to include this option?

    Description Hello,

    This is an enhancement request.

    Even when an electronic collection is linked to a bibliographic record in the Additional descriptive information field of the collection record and when an Electronic Collection PO line is linked to the collection, it currently is not possible to get to the PO line when we look up the title as "All titles" and click on the "More info" link. We have to use an Electronic Collection search to get to the title…

    We need the display of the local price in addition to the foreign currency price on the Invoice Lines tab and in the POL summary tab. That's very important for us.

  11. Filter Acquisitions POL sets by fiscal period

    Manage Sets is useful for quick lists of orderlines but it's not possible to filter by fiscal period. This results in large sets which take a long time to display and then need to be filtered offline in Excel.

    Adding a new filter of fiscal period in Acquisitions Manage Sets could help reduce the load on Alma and produce more relevant sets.

  12. Add previous price information to Column options

    Already some time ago a new feature, to see previous invoices, was added in Acq in Alma. This is useful and even better if the previous prices were visible too (see screenshot). Is this something that Libis could configure for us?

  13. Add other participants to trial after initial trial email is sent

    There is only one opportunity to send out a "participate in trial' email. This means that although it is possible to add a participant to the trial, no email is sent out to this person if the initial trial email has been sent.

    It would be great to have the option of sending an email to individual or all participants again.

  14. Allow different configuration of Interested User emails for ebook orders

    Currently the automatic email for the Interested User of an ebook order isn't triggered until the status of the order changes from 'Sent' to 'Waiting for Invoice'.
    It would be beneficial if we could configure the emails differently to allow an alternative trigger eg the activation date.

    This would eliminate the current considerable delays between the ebook being available and the sending of the email.

  15. Send claims for journal issues for providers without EDI

    We have a lot of journal providers for our legal deposit. As they may be associations or other small institution, they don't work with EDI.
    Quite often, we don't receive issues. So we want to send them claims. But these are not sent automatically in Alma for subscriptions.
    We suggest Alma sends claims for issues that haven't been received to the e-mail address defined for the provider (vendor), taking into account the claiming grace period.

  16. "Save and dismiss" button in "Manage EDI Tasks"

    In the "Manage EDI Tasks", when using the "Update Expected Receipt Date" action, updating the date and clicking on "Save", it would be great the concerned line would automatically be removed from the list without having additionally to click on "Dismiss". A new function button like "Save and dismiss" would be helpful.

  17. Option for whether or not to carry forward Funds and Ledgers in a rollover

    This concerns the Financial Year Rollover rules for rolling over the Funds and Ledgers.

    It has become evident after each annual rollover we perform that these rules are carried forward to the new Fiscal Period in their entirety, without any option not to.

    This is frustrating for us, because as an institution we set our expenditure limits on a fund by fund basis. However, we appreciate that this may not be the case for other institutions.

    As such, would it please be possible to press for an additional option applied to the rollover job for Funds and Ledgers, whereby we…

  18. "Acquisition method"

    When creating a "PO Line" would it be possible in the "PO Line Summary" tab to move the "PO Line details" from near the bottom to the top as it actually makes more sense to select the "Acquisition Method" first as it dictates what fields you need to fill in, e.g. "Legal Deposit" means "Pricing" and "Funding" etc. become inactive and are no longer required fields. I know if you use a template it doesn't matter because you it populates that field for you but in terms of workflow it seems backwards.

  19. Sort option required for Vendor Account in Vendor Details > Invoice tab

    When navigating to a Vendor record and clicking on the Invoice tab, it's immediately apparent that one can sort several columns in ascending/descending alphabetic or numeric order:

    • Invoice
    • Date
    • Creation From
    • Creation Date
    • Last Updated Date
    • # of Lines
    • Total Price

    The one column that seems to be missing the up/down arrows that would facilitate sorting is Vendor Account. Why is this?

    We'd like to request that sorting is applied to this column as well. Staff find it odd to have to download all invoices into a spreadsheet and then sort according to this criterion, but not have to do…

  20. Cursor auto-return after refresh

    Can the field that you are editing be the one that centralizes the display after the screen is refreshed. When creating/editing a POL you are constantly returned to the top of the screen after you enter each piece of data, no matter how far down the form you are.
