    There isn't a possibility to configure the display of a journal's 'Description'. It is possible to edit templates in MD editor to configure which subfields will be displayed, however the display order of these fields is NOT configurable.

    We need a configuration possibility for journal's 'Description'.

  2. Add Call Number to EDI fulfilment shelf-ready order response

    The EDI fulfilment functionality (shelf ready order responses) in Alma does not handle Call Number (classmark). Suppliers are sending call number information in standard GIR segments LCL and LFS in the EDI file, so Alma should be able to import these and populate the order record automatically in the same way as Barcode. This is a key requirement in our opinion because without it, manual intervention is still required for every order.

  3. Different Sorting Option in Funds List Display

    I would like to see the addition of the sorting mechanism based on status that is found in the vendors list added to the display of the Funds List Display that can default to "Active" funds. Since the default seems to be all the funds that have ever been appear, it would make more sense to mimic the "Active", "All", "Inactive" that is used for "Vendor Status" than ask users to click on additional facets for "Fund/Ledger Status".

    I don't know what is more favorable among customers (the current facets or the mimicking of status as shown in the Vendor…

  5. Can the "receive New items" link (when receiving continuous items) be made into a more obvious BUTTON? Thanks

    See screenshot images below for the suggested BUTTON link vs text link.
    The button is much more obvious, and I would have less trouble finding it, especially now that we have gone to the NEW UI. Thank you.

  7. Vendor Contacts (Contact People tab) should not be internal contacts in Alma

    When you enter Vendor Contact Details in Alma (Contact People tab) the internal contact form is used and the vendor contacts are stored as internal contacts. This form is inappropriate for Vendor Information. It asks for non-applicable fields such as gender and birth date and there is nowhere to add important information such as the contact's name, title and company they are associated with, work phone number, cell number, fax number, etc

  8. Expand the options for rolling over different types of PO Lines differently

    We would like to be able to differentiate how print and electronic POLs roll over.
    If either of the following could be done to address this, it would be great.
    Expand the roll over only certain types POLs list from
    One Time
    Continuous
    Standing Order
    To the full list of POL types, or at least to factor in print vs electronic.

    OR, alter the option to roll a single POL over to instead let you roll over the POLs in a public set.

  9. Please allow adding multiple sequences with numeric prefix.

    Now only one sequence with numeric prefix is allowed; if I want to add multiple sequences with numeric prefix, I have to add a random alphabetic prefix and then remove it. Please allow adding multiple sequences with numeric prefix.

  10. Duplicate licenses

    When duplicating licences give the option to include the attachments. Sometimes we want the license to appear with a different name on different orders but still want the attachment to remain the same.

  11. Hyperlink and give status of invoices that are listed under a particular vendor the same way they are when In Review or In Approval.

    Invoices are currently hyperlinked when they are listed in a In Review or In Approval queue. Not so, when you are looking at invoices under a certain vendor, nor is their status indicated if they are In Review, In Approval, Waiting for Payment or Closed. When researching a certain vendors invoices, it is sometimes necessary to look at a number of invoices in a row, which is not currently possible, because you have to cut and past and when you look at one invoice and try to go back, it bumps you into a queue totally unrelated to your search…

  13. Make the "Has Content" indicator responsive not just to tables and lists, but also to fields and drop-down options

    The "Has Content" indication appears only when a table or list on the tab contains contents, but not if it has information in the "form section" (https://www.screencast.com/t/F7G5uKmvcnh). Some tabs (e.g., Licenses> License Details > License Terms) only have a form section though, so the "Has Content" indicator will never appear regardless of whether it contains populated fields.

  15. Allow locally created options for SUSHI scheduling

    Options for SUSHI schedule are fairly limited. Different libraries have varying deadlines for statistics to be reported to administrators. It would be nice if libraries could add a personalized schedule to when SUSHI harvesting is accomplished, especially given the time lag between when it is run and when data is available in analytics, which can make manually running it impractical.

  16. Allow the rollover of a set of POLs or the results of an Alma Analytics query

    It would be nice to be able to roll just a set of of orders, not individual POLs, or specific types of POLs. In our case, we have two libraries that prefer to have their orders rolled over on encumbrance, and the remainder on expenditure plus an FPC factor. We tried doing this this year by separately rolling the specific library's ledger and then associated POLs, but it took days. I think the issue is that it is trying and failing to roll every other active POL, and then just failing on those that do not yet have active funds.…

  17. Allow default filter settings in searches to be customised

    Dear creative minds,

    There are many search bars in ALMA that have default filter settings. Depending on personal preference and work tasks, the default is not always practical. Time and time again I need to change the filter settings to my particular preference or need. Not efficient in terms of mouse clicks and time!

    This issue is conspicuously time and click-consuming when one tries to add a closed PO line to a portfolio, collection or associate it to another PO line. The default filter is set to 'Active' PO lines, so closed PO lines will not be searched. One needs…

  20. License field for Purchase Order Line value

    We would like a total values field on the Summary tab of a License that gives us the total cost of all the PO Lines which that license covers. This would tell us quickly the expenditure value of each license in Alma and enable us to prioritise license workflows by expenditure value.
