Add user notes to user_for_printing in letters XML
We use a hold shelf for most books, but some need to be sent by mail, and this is indicated in user notes.
Would be really useful if user notes could be included in the XML for letters like FulPlaceOnHoldShelfLetter and FulReasourceRequestSlipLetter. Then we could modify the output from these according to content found in the notes.

Keystrokes For Shortcut Ctrl+W (Close) Is Too Similar To Alt+W (Patron ID)
Ctrl+W Should Not Close The Window. It Is Too Easy To Mix It Up With Alt+W. Often a person is waiting to be helped and I accidentally use Ctrl+W instead of Alt+W to pull up the box to scan a patron's identification card and consequently the Alma Window closes, requiring me to find your web page and log-in again while the Patron stares at me getting frustrated.

Offer same Row Actions List options from the results list on both Scan In Items tabs
It would be useful to be able to cancel a request and edit items from the results list in the Change Item Information tab of Scan In Items, like you currently can from the Scan In Items tab. It's confusing that both editing items and cancelling requests necessitate a Scan In Item tab change.

reading list automatic status
When working on a reading list from within Alma it would be useful if the status changed automically. For example when a member of staff chooses 'Work On' from the dropdown in actions list the status should change to 'Being Processed'. Currently this has to be done manually.

Support filtering in a task list to identify items with an empty status value
We have set up a work order department within the location 'Library Fulfilment', and within the tasks list there are 'items - in department', within this there are various items which do not have a process status applied yet and we note we are unable to filter this list to show those items which do not yet have a status.
We would like it to be possible to filter the task list so that only items with and empty process status would be displayed.1 vote -
Alert regarding Multiple chapters requested from one item by one patron
We would like an alert to let us know if a patron has placed multiple requests for chapters from one item. Copyright only allows for 10% or 1 chapter. As we are multicampus, it is hard to keep track of what a patron has requested to avoid breaching copyright.

Correct inaccurate "Loan Status" in Alma
If a patron requests a title that has multiple items when all available items are in loan,
all items will not be renewaled, because the request is pending. In "My Library" the remark is "cannot renewal", but at that time,
in Alma, the Loan status is shown as "Normal" for some items and "Recalled" for others.
All items of the title should be shown as "Recalled".We suggent to reflect the request data accuratelly on the Loan Status in Alma.

Request data should be fowarded to available item immediately
The patron A requests on title-level that there are multiple available items,
one of those items will be in "pick from shelf" list.
Patron B might check out the requested item before staff picks it from shelf.
If the library has a policy that allows to override requests, Patron B can check it out
even if an alert is displayed.
In that case, even if there are other availble items, the request will remain under the first item
and the first item will still in "pick from shelf" list. Alma does not make a next action. If patron C accidentally…

Hope to have a separate Read-Only privilege for Users' contact information
The role "Circulation Desk Operator - Limited" lost the priviledge to check user's contact information after July release. To protect users' privacy and manage data, we cannot assign "privilege : User Manage Update" to this limited role as it has right to change customer's information. However our librarians will need to check users' contact information frequently at the Circulation Desk. Requesting the contact information from higher level librarian will reduce the efficiency.
We hope to have a separate Read-Only privilege for Users' contact information, then we could assign this privilege to limited role based on our workflow.

Customize the position of the Patron information on the Patron services page
In the new Alma UI, the position of the Patron information on the Patron services page is on top or at the right of the page, depending on your screen resolution.
Our staff works with width screens, causing the Patron information to show on the right of the page.
We would like to have this information always on top of the page: currently we can't customize this.1 vote -
Make "Borrowing patron" a customizable option on Scan In Items screen
When a book is scanned in from the Scan In Items page, there are some options under the Settings gear that be added to display more (or less) information. One of these should be to show the information on the borrowing patron and a link to Manage Fulfillment Activities or the Patron Record. I understand this is an available field on the "Return Items" page. However, there are times when I am scanning in books that I'm not sure if they are signed out or not. If I use the Return Items page I get a pop-up for every book…

More circulating rules and displays
The display of the elements of the Conditions of Use (TOU) in Primo VE offers only one choice: "loanable" or "non-loanable" (or other local labels). This poses a problem for us for the elements which we wish to communicate on site during the day and which must therefore not appear as borrowed to avoid misunderstandings (cf. computer equipment) but which we wish to lend without "override". At the other end of the spectrum, we have the confidential copies which must not appear with a mention as "communicable ..." either. These conditions of use should be displayed according to 4 modalities:…

Add the Item call number in the Reading list
Courses > Reading lists : On the “Edit reading list” screen, it should be possible to see the Item call number too (and not only the Call number). In our library we sometimes have several copies of a document which means that we have multiple items in one holding.
In situation A, only one of the items is added to a Reading list.
In situation B, different items are added to different Reading lists. But since you don't see the Item call number on the "Edit reading list" screen, it is not obvious which item is in which Reading list.1 vote -
After running a update user job to apply a block I want all users with loans, fines or overdue books to be reported
After running an update user job to apply a general block (in this case a graduating) block) I need to see which users still have loans, fines, lost or overdue books

self checkout sip2
Self checkout sip2 - ability to restrict checkin by item type/location
Certain items need to be checked in at the circ desk such as reserves or equipment. Currently self checkout does not support any restrictions.

In the fulfilment section, enable quick transfer of an item from one patron to another
In many cases, two patrons arrive at the fulfilment desk and one patron asks to return an item and transfer it to the other patron. Currently, the item has to be returned, then the other patron's ID or name are entered and the patron receives the item. In order to speed up the process, I suggest adding a "Transfer to..." function. Once an item is returned and a transfer is needed, clicking on "transfer to" would enable immediate input of the other patron's details and save time.

Include column for Bin number in SIP2 Bin Configuration Rules
It would be very helpful to see the Bin number available in the columns on the SIP2 Bin Configuration rules overview screen as currently, each rule must be accessed individually to see the associated bin, which is a fundamental part of the rule.

work order status scope to work order department
Currently in Alma, the work order deparment and work order status are two separate lists associate with a work order type. In our library, sometimes branch libraries may track work order status differently, we ended up with a long list of work order status that shared among all work order departments, some status may not applicable to some work order department. We would prefer to have multiple work order status lists that scope to individual work order department respectively.

Lieber Moritz Eigensatz
Ach so…

Add Archived/Unarchived Visibility Facet to Reading List
When a course is archived all of its associated reading lists also become archived but when you look in the Reading List page there is no way to determine which reading lists are archived without clicking the ellipse next to each reading list to see whether it has an Unarchive option.
It would be nice to be able to filter for this with a facet like you can with Courses.
