Link to view record in Primo from Alma
When viewing a bibliographic record in Alma, we would like a link to appear that opens a new browser tab/window showing the record in Primo. For example, the MMSID could be hyperlinked, which would then perform a search for the record in Primo. This would enable quick identification of publishing problems between Alma and Primo as well as testing record display in Primo.

Since I can't add my vote, I will comment to say please make this available in standard Primo ASAP.

I agree with Corinna. This idea was submitted for Alma and it should not be marked Already Supported if it is not available in Alma for all customers.

This idea shouldn't be closed if it's only supported in Primo VE which is a minority of Primo customers.

Great, but what if we do not have Primo VE and will not have it for some time? It would still be super-useful to get this working on Primo too!

Thank you for posting this request. This enhancement is already supported in Primo VE, which optimizes the management of Primo with Alma by utilizing the Alma platform.
Beyond this particular example, libraries adopting Primo VE can further reduce duplicated administrative processes and optimize workflows. For more details please see: https://knowledge.exlibrisgroup.com/Primo/Product_Documentation/Primo_VE -

This would be very helpful, especially when cataloging from scratch.

I support this enhancement. It often happens that an update/edit is made in the bib record at the request of a library user/patron/research librarian but if this is not happening in real time access is compromised. Having to keep track of changes and wait for a day or so and then go back to check to see if the changes display as intended is completely inefficient.

This would be especially helpful when attempting to add value to records while utilizing fields and subfields that one uses less regularly. Being able to see in real time whether what you are trying to convey in your changes or additions will appear clear to users and library staff is crucial to metadata creation.

This would be really helpful and so would Primo in real time.

We need this especially for original cataloging. Please.

Very good idea! This would increase cataloging accuracy and efficiency. Frustrating that in 2016 we need to basically maintain a paper list (or a pile/cart of the physical items) for a day or more after cataloging just in to check how the record looks to patrons.
