Alma -- no warning when item goes into "transit" from receiving
When an item is received under Receiving > One Time, if there is a request on the item for a user at another library, the item immediately goes into transit status to the requesting library. There is no message or warning that the item is in transit at this point, and the receiver's assumption is that it is now "In place" and ready to be shelved. The only warning that exists is a column prior to receiving that shows "Yes" under "Requests." Once the item is received, it is gone from this list (see below) and there is no more warning about requests. A transit slip does print out, but it prints out downstairs at the circulation desk. We are generally unaware that it has printed, and there is no information on this transit slip to indicate that it printed following an acquisitions receipt.
Solution: a pop up window like in other places that shows that the item has been requested and will go into transit.

Our solution to this has been to put the item in cataloging when it's received. Then it has to be checked in from acquisitions (scan-in items with set status set to blank and the done box checked to yes). This puts it in transit to the fulfillment unit (circulation) and the hold will not trigger until it is checked in there.
