Add the option to display call number in all work benches in circulation and in all relevant user notifications.
Many libraries are using call numbers as a primary identifier in fulfillment workflows and in communication with the users.

Hi,
I have just seen the added call numbers with the December Release. It is now accessible everywhere except: the requests page of a patron.
It would have been this page where the call numbers are the most useful and the most waited for. Please add it there as well. -

I support the idea of the Leiden University Library. In Lausanne Switzerland, it is important to show the alternative call number as well, as this contains the exact call number of the item.

For the Leiden University Library not just adding the call number in all work benches would be usefull but also adding the alternative call number and the location! Since this information points to the right shelves in our stacks. Especially for returning items it would be very helpful in our every day fulfillment workflow. Actually we hardly can't wait for this to be development.

Hi,
I would also like to stress that the benefits of including Call number in standard Alma UIs for scanning in items, and listing items (i.e. the 'Scan In' and 'In Process Items' screens) would also be very useful for Work Order Departments for precisely the same reasons and would ask for these to be included in enhancements to improve the overall usability and consistency of the Alma User interface.
It may be worth seeing what other 'item elements' are key to the majority of institutions since the 'columns' selection functionality allows users to tailor what they need, but also if it is available to begin with.

We have added this idea to the Alma roadmap. Call number will be more evident in fulfillment screens and notifications such as:
- Patron Services workbench tabs + Return screen
- Scan in Interface tabs
- Activity report -
- Courtesy notice
- Overdue/Lost notice
- Due today notice
- Loan/Return receipts
