Advanced search option for Users search
Create an advanced search for Users search, just like for physical titles / items. In this search, make it possible to search (for instance) users with specific roles or job categories, identifiers starting with specific prefixes, users with different kinds of blocks, users with outstanding loans or requests, etc, and the possibility to combine these.
As of July release you can search for users by combining search criteria, using Alma advanced search. This is available only to users with the roles and privileges to search for users.

From the Alma mailing list:
"Unfortunately, we will not be able to deploy the new indexes on the sandbox environments. The feature will be available on the production environments on July 5th, as planned." -

Moshe, you have already promised us advanced search on users in 2017: https://ideas.exlibrisgroup.com/forums/308173-alma/suggestions/15000648-find-and-manage-users-by-user-group

I have voted for this idea as I would like to be able to interrogate our live data about our users directly in our LMS as needed. For example, as an admin, I typically need to do testing for various system configurations and issues, and have had the need to find some current users by key elements. I have been prevented from doing this quickly and easily by Alma limitations of user search, and have been forced into the significantly more laborious process of loading Analytics, which often has caching delays and also disrupts other reports I might be running on historical data. This then needs even more back and forth checks between Alma and Analytics to find accounts which have not changed in the preceding day after ETL, as this data is not current. It does not seem unreasonable that library staff should be able to use our LMS to find our own data in ways that are practical to our daily work, and this is just one example.

Can you elaborate on the functional purpose of running these searches ?
Are you able to retrieve this information running an Analytics report that is then exported to an Alma set (see http://exl-edu.com/01_Alma/Whats_New/2018-05/Create_a_Set_in_Alma_from_an_Alma_Analytics_Report/story_html5.html) ?

That will be very useful! The user search is very basic, we need to select users crossing differents fields: blocks, expiry date, statistics fields, loans...
Thanks!
