Agreed. We would like this kind of functionality for the management tag "Export to Libraries Australia".
While the advanced search option ("Tag synch to national catalog") is very useful, being able to run regular reports on records published/not published is critical to our workflows, especially as all Australian libraries are now encouraged to publish to Libraries Australia via OAI-PMH.

I agree it would be very helpful to be able to choose more than one item in a department and update the expiry date for those items. Changing the expiry date one at a time is very slow and cumbersome.

This may be one way of getting around the problem of having the merge patron functionality locked into the user manager and user admin roles.

Yes I agree, it has caused workflow issues for us. I am reluctant to add the extended role for everyone who needs to manage holdings. It is an auditing risk and we are audited on a regular basis.

Exactly! It's a "contains" search not a proper "starts with" search, which is most useful for call number searches

That's an interesting idea but for our use case, all of the copies are available and are in the same library. We just want to have a priority associated with each location code so that particular locations within the library are assigned to users in preference to other locations if both are available.

YES! I would love a priority list of location codes so that legal deposit can be issued as a lower priority than the lending copy and rare books lower still. We had this in our old LMS and it worked a treat.

YES. We export records out of Alma to globally update them and then re-import them but we don't want the suppression tag to change, either all suppressed or all unsuppressed, we want them to just stay the same as they were already.
The use case for this tag in Alma Analytics for our institution is for enabling us to run reports on records not tagged for export, to gather statistics to assess backlogs, to manage cataloguing workflows and to monitor data quality.
We used to use the presence of a MARC field as the indicator that the record is complete, but since changing to OAI-PMH harvesting, this is no longer helpful.
