Hierarchical labels for sub-collections in Collections hierarchy
When browsing the Collections hierarchy there is a separate label for top level collections and for sub-collections (at whatever level). We would like to be able to have separate labels according to values contained in the bib records. This would allow the different levels of a complex sub-collection hiearchy to be expressed appropriately: e.g. it would allow us to reflect transparently the structure of our archival collections: Collection - Series - File - Item. it could also allow the hierarchy of different types of collections to be expressed differentially.

This is not about Collection Discovery *, but about the hierarchical presentation of for example a collection of letters, correct?

This an excellent idea! Hopefully this development will enable creation of collection "breadcrumbs" to display the full hierarchy or drill down search.
