Enable Alma collections items linked to logical sets to be updated as the set changes
Currently it seems that Alma Collections can only be updated by manually adding individual items or adding items from sets. If the set is a logical set, as new items that fulfill the set search criteria are added, could they also automatically update the Alma Collection. This would save having to manually maintain Alma Collections to some degree.

"... we agreed on including NERS #7880 in this year’s enhancements and having the extra points removed from those available in 2023."
Meaning this should be possible by autumn 2023.

"Members of the Alma Product Working Group will meet with Ex Libris representatives in July to discuss options regarding the enhancement that ranked fifth in the final vote."

The confusion with Primo is probably because this was available as a Publishing job in Primo BO (https://knowledge.exlibrisgroup.com/Primo/Product_Documentation/Primo/Back_Office_Guide/060Configuring_Primo%E2%80%99s_Front_End/050Collection_Discovery#Configuring_Discovery_for_Alma_Collections). It's functionality conspicuously lacking in Alma/VE.

You are right, Manu. I think Ex Libris should themselves transfer this idea to the Alma asset, give the existing votes by default and associate all current voters to the new idea.

Great idea! We often refreshing a collection manually from a logical set. Would be great to automate!

Most of the collections we have (and have thought about creating) are dynamic groups that are easily identified via a logical set. Seems completely reasonable to think that the collection would update to reflect changes in that set, even if via a nightly job or something.

It is currently possible to manually add contents of a Set to a Collection that will appear in Primo.
We would like to make it possible to create dynamic Collections that change/update when new items are added that meet the criteria to be added to the logical set.
Right now, as the logical set changes, the Collection contents remain unchanged.
