The 'Claimed Returned' action will be available for lost loans. It will change the loan status to 'claimed returned'.
A customer parameter will determine whether the change to claimed returned should trigger a 'Find Item' action (and refund the lost item fees) + change to 'claim return', or only change to 'claim return'.

The proxy relation between two users will have an expiration date. After the expiration date, the proxy relation will be considered inactive, and be ignored by the system.
The date of expiry will be updateable in the Proxies tab of the user form.

I wanted to add some comments to this. I believe (?) Ex Libris developed something along this line where you can create a separate user for a proxy that would log into Primo differently. And obviously be a different account to check out items on behalf of faculty. But we don't think this is ideal, because it splits a single patron's acvitivty , the proxy, into two records which could create confusion.
So we'd like it if Ex Libris developed this along the original lines laid out in the idea exchange enhancement here, at https://ideas.exlibrisgroup.com/forums/308173-alma/suggestions/16742482-add-expiry-date-for-proxy-for-users

Hi,
Of course ! We will add a job that will be able to run on a set of user records and purge them, using standard validations (such as no existing loans, fees).

This is a great idea, and I think is important for bulk due dates to work properly. If possible it might be good to make this a toggle feature, like a check box that says "override expiration dates?"

The core user record will have a field for selecting a preferred pronoun. The options will be from a configurable drop down such as:
- he, him, his
- she,her,hers
The field will be updatable from:
- Alma form
- SIS
- API
- Primo (VE)
The preferred pronoun will in the Manage Fulfillment Options screen.
It will be possible to locally override this field without overriding from the SIS, like other fields allow (such as user group).

The problem we have with claimed returned is that something can’t have a claimed return status, and then also another process type like being on a search work order. This limits our ability to use the claimed return status, because in most all cases it would be searched for afterwards.
Would addressing the larger problem mentioned in this enhancement also address the issue I've described?
