  1. Filtering a report based on a user set

    Right now if you want to filter a report on a user set...

    1. Run a search in Alma and save to a set
    2. Export the list, using Excel.
    3. Manipulate the needed field (e.g. of barcodes), to be stored in one row, with semicolon separating them (e.g. 365704-340;365704-350).
    4. Copy this list as a row to be used as a filter in Analytics

    I would like Alma smart enough, when I click on filter to simply supply the user set I created.

  2. Analytics for count of resource sharing requests made via Course Reserves citations

    We'd like to be able to see analytics data for resource sharing requests placed via Course Reserves citations. We are told by Support that this is not currently supported, and it was suggested that we create an idea here.

  3. Add a timestamp to 'modification date' for physical items and holdings in Physical Items area.

    The timestamp and date of 'delete date' for physical items/holdings can only be found in "Manage Deleted Repository' in Alma.

    It is good to have the timestamp appeared at the field 'modification date' of physical items/holdings in Analytics. It is particularly helpful when getting records of deleted items/holdings for weeding report.

  4. Overlap Analysis reports

    These reports would and should utilize and contain within them subject headings and subject areas. It seems like it would be a very useful functionality for staff to make use of subject headings for comparison to other vendors' reports who use subject headings/terms while doing an overlap analysis. When trying to compare CZ electronic collections to our IZ collections, it would be good to know which subject coverage area and date range each matched portfolio has.

  5. Make Provider Account ID info available to users as an Analytics option

    Need Provider Account ID in order to use the Resources report called 'My Electronic Resources by Provider' to get electronic resources counts on all providers not just the ProQuest default.

  6. Add "Electronic Collection Content Type" to Alma Analytics

    In Alma, you're able to filter and view electronic collections by "Electronic Collection Content Type" (i.e. Book Package, Journal Package, etc.) -- However, this isn't a column or field available in Analytics.
    It would be great if it could be included so we could create reports on electronic collections based on how the content is defined for that collection.

  7. Add "credit" to Fees and Fines subject area

    Users want to create reports that show credits issued by which operators, the date and amount of the credit, who the credit was issued to and what the credit was issued for.

  8. Add "VAT Percentage" to Analytics

    Currently there is no way to get the VAT percentage of an invoice or invoice line in Analytics. There is only "VAT Code %", but this is useless for institutions that don't use VAT Codes.

  9. Out-of-the-box reports - misleading column headers

    A number of reports have column headers which do not reflect the results of the actual criteria used in the report e.g. Count of Items Loaned have a column header of Loans (In House + Not In House) where a filter of ‘In House Loan Indicator is equal to / is in N’ has been applied. Appreciate that you can go in and change the Column Heading description but not all users will think to check the criteria of a report and assume the results are for that indicated in the column header - see attached document for example and…

  11. Index MARC field 440 contents to Series or Series statement in Bibliographic details of Design analytics

    Series titles entered to MARC field 440 currently cannot be retrieved using Design analytics. Many old bib records carry series titles in field 440. Thank you for your consideration!

  12. serial type

    Be able to lookup bibliographic titles by serial type (Fixed field 21 SrTp: Type of continuing resource), especially for monographic series type m. Our serials desk wants a way to easily find these so when they receive materials they can separate the standing orders from the subscriptions. They could also generate reports from the data parsed in Analytics to assist their students during the receiving process.

  13. Add SUSHI “Status Description” field for uploaded files as column option in Analytics

    Ex Libris has said “No valid report items found in the file” is behavior that should still be listed as a “Fully Processed” file, but it would be helpful if we could more easily find files that we believe may not have loaded properly based on their Alma “Status Description” in Analytics.

  14. Analytics widget - customize/remove Open in a new window link

    I'd like to be able to remove or customize the "Open in a new window" link that appears on top of a widget of an analytics report.

    The widget can only fit a very short report. Opening this short report in full view is not that useful. It would be better to link to a longer report or a dashboard.

  15. Identify subscription databases in Alma analytics

    It is possible to identify subscription collections in Alma analytics by marking the service editor: Free=Not free. However, databases do not have service editor. We do mark it in the collection editor as Free=not free.

    In Alma analytics, there is no way to identify subscription databases. My case was closed with the support directing me to suggest an idea here.

    Please add elements in Alma analytics so we can use to identify subscription databases.

  16. Add "Field searched" Column in "Primo Popular Searches" Analytics

    "Field searched" is an attribute field that stores the field being searched. This is relevant if the user performed a search on a specific field (such as authors only). But now we can only use this function in the "Zero Result Searches". We would like to use this function in the "Primo Popular Searches", so that we could do more users behavior analysis.

  17. FRBR report option in Alma

    Primo has the ability to group titles (mulitple editions, for example) using FRBR principles. However, finding multiple editions of titles is very slow and cumbersome in Alma. A "FRBR" report option in Alma/Analytics would be very beneficial for collection work and could draw on capabilities already existing in Primo.

  18. Renewal Hour and Renewal Time in the Renewal Date folder on Fulfillment

    Hello,

    Some days ago one of our libraries asked for some hourly fulfillment reports. I then noticed that the "Renewal Date" folder does not have a "Renewal Hour" nor a "Renewal Time", as most of the other date folders have. Is it possible to add a "Renewal Hour" or "Renewal Time" to the "Renewal Date" folder?

  19. Add read-only parameter to Users > Role

    In the Users subject area, you can report on roles, but not if a role is read-only. This means that reporting on who has administrator roles is very confusing and implies more access than may actually exist. That value needs to be added to this subject area.

  20. Improve event key data for System Events tracking

    The data captured in System Events for code and mapping table changes could be useful for auditing purposes and tracking changes to administrative settings. However, the key value pair captures an internal code for the table rather than the name, and there is no way for Alma customers to retrieve the code, either from the Alma UI or the configuration API calls.

    It would be much better to include the table name in the event log, or provide the table code in some fashion so that they could be linked together.
