Alma automatically logs off too frequently for our busy front desk. Would like a way to stay logged on for our entire shift.
If there is a way to set the frequency of Alma automatically logging us off, we have not discovered it. We have a busy front desk and are using Alma for student fulfillment duties for up to 10 hours per day. Many times we turn back to the computer to complete a transaction only to find that we have been logged off and need to log back into Alma.
As noted in the comments, there is a parameter for controlling the Alma timeout (see https://knowledge.exlibrisgroup.com/Alma/Knowledge_Articles/Timeout_in_Alma) and a parameter for controlling the circulation desk timeout (see https://knowledge.exlibrisgroup.com/Alma/Knowledge_Articles/Timeout_in_Alma_-_Circulation_Desk)

No, this is not already supported. We want Alma to stay active longer. Here is text from the first link: "Answer
Session timeout is set to 60 minutes, at which time the session will expire and staff are required to sign in again. This is not configurable." -

There is a separate setting for the Circulation desks, which can be set to 30 minutes of inactivity; default is 2 minutes:

If the documentation is correct, this should only happen after 60 minutes of inactivity https://knowledge.exlibrisgroup.com/Alma/Knowledge_Articles/Timeout_in_Alma
