An error occurred while saving the comment Peta Hopkins commentedWe promoted Leganto as a way of avoiding inbox vortex, and so that our team could provide backup on any discussion if a Faculty Librarian was away. But if academics are not picking up and responding to the library discussions via Leganto then they slip back to using direct emails to their Faculty Librarians and the discussion is not accessible to the team to action items.
This idea might be part of the solution to making the discussion area more used.Peta Hopkins supported this idea · -

Hi,
This is to update that this issue is still not planned to be developed in the current road map. We will continue to evaluate it for a future release.
Therefore we are keeping this under "Under review" status.
Best regards,
Yael.
An error occurred while saving the comment Peta Hopkins commentedAnother feature I'd like is to select a portion of the course code to show. Our course codes include semester, year, offering details which our students don't really see anywhere else. Being able to choose a substring of the course code for display would be nifty.

An error occurred while saving the comment Peta Hopkins commentedIt would be good to know what proportion are opting out, and whether we should be consulting with a focus group on why, suggestions that would help them see only the crucial updates they want.
We tend to also send a once a term notification to the "daily digest" about resource lists. Next time I might put a reminder in there of how to opt back in again.

An error occurred while saving the comment Peta Hopkins commentedThis would be helpful for us. Due to constraints/challenges with course date from source systems, our course data is a mix of course loader and manual updates. Having a history would help us unpick the threads when troubleshooting.

An error occurred while saving the comment Peta Hopkins commentedI think it would help students to find other resources for assignments. We want them to broaden their reading and not limit themselves only to the citations on the list when they are researching for an assignment.
