Expose 'Export to Worldcat' management tag to Analytics
We would like to be able to access the 'Export to Worldcat' management tag in analytics, in the same way we can access the 'Suppress from Discovery' management tag. This would allow us to gather records for which the Export tag has been set incorrectly, and use a job to Republish them to OCLC.

The use case for this tag in Alma Analytics for our institution is for enabling us to run reports on records not tagged for export, to gather statistics to assess backlogs, to manage cataloguing workflows and to monitor data quality.
We used to use the presence of a MARC field as the indicator that the record is complete, but since changing to OAI-PMH harvesting, this is no longer helpful.

Exporting records to WorldCat is an important part of library resource sharing.
Adding the Export to WorldCat management tag in Analytics will also allow for ongoing data monitoring (ensuring records are not erroneously added to Alma with the incorrect Set Management Tag) via Analytics Reports and Analytics Objects. Creating scheduled Analytics Objects allows libraries (and NZs) to quickly be notified of and correct any titles with the incorrect management tag. -

There are several shortcomings to the current model whereby these values are only visible via search results. In a consortium environment, the export to WorldCat tags at the institution and network work in concert with one another. Advanced search on the Tag Sync External Catalog value allows only the results in the institution being searched. Additionally, the Tag Sync value only accounts for records with an active lifecycle; the deleted repository has limited retrieval options that requires knowledge of the record IDs or user IDs involving deletion.
When troubleshooting whether the data sync or any publication job has properly sent the records through, central office staff are already reviewing data using analytics. This is especially true for records deleted from the repository. The presence of the Export to WorldCat tag in analytics will give a clear picture in context of the other data present on the record at the time a record was added or deleted, without requiring the user to perform a separate search for the record or all records, or to review the record history in the metadata editor.

Hello,
Currently it is possible to advance search in Alma for bibliographic records with specific values in the management tags for publishing to OCLC or Libraries Australia.
* Tag Sync External Catalog - The bibliographic management tag for publishing to OCLC
* Tag Sync National Catalog - The bibliographic management tag for publishing to Libraries AustraliaThis enables to gather records for which the Export tag has been set incorrectly, and use a job to republish them to OCLC or LA.
We would like to better understand the use case for having these tags reported in Analytics.
In what cases will a report including this information be used? For what purposes? Thanks,
Hadas

We would also like the "export to Libraries Australia" tag to be reportable in Analytics.

Agreed. We would like this kind of functionality for the management tag "Export to Libraries Australia".
While the advanced search option ("Tag synch to national catalog") is very useful, being able to run regular reports on records published/not published is critical to our workflows, especially as all Australian libraries are now encouraged to publish to Libraries Australia via OAI-PMH.

Additionally, this value should be tracked in analytics on both the institution and network levels, as an NZ bibliographic record may have a different value than any IZ records.
At the IZ:
Bibliographic Details.Publish to External Catalog
possible values: Publish bibliographic record, Publish holdings, Don't publishFor records linked to the NZ:
Bibliographic Details.Network Publish to External Catalog (similar to the Network ID field)
possible values: Network Publish bibliographic record, Network Publish holdings, Network Don't publish -

As far as I can tell this isn't an index in Alma advanced search either, so if it could at least be a search index OR in Analytics (if not both), that would be a big help.

This seems like it should be a fairly straightforward addition to Bibliographic Details, but very useful for libraries that use these tags.

As the management tag is the only criteria that the OCLC publishing profile uses to determine what should be published from Alma to OCLC, having it accessible in analytics would be a huge boon, from an individual institution standpoint as well as a consortial one. I am also surprised that it isn't already available, and I support this idea as well!

I was surprised that this is not already available and strongly support this idea!
