The list of languages to be shown in their original characters (Advanced search option))
Currently the display language of the list of target records' languages is subject to change. There is no option to customize it on Primo BO, but it would be great if we can show them in their original characters.

[Primo] - ask for confirmation when running delete pipe
Right now, when clicking on 'Execute', the Pipe starts immediately.
Especially in the case of 'delete' pipe, a popup asking for confirmation could help preventing unwanted deletions from the system.7 votes -
Adding a hierarchical tree display option to Collection Lobby
Please add a hierarchical tree display option to Collection Lobby. When a top-level collection has many sub-collections across all depth level, it's too hard to browse individual collections and titles.

DDA portfolios should be presented as Online Preview Available or something else
DDA portfolios (e.g. ProQuest E-book Preview) should be presented as Online Preview Available or something distinguishable that the institution can customize. Patrons are often confused.

We would like the ability to weight certain PCI results higher than others (ie. Hathitrust)
We have an example journal of Index Medicus. When we search this record in our blended local and PCI search the hathitrust PCI record does not display until the 3rd-4th page: https://purdue-primo-prod.hosted.exlibrisgroup.com/primo-explore/search?query=any,contains,index%20medicus&tab=default_tab&search_scope=everything&sortby=rank&vid=PURDUE&mode=Basic&offset=0
If we want to withdraw the print record, because it is available in hathitrust, having this on the 3rd-4th page is not acceptable. We would like the ability to boost or weight certain PCI resources, based on the collection name, higher within our results.

Improve the Cite them Right Harvard CSL file to correct errors
Cite them Right Harvard does not display correctly. I have a 2 page list of errors! e.g. Surname, First name, when it should be Surname, initial. In journals the publisher appears.
Please work with Cite them Right Online to fix this as it is used by multiple libraries in the UK.43 votes -
Allow reader to sort the values in a facet by A-Z or by number of records.
Most databases such as Web of Science or Ebsco Discovery tool allow the user to determine how to sort the values in a facet (see screenshot)

Incorrect citation formatting
Below is an email that I got from one of our reference librarians:
Here’s a citation issue, we’re coping with.
I expect you can’t fix this because it looks like a broad indexing issue, but can it be reported?PROBLEM ONE (this affects MLA & APA & Chicago)
The Primo citations often include extra information, for example:

Add in-line display option for textual holdings and notes (866 a,z) in Get It section
The display of the 866 a (holdings) and z (notes) subfields as separate lines in Primo VE is confusing for users. We request the option to display the 866 subfields a and z in the same line in Primo.
For example, a journal has 2 866 fields, one of which includes "CD-ROM" in subfield z to indicate the format. The word "CD-ROM" appears in the third line, causing confusion about if this refers to the line above, or is a separate holding.Availability:

ahead of print
More appropriate link resolving for "Ahead of Print" (pre-publish) articles.
We recently had a report of problem linking for an "Ahead of Print" Primo article result. In this instance, linking resolved to an incorrect article - since it matched by keyword search at the journal.
If better metadata cannot be obtained for "Ahead of print" articles, and these are not formally published articles, perhaps these results should not be included for Primo results -- or be able to be pulled into results in a separate facet?

Extend hypertext linking for Relation, Is Part Of, and Uniform Title to remote records
Enhanced hypertext linking for ispartof, relation, and unititle was introduced in the November 2017 Primo Release. These new fields joined existing hypertext linked fields for creator, contributor, and subject.
However, a key difference for the three newer fields is that they only show lateral links in the UI for local records. This limitation is hardcoded, and is confirmed but not explained (Case: 00486499).
Like many sites, we have configured our Primo environment without search scopes with a source-agnostic design, with the underlying premise that users do not care who owns an item or where the record comes from, only that…13 votes -
Highlight one result from each Resource Recommender type in brief results
We can create multiple types of Resource Recommenders, but if multiple items within a particular type match the tags a user searches for, multiple items are returned from a single Recommender and some Recommenders are hidden. We would like to be able to highlight one result from each matching Recommender.
For example, display in Primo seems to support highlighting 3 items from Resource Recommenders in brief results, with additional items displayed under link to "See all [#] suggested resources." We currently have three Recommender types: Library Guides, Databases, and a Custom recommender for Librarians (enhanced version of Person recommender). No…1 vote -

Improve Analytics support for user-created tags in Primo/Primo VE.
We would like to better understand the impact of user-created tags on user behavior, particularly as we (staff) use tags to help identify material in our collections. Specifically we would like to see the following information:
How frequently do people search using tags?
*How many searches are conducted through the tag portal (available in the ellipsis)
*How many times do people click on tags within records and thus get to the full listing of records with that tag appliedCan we cross-reference items that have tags with their item use?
A report showing all the tags being used/searched.

Custom fonts
We would like custom TTF and OTF fonts to be natively supported in the Primo customization package. This would allow applications to render barcodes as well as other corporate branding elements.

add date/time stamps to indexing & hotswapping sections of Job Details Report
In the job details reports, where indexing and hotswapping are reported, there is no date/time stamp to indicate how long these portions of the job took to run. It's useful for guesstimating the length of a process before we start it and other sections like FRBR and DeDup include this information

Add Zotero Support for Alma Services Page
The Zotero plugin uses a showPNX flag that outputs the metadata in an XML format that Primo and PrimoVE use.
However, Services Pages do not hold the PNX information and can therefore not work with the Zotero plug-in. This is true for Summon-over-Alma/PrimoVe and Primo customers when using the services page.
Please add support for Zotero.

My Account - Previous/Historic Requests
Our previous resource sharing system allowed clients to view previous/historic Requests however Primo only allows active resource sharing Requests to be tracked and viewed. Can the functionality available for Primo's My Account Loans view please also be applied to Requests so previous/historic requests can also be viewed by clients.

The number of default thumbnails of each tile on Primo Collection Lobby
If I do not define any image files, the system displays the first four images found in the collection's sub-collections and items. It looks much too complicated so it would be great if the institution can fix the number of default thumbnails in a tile(e.g. 4 -> 1), without defining an image file on Discovery tab or General tab.

Add Knowledge Unlatched content to PCI
We would like to see Knowledge Unlatched fully indexed in the PCI to enhance discovery for all of the materials in this Open Access collection.
