Make "Automatically Print Slip" do what it says
The term automatically print slip makes it seem like you have the ability to turn off printing of slips by setting this to "No". This is not the case. Slips still print. We should have the ability to turn off ALL automatic slip printing when scanning in items. This worked fine for us until the May 2018 and November 2018 releases of Alma changed the way this worked.

Prior to May 2018, when we had "No" selected for "Automatically print slip", slips did not print. After May 2018, even if the "No" is selected, a Resource Request Slip still prints. Between May and November ONLY the request slip was printing. AFTER the November 2018 release, Transit Slips started printing also even when this button is set to "NO". We have a processing dept that scans in all of these items and do not need these slips to print and we are wasting a lot of paper for them to print. This was noted in salesforce case 00551370.

Hi,
Can you elaborate on what changes have been done in May and November of 2018 that changed the behavior of this radio button ?
Thanks,
