Ability to raise a POL at 0.00 (zero) value
POL's are created for gifts, donations or items purchased via an eBook scheme to allow for analytics.
These POL's have to have a minimum value of 0.01, as a POL cannot be created at 0.00 (zero) value.
This creates an encumbrance against a fund, which is false and has an impact on the available balance

This is a great idea and we would really like to see this. Over the years we've racked up a lot of 0.01 POs and it's begun to make a noticeable impact on our fund encumbrances. To respond to Nancy, technical and gift POs aren't allowing us to use zero values - they refuse to save.

I love this idea. It's much needed. I can't speak for the original post but we can't link funds to gift, exchange, or technical orders. We can create POLs with no monetary value that way, but we'd like the ability to link 0.00 value POLs to a particular fund for a variety of analytics purposes. The ability to have a 0.00 (zero) value POL OR a gift/techincal order linked to a fund would be a great help.

Hello, We make the POLs gifts, exchange, or technical orders to create POLs with no monetary value. Do those not work in your situation?
