Allow labeling of parameters like local param 01, 02 for bib and holdings
Alma allows adding bib or holding field additions into Alma Analytics

For instance you can request that "local param field 01" pulls the 690 field. However, you cannot change the "local param field 01" label in analytics from "local param 01" to 690. This is not user friendly because the availability of the 690 field in your analytics report isn't apparent to users.
I'd like to request the ability to locally label these local param fields so they match up with what the fields actually do in an analytics report.

I would point out that the original request for enhancement is not "already supported" as the proposed solution changes headers inside individual reports rather than in the Analytics folders. Changing the name in the Analytics folder means that everyone who creates reports can see what fields are indexed in the Local Parameter. That is much more important than changing the label in an individual report.

I agree with Henry Steele, I think the issue has been misunderstood.
Is there somewhere else in Alma where you can see what MARC field your local parameters map to?

I won't speak on behalf of the person who posted this suggestion, but it seems like the answer does not meet the need. You can change the field name in each report, but if you're a library user who doesn't happen to know what MARC field is mapped to this field, you wouldn't know what to change it to. This is at least how it appeared to me

Hi - You may be seeking for a standard change in-system, but did you know that you can change the column header yourself by Column Properties? You can also save your column for reuse, so you don't have to do it every time.
