    Hire an English/Technical writer to create accurate and detailed instructions. I can't find instructions I need in order to create and print orders to vendors to whom we do not order via EDI's or email.

  2. Vendor Interface details screen-Administrative Information tab - Incident log section: More characters required

    Description: Currently, the Incident Log section on the Administrative Information tab of the Vendor Interface Details screen only accepts a certain amount of characters.
    We have found that you can copy and paste a great deal of information into the field. However, when you select the Save button, the number of characters entered into the field is reduced to approximately 1900. There is no notification that characters have been cut.

  3. Receiving: continuous vs one-time receiving of items - tabs should retain settings

    In Acquisitions - Receive Items, when either the continuous or one-time tab is selected, the Keep in Department check box should retain its status according to the tab selected, e.g. checked for One-time and unchecked for Continuous.

  4. Different Sorting Option in Funds List Display

    I would like to see the addition of the sorting mechanism based on status that is found in the vendors list added to the display of the Funds List Display that can default to "Active" funds. Since the default seems to be all the funds that have ever been appear, it would make more sense to mimic the "Active", "All", "Inactive" that is used for "Vendor Status" than ask users to click on additional facets for "Fund/Ledger Status".

    I don't know what is more favorable among customers (the current facets or the mimicking of status as shown in the Vendor…

  5. Sort Option by Invoice Owner

    We have at least four Owners of invoices at our university and need to sort by Owner when invoices are in Review Unassigned, Waiting for Approval or Waiting for Payment, but that is not an option. All other invoice fields are able to be sorted EXCEPT the Owner Field. Can the Invoice Owner field be enabled for sorting?

  6. Provide visual representation of funds and fund structure "tree"-style, not "results-list"-style w/details in tiny text.

    Voyager does this well - a tree structure like Windows, showing the hierarchy and relationship of funds to each other. Voyager also has color and shape indicators to show what kind of fund at a glance, and lays out the allocations, commitments (aka encumbrances), expenditures, and balances in a clear way, grouped, and with space around -- not in tiny text all jammed into a little entry you have to squint to make out which bit you need. Please. Seriously -- visual representation of funds and fund structure.

  8. Add a "contains" option to funds and ledgers search

    When searching for funds and ledgers, some users may want to turn up any fund with a keyword. Let's say there are multiple chemistry funds, with one name "Chemistry - State" and another "Chemistry - Trust." Currently, a search for Chemistry turns up nothing, because it's only an exact search. A contains search would be more useful.

    Make the list price box on the create pol form interactive, so we do not have to click on the box, remove the 0.00, and then key price. This would be helpful in other places in Alma, as well.

  10. Item search in amazon. Can we add the webpage of our local vendor?

    When we order books, we have to fill in the data in metadataeditor. Could we be able to search the homepage of our local supplier?

    Add a flag to a title in the receiving queue, if it has a hold associated with it, regardless of the source of the hold. Right now, unless the hold is initiated in Acquisitions, there is no visible marker in the receiving queue, which causes a problem with batch receiving.

  12. Pause function in PDA module needs to deactive e-portfolio not suppress bib record

    The PDA (patron driven acquisition) module doesn't work as well as it could - for example reporting limitations and the inability to link to an existing electronic collection but the big problem for us is the Pause function. Currently when you Pause a PDA list the bib record is suppressed which can lead to resources available in print or in other electronic collections to be hidden. Can the Pause function deactivate the electronic portfolio instead?

  14. Revert record view back to more "centered" view - "left-shifted" view hard to read

    Monday Feb. 6th, 2017 : new release - has "left-shifted" the record view in the bibliographic and holdings records (this is making viewing more difficult) - can we go back to the more "centered" view that was there previous to this latest update?

    We need a display for a total invoice amount and total invoice lines amount above the invoice tabs. Otherwise we must always click on the summary tab after the recording the invoice lines for control. See attachment please.

  16. Add Call Number to EDI fulfilment shelf-ready order response

    The EDI fulfilment functionality (shelf ready order responses) in Alma does not handle Call Number (classmark). Suppliers are sending call number information in standard GIR segments LCL and LFS in the EDI file, so Alma should be able to import these and populate the order record automatically in the same way as Barcode. This is a key requirement in our opinion because without it, manual intervention is still required for every order.

  17. Add Reporting Codes to Invoices

    Reporting Codes can be applied to POLs only. This limits their usability to, for instance, track actual expenditures vs. proposed costs, or to split out expenses on an item among multiple programs or funds (which can be done with multiple invoices). Allowing Reporting codes, or some similar code, to be applied to Invoices would add a great deal of flexibility and utility to an already good idea.

  18. Electronic Collection Type - One Time

    Here the scenario. I use a B3Kat package title record per profile "Titelübernahme aus dem B3Kat". Then I create via MD editor a PO line for "Electronic Collection - One Time". The field "Electronic Collection type" include the value "Database". We would like to configure the standard value for new records.

  19. Percentage load on vendor/order records

    On the screen for Vendor account details: Develop a data field entitled Overheads, with an input box that can take a percentage. This percentage indicates the percentage with which the value of each order linked to the vendor should be loaded automatically, with an override facility on the order record.

    On the screen for creating a PO Line: Develop a data field entitled Overheads, with an input box that can take a percentage. This field should be populated automatically from the Overheads field on the associated vendor record, loading the value of the order with the percentage, with an override…

  20. Invoice - Vendor account - Mandatory field configurable

    The vendor account field in the invoice details should be a mandatory field. This is not configurable. We have not a choice here in the vendor field and the vendor account field will not filled in automatically. Please, change this.
