Receiving workbench - more functionality
Receiving workbench should be the most logical place to have an Open Expected Items button when you run out of predicted items. An option to withdraw expected items on the receiving workbench should also be available if during receipt the receiving operator becomes aware that an issue will not be published.

Even though this post is older, I want to comment to hopefully demonstrate that this is still very much needed and wanted. Quite often publications will publish double issues that mean one issue will need to be deleted, and having to go all the way into the item list to do this is such a pain, both in the number of clicks it takes and the time it takes to load each page. And then you have to click back into the receiving workbench. The same goes for opening more predicted items, especially because their is no automated way of doing this.

I absolutely agree!!
I also expect to see here the expected arrival date: it's not confortable at all to edit each single copy to see this fundamental information! -

Agreed, "open expected items" is something I would expect to see in the receiving workbench.

Received Items List (for journal issues). We would like an option in the ellipsis for Withdraw (in addition to Edit Inventory Item, Receive, Write to RFID, View Hidden). In fact, all of the options provided by the ellipsis buttons in List of Items (so Duplicate and Withdraw)

It is easy to accidently receive something in the Receiving Workbench. Therefore functionality should exist to withdraw items from the same screen. It is a minimum of 6 clicks to be able to withdraw an item when you are in the Receiving Workbench.

To be clear, this is for continuous receiving.
