    We want this because the only times that we create records, they're all in categories we wouldn't want to publish anyway: reserves, streaming videos and ebooks that we can't loan and so don't want to attach WorldCat holdings to, temporary records for ordering.

  4. Add "Description" to the "Change Physical Items" job so that this field can be edited in batch across sets of item records

    Dear all, we are currently looking into the possibility of a re-design of the quick cataloging functionality - we will take this request into consideration as part of this future change.

    Also, the OTB default book template in MDE, which QC uses, should be fixed not to have a 2013 date in it. This date isn't seen in the QC form and if you don't know to go fix it, you wind up with mismatched dates in the record, which may cause unexpected behavior in Primo searches.

    Multi-select facets are supported in Alma’s new UX searches, including Holdings, Borrowing requests, Lending requests and PO Lines, and will become supported in other searches as they are gradually moved to our new UX. Excluding facets will also be gradually added to new UX searches.

    The 'Claimed Returned' action will be available for lost loans. It will change the loan status to 'claimed returned'.

    A customer parameter will determine whether the change to claimed returned should trigger a 'Find Item' action (and refund the lost item fees) + change to 'claim return', or only change to 'claim return'.

    Agree with Laura Krier- there's nothing magical about Lost that should mean a patron can't still claim they returned an item.

    We’re looking at adding an indication in the Manage In Process Items next to a request where there are more digitization requests for the same item in the queue. A row action will allow the staff to complete the current active request and activate the next.

    Definitely... putting an item back on the shelf only to find that you immediately need it again for another request sounds like a hassle. Perhaps some kind of indicator to show that there are requests remaining, like how there is a little counter in search hitlists?
