  1. Add the Amount Paid in Current FP field to invoicing

    Presently there is a field which displays in the PO Line Summary for continuous orders which details how much has been spent on that PO line in the current financial year - useful for items which are subscriptions but paid for individually, such as Law looseleaf subscriptions. If this field could appear when entering an invoice on the Invoice Line Details that would be a great help in deciding whether to disencumber these orders, particulary towards the end of the financial year.

  3. On shelf hold button as Smart option

  4. Add percentage figures to the Fund Balance graph

    When a fund is selected, the Fund Balance graph shows Expended, Encumbered and Allocated amounts. Can it be made possible to display those expended and encumbered amounts together with the percentage figure of each as a proportion of the allocation? It would also be great if we could see the number of items each at expended and encumbered status here.

  5. Make the site compatable for minimizing the window.

    When minimizing the window to half screen or less the words and links overlap and squish together instead of adjusting to screen wideness, ive never seen a website do this before and it gets really annoying when working on 2 windows pulled up side by side.

  7. Patron contact info - more fields?

    Adding discretionally more fields (i.e. city, see city.jpg) to the fields displayed in the user details - contact info panel
    (see user_details.jpg for the fields available at now...) would be a great thing...:=)

  8. A different colour scheme for Alma Sandbox

    Currently, Alma (Sandbox) and Alma (Production) looks almost the same except for the tiny “Sandbox” wording under the Alma logo on the top left corner of the screen.
    It can be very misleading and it will be disastrous (and irreversible in some cases!) if I update the wrong records in Production.

    You may want to consider to use a different colour scheme for the Sandbox login. Eg a “Alma Sandbox” logo with a red background.

  9. Alternative way to withdraw items from ALMA

    It would be useful to have a withdraw items button displayed when a library needs to withdraw items from its collection. When viewing items from the search results page, instead of clicking Actions and choosing withdraw item from the drop down menu - can we have a button next to the existing move items button for a quick withdrawal of items.

  11. Standardize item record navigation

    Currently when navigating the list of items the position of the numbers and arrows changes position depending on how deep you are in the records. For instance when you go from the first page to the second page the arrow will jump to the left due to the records being displayed adding another digit. This happens again when you hit three digits in the record display. So if you are paging through focused on the content you can all of a sudden jump to the end of the list without ever moving your mouse. I'm asking for this to be…

  12. Should be able to fill in all fields in item records by typing.

    Currently, location fields in item records can only be filled in by choosing from a menu. It would be helpful if it were also possible to simply type in the location when it is known. That way the change from one temporary location to another could be done by a macro, which would save a LOT of time when processing a cart of books with the same location change.

  13. Physical Item Editor - activate Confirm button upon Save action

    In the Physical Item Editor, upon Clicking the Save button, please automatically activate as default the "Confirm" button in the Confirmation Message pop-up window.
    In the same way that all other Confirmation Message pop-up windows already have the Confirm button activated, so all you have to do is hit the enter key to select it. (Instead of having to make another click on the Confirm button.) This would help improve efficiency.

  14. Add new call number fields to Fulfillment area to assist with reporting

    In the Fulfillment subject area there are no fields allowing the breakdown of the call number in the holdings record.

    Please add fields that allow LC call numbers in the holdings record to be broken down into LC Code and LC number and also a normalised field which can be exported for sorting in Excel.

  16. a specific type of "User notes" shown under "notes" tab

    Currently, all user notes (which can be added manually) are hidden behind the "notes" tab (which can't be manually added), as shown in the attachment. It would be great if a specific type of "user notes"(for example, circulation notes) could be listed under "notes" tab, so that those notes will be more obvious to desk staff.

  17. change run time of "Notifications - Send Due Date Reminders" job to 8am instead of 10am

    The job "Notification – Send Due Date Reminders" seems to be sending a notice on the day that the item is due. It’s scheduled to run at 10:00am every day so picks up short term loans made that day. We would like the ability to change it to run at 8am or earlier before the Library opens as we do not want people with short hourly type loans getting a reminder

  18. Make Holdings information available in the Job Report

    The Job Report page which can be navigated to via, for example, Monitor & View Imports is useful, but would be better still if data pertaining to imported-in holdings were also added.

    The Physical Items pull-down lists total physical items imported, added and updated; and as the successful maintenance and troubleshooting of issues regarding holdings is arguably as important (to us, at least) as that for bibliographic records and items, it would be appreciated to see similar numerical indications of how successful attempted holdings updates have proven.

  19. Ability to see more of the 2 records on the match/merge screen.

    Currently, when manually handling the matches one at a time, the view of the 2 records is only using the upper half of the screen. The ability to scroll each side is great but why not be able to see more of the records by increasing the viewing area? Thank you for considering.

  20. Allow Z39.50 and other search results to include the barcode

    Alma's APIs need to provide greater flexibility in fields searched. Too often the MMSID must be used but this is not a particularly useful ID as it is internal. It's also not particularly helpful as it does not integrate with other systems like Remote Storage management systems, Bindery, NCIP, and the like. Yet Primo displays the barcode so clearly it's not difficult to pull out of a record.
